I also feel like the movie is over hated. Understanding people like Roy Cohn is foundational to understanding the moment weve arrived at. Same with Allen Dulles, J Edgar Hoover. The movie it reminded me the most of was "Behind the Candelabra", an incredible social satire that pointedly stops being funny at a certain point and left me feeling gross and sad. (In a good way)
Exactly! It’s shame because this film is no where near as controversial as people say it is I feel like this movie humanizes trump without flattering them . It is a fair assessment of how people are able to break the system to advance themselves
I agree. I am so sick of any and everything Donald. I'm just done. The best I could do is buy a ticket to support the producers and give it to someone else. The problem is I live in a red area which won't be playing it because it doesn't flatter him. I would have to drive 40 miles to the Ft. Mohave Indian reservation.
@@StevenHughes-hr5hp Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know Trump is revelling in ecstasy over a movie about himself. He could care less what light it shines on him- it’s about HIM. Quite frankly, if I had to choose between watching him or a movie about him I’d choose the movie. As a movie buff, I’ll eventually watch the film- when it’s in the dollar bin.
To see how much he's freaked out about the movie, you know it's on the money. I'm going to see it tomorrow.
Exactly ! It actually paints a fairly complex picture of him
Great review. Wasn't interested in seeing movie before your commentary but now I can't wait.
Let me know how you like it!
WHERE IS MY ROY COHEN, is an excellent documentary that came out just a couple years ago.
I’ve seen it and really enjoyed it
I hope people actually see this movie!
Me to!
Very thoughtful review. Your perceptions into the main characters are astute.
Thank you 🙏🏾

Truth 💡🗯
Why would anyone want to see ANY Donald Trump movie? Like Kim Kardashian he is a vacuous creation of the supermarket tabloids.

He WAS President after all. Unlike Kardashian Trump is an historic figure.
