Congrats. Was excited to watch the video & then when I checked your page & seen you also play tarkov I was even more intrigued to watch the video 😂. No way you play tarkov & also want to learn how to ride what are the chances
Happy to hear you stuck with it. When I took my test they was about 15 of us there. One guy went first because he was going to a wedding later that day. He was on a borrowed bike that was way to big for a beginner. I would swear that he failed but the instructor said he passed. I wonder sometimes if I pass him around town, and hope he is safer than he looked during the test.
My wife failed the driving test and bruised herself. She told me she was done. A week later she passed her second test, not even telling me she was going to redo it. Super proud of her!
Small Update: I took the state test today and to my surprise I failed. First of all the DMV tester was extremely rude and didn't explain what we had to do. All he said was "line up on the T, ok, Go". Like wtf go where bro, I just sat there and he said "do you not know what you're doing? Did they not teach you this, why should I have to tell you this". He then reluctantly explains it. Our instructors had told us that during the U-turn you will get 1 point if you put your foot down and 1 point if you go outside the line. During the test I had a bad U-turn and I was about to put my foot down and was gonna cross the line as well. So instead of doing both and getting 2 points I went a little wide and only got a point for going outside the line. But what happened next completely shocked me. The DMV tester said "you're done". Meaning the whole test. I failed instantly for crossing the line. Despite the MSF instructors telling me to either put a foot down or cross the line just don't do both. Right after the test I went and talked to one of the coaches from the MSF course about it and he said that crossing the line is NOT an instant disqualification. I'm super pissed about this but luckily the Harley Dealership is on my side and they are talking to the state trying to get the guy fired, because I wasn't the first nor the last person he did this to today. Now I have to wait until June 17th to retake it. Completely Stupid.
In my state you just take the msf course at harley davidson and do the written there also. Turn in the endorsement card they give you to the dmv and then they will give you a new license
@@YouT860 I’m pretty sure that the test I failed is kind of like the last part of the MSF course. It’s not the exact same as the normal dmv test (close but it’s shorter). And I’m pretty sure passing that makes it so you don’t have to pass the one at the dmv. Honestly I’m not too sure cuz I have a MSF completion card.
Anybody that sees this video and enjoys it, I just want to let you know that I have gotten a Mic and Filters for the GoPro and plan to make moto-vlogging content once I get my license. It would mean a lot if you Subscribed!!!

I did the msf course through the state 5 years ago and failed and I also dumped the bike, well I flew over the handlebars. So after that I didn’t get back on a bike again until last year when my best friend told me to ride his bike. I was hesitant at first because of what happened to me but I finally agreed and was amazed that I did it. And after I got back home to Michigan, I signed up for the H-D Riding Academy took it august 20th, 2022. And it was amazing! The class was small, the instructor was friendly and patient and he really wanted you to pass. So on the day of the final test. We did the questionnaire first which was 30 questions for which I got 100% then we went out on the bike, did few warmups followed by some new and improved lessons before we did the evaluation. By the end I walked away with a score of 7! And next month I will finally be getting my first Harley! I can’t wait
Just took and passed my MSF course! Did it at our Harley dealer and we were on their Street 500 (with limiters in 1st and 2nd gear) and it was a ton of fun. True beginner as well and I had a blast. If anyone is nervous about it, that’s totally normal. My instructors were very informative, helpful, and encouraging. They’ll explain the drills, and then demo them, and then the class will do it. Just have an open mind and ask questions! Good luck everyone!
Like many others, just took and passed the entry MSF. Biggest tips to anyone is to LOOK where you’re going, and if you feel like you’re about to put your foot down in a turn then give it some speed. 🏍️💨
I'm an experienced rider but really enjoyed watching this. Back when I passed the MC riding check (in California) you just had to do some low speed parking lot turns between cones. I wish it were a little more like the EU now in the US, there'd be fewer new rider fatalities and fewer people giving up riding because they deemed it too dangerous. I hope you have a long and riding career. There's nothing else like it.
I agree completely with you about the EU and US differences. While I am glad I don't have to wait to get a bigger bike, it definitely would save lives by having people actually learn on a bike that they can control better. Although making people start on like a 125 is crazy, maybe like 300 or 400cc.
@@lemon15960 You don't really have to start on 125cc, but it's an age thing. 16-year olds have a limit of 125, 18-year olds have a limit on 35 kw (about 400-500 cc), but some bikes like mt07 could come with a power-limited version. No limitations comes in when you turn 24 or you have had A2 license (18-year olds) for at least 2 years. The license process is somewhat similar for all classes, but to upgrade to a higher class you need a "short" extension-course + what your previous course didn't include. 11 hours total for A1(125) to A2 and 7 hours for A2 to A(no limit), but no need for another practical test. As a 32-year old man i have just started on the course for an A-license and can have an 1300cc as my first bike, but i wont. Safety also comes at a price. Obligatory lessons is about 2500$ USD(Norway), and that is if i am the perfect student and basically ace everything.
Leading cause of motorcycle fatalities are head ons and usually at intersections from left turning cagers not paying attention. Intersections are more dangerous than hauling ass on a normal traffic laden freeway. Wide turns are a very common motorcycle accident BUT you can have too much entry speed on ANY bike. Not the fast ones. Starting on a big bike didn’t mean you’ll wreck. It DOES mean you need to be very respectful of the machine you’re sitting on. I started on a 2023 MT-09 and had that thing fully modded and tuned within a four months. Thing was a blast and went to my current bike I have now a little more than year later. Both bikes are dangerous but I could get into the same trouble on a Duke 250.
Looking good! Just remember we aren't born with this knowledge, we need to learn it. Been riding for 25 years, I still go play in a parking lot and practice the basics occasionally.
Good luck with your test next week! A similar thing happened to me in my MSF course. The instructors were very rude and would blatantly talk crap about the riders in the BEGINNER course struggling with skills they barely explained. Failed my first test (3/7 failed) but the instructor for my retake was absolutely splendid. Gave us time to try out the exercises for the test and was willing to explain exactly what was expected for each exercise and how the grading worked. I messed up my U-turn again but without a way to practice without a license who wouldn't? Everyone in my class and in the retake struggled with the U-turn so you're not alone there. Believe in yourself and don't forget to breathe! Looking forward to seeing some vlog content in the future!
Im going through the Harley Davidson course not msf although I did have to take the online of msf course 3 hours of just videos and multiple choice test.. the hands on I start in August. The lady at Harley Davidson that’s in charge of the riding training program told me once I complete the course n I pass the course (3 days 20 hour course) that it exempts the writing knowledge test and the driving course after I finish the course n paperwork to show the bmv that I took the 20 hour course do they automatically put the endorsement on my license without the driving test and written? Any help would be appreciated thanks. Thanks for sharing this video at least now I kinda know what to expect.
@@mercurysimple3850 so the Harley course is the Msf course they are just the ones conducting it. It waivers the dmv tests but they will give you their own test usually on the 3rd day (for me it was a week later) the test thru Msf isn’t quite as hard as the dmv test especially if the person running the test isn’t a diqhead.
@@lemon15960 that makes sense thank you I really appreciate it. New follower. And btw I bought my motorcycle couple weeks ago .. and I just picked it up in Indianapolis. Triumph bobber 2020. I know it's putting the cart before the horse but what the heck . At least I'll have it to ride after I pass. And good luck on your journey. New sub!!
I remember the MSF course, it was so much fun, even though I happened to take it the 2 hottest days of the summer. I recommend it to everyone. My instructors were great and everyone passed.
Reading some of the comments, I think this is not a