About to do the same with my new bike in 2 weeks, reaaaally nervous. Only rode a 100cc motorbike for a week before on quiet suburban streets and 2 days in a course. never been to the "open" road. I can't wait for that day to come for me I'm 6 years away from getting my bike license and just thinking about riding the bike home from the dealership makes me emotional i keep on watching like sad biker videos and they their actually some what soothing for me i can't wait to be a biker MARK ME BY MY WORDS The day I'm driving home from the dealership I'm going to have to pull over and start crying happy tears bc i bought a bike 🥲🥲🫰✨
Missed 3rd a couple times but a nice and easy ride home. I used to ride dirtbikes when I was younger but I'm thinking of picking up a bike for the street and this looks like a great option. I don't need to be able to do 160mph I just want to have some fun cruising
Then this is the bike for you. Obviously not 160 like a 600 but 140 is plenty and the power is so nice for the streets. I’ve ridden plenty of my buddies 600s and they left me in the dust at lights because o was giving it r7 amounts of gas and moving nowhere.
I could sense the itch to gun it at 2:42 when you see that other biker comes around the corner and give it beans. We all get that. even after 27 years of riding, I 'give chase' when seeing another biker on a country lane. Not because I always want to catch them, or do better than them, but I think it brings out the primal urge to chase and kill that we all have in us, and we all need to exercise in a non lethal way, ever now and then So now, you go, you hunt that rabbit 🙂
He said he bought his first bike, obviously not his first ride. I just bought a white r7. I'm waiting to do my class, never been on a bike. Today, I decided just to idle around our apartment complex parking lot, so I managed to get it going in 1st gear after stalling 4 times. Compared to mine, his shift is very smooth. Lots of riding experience I reckon. Nice to see what this bike is like. Enjoyed the video!
@Sgt. donny donowitz I bought my first motorcycle recently, but from a private party, not a dealership. All I did was bring the money, then I got the bike and title. To register it and get plates, all I needed to do was bring the title to the DMV check a box on a form saying it was insured, and pay taxes+fees. To get it insured and registered I didn't need my license.
@@TheBearJew175 Nah man, I got it through Progressive, they never asked. I bought my motorcycle and insured it like two weeks before I got my motorcycle license.
Nice bike. Don’t pull the clutch coasting to a stop or around turns. You loose all control over the bike. Just a tip. Also always always always check your mirrors at a light or stop. And stay over to the left at lights to let cars go past you instead of rear ending you when they’re not looking. Which is all the time.
I mean an r7 as your first motorcycle is I decent idea in my opinion I want to start out on a r3 my dream bike is a Ducati v4 r though but looks like you handled a 700cc good as your first bike congrats 🥳
@@esco7500 man I love it. Got about 4700 kilometres on it. I think the CB has a little more power than the R7. The inline 4 is smooth and sounds amazing! If you don’t mind a naked bike I would recommend that. Or if you want a fairing go with the CBR650R!
I wanna say from the hills I'm seeing that this screams Tennessee, but I've only been down there a few times to see a friend so I might be off. If it is be safe out there, those Tennessee drivers seem like they are a bit less cautious than they should be.
Yea it might be his first new bike but doesn't mean he's a beginner. The ones showing fresh off the msf class or licensing getting their first official ride are more fun and relatable. He has definitely been riding before this. He's just slower or nervous because its new.
Very cool, bro. Thinking of saving up to buy my first bike here in the UK. Thinking of buying an R3 or a Ninja 400. Unfortunately, they're too expensive here. I did the same thing when I first bought my bike (Yamaha R3). I had my friend drive behind me the whole way back! 😂
Looks a lot like a place I used to spend a lot of time in East Tennessee. Lots of beautiful roads there once you get out of town. Always assume that everyone in a car is trying to hit you.
Good luck hope you stay alive long enough to enjoy bike.
I am buying my first bike tomorrow morning, incredibly nervous and super excited!!!
That looks safe and fun(how you were riding), but very scary 😬😂.
Congratulations! 🎉
Just finished my classes last weekend, need to do dps stuff and save up for my first bike, super nervous but excited! Especially after seeing this.
Great video makes me want get one even more
Nice bike bro, Hoping to have my own R7 or Ninja zx10r soon! Ride safe have fun with your bike!
About to do the same with my new bike in 2 weeks, reaaaally nervous. Only rode a 100cc motorbike for a week before on quiet suburban streets and 2 days in a course. never been to the "open" road. Trip also gonna last 1h30m and first 30 minutes of that is gonna be trying to escape the busy downtown area. Starting on an older 25k km '12 CB400 Super four VTEC. since i got a good deal on it and it sounds mental!! Lets see how this goes
Congratulations bro great video! Ride safe out there!
Nice! Im about to get my first bike probably around summer
nice, i started on my mt07 and love that thing. congrats!
Congrats. Be safe. A lot of idiots on the roads.
he knows the camera Man never dies
What about a propper break in!?!?!?!?
Missed 3rd a couple times but a nice and easy ride home. I used to ride dirtbikes when I was younger but I'm thinking of picking up a bike for the street and this looks like a great option. I don't need to be able to do 160mph I just want to have some fun cruising
Then this is the bike for you. Obviously not 160 like a 600 but 140 is plenty and the power is so nice for the streets. I’ve ridden plenty of my buddies 600s and they left me in the dust at lights because o was giving it r7 amounts of gas and moving nowhere.
Congrats!❤
Oh I know exactly where you’re at! I bought a few bikes from those dealers.
I could sense the itch to gun it at 2:42 when you see that other biker comes around the corner and give it beans. We all get that. even after 27 years of riding, I 'give chase' when seeing another biker on a country lane. Not because I always want to catch them, or do better than them, but I think it brings out the primal urge to chase and kill that we all have in us, and we all need to exercise in a non lethal way, ever now and then
So now, you go, you hunt that rabbit 🙂
100% accurate😭
He said he bought his first bike, obviously not his first ride. I just bought a white r7. I'm waiting to do my class, never been on a bike. Today, I decided just to idle around our apartment complex parking lot, so I managed to get it going in 1st gear after stalling 4 times. Compared to mine, his shift is very smooth. Lots of riding experience I reckon. Nice to see what this bike is like. Enjoyed the video!
How did you buy a bike without a motorcycle license? Did you just not get insurance yet?
@Sgt. donny donowitz I bought my first motorcycle recently, but from a private party, not a dealership. All I did was bring the money, then I got the bike and title.
To register it and get plates, all I needed to do was bring the title to the DMV check a box on a form saying it was insured, and pay taxes+fees.
To get it insured and registered I didn't need my license.
@@HA_Horizons whatttt!? I'm almost positive you need a motorcycle license to get insurance.
@@TheBearJew175 Nah man, I got it through Progressive, they never asked. I bought my motorcycle and insured it like two weeks before I got my motorcycle license.
@@TheBearJew175 no the fuck you dont 😂😂😂😂. It makes your insurance a little cheaper if you do have it
Nice bike. Don’t pull the clutch coasting to a stop or around turns. You loose all control over the bike. Just a tip. Also always always always check your mirrors at a light or stop. And stay over to the left at lights to let cars go past you instead of rear ending you when they’re not looking. Which is all the time.
I’m watching this like why tf does everything look familiar then I realize you’re on Clinton hwy in good ol KNOXVEGAS 😂
i hope i'll have mine one day, congrats ride safe
I mean an r7 as your first motorcycle is I decent idea in my opinion I want to start out on a r3 my dream bike is a Ducati v4 r though but looks like you handled a 700cc good as your first bike congrats 🥳
Congratulations! I just bought a bike myself 😩🤗 i just recorded my experience as well 😂
Nice first bike!
Congrats and keep your head on a swivel!! Ride like you're invisible
Congrats bro. I just picked up a 2023 Honda CB650R about a month ago! Glad your loving it. Ride safe dude
How do you like it? About to get my first bike soon, and probably gonna choose between that and the R7.
Clinton Highway! Awesome!
Yea it might be his first new bike but doesn't mean he's a beginner. The ones showing fresh off the msf class or licensing getting their first official ride are more fun and relatable. He has definitely been riding before this. He's just slower or nervous because its new.
Only bike I have owned before this was a 125 pit bike no street bikes but yes I’ve ridden a bike before this but nothing close to this
That was definitely Clinton Highway and u were going thru Knoxville!
The purple color is sooooooo clean
Congrats! Enjoy it and be safe. Learn to address your need for speed on track days. 👍🏾
Rich man sport tbh empty highways are safe enough
@@AvgGio safe enough to do what? And where do they have completely empty highways? 😂
Very cool, bro. Thinking of saving up to buy my first bike here in the UK. Thinking of buying an R3 or a Ninja 400. Unfortunately, they're too expensive here. Would anyone recommend buying a used and an older model of any of the 2 bikes that has 10k+ miles on it, or is it a must to buy a newer model?
amazing bike
Just realized that you're close to south Knoxville I always see that crown vic at 3:04
Yea lmao. That was Clinton hwy
great first bike
That’s a nice bike man.
A few weeks ago I brought home a new bike from a Suzuki dealership.... I picked up a GSX-R750 (red rim scheme)
Lol I just realized that street and dealership I live 6 mins away from that!
Practice my guy. Don’t go leaning into corner without knowing how to lean into corners. And wear your gear.
(The corners advice isn’t just for corners, I mean get some experience on riding and then have fun)
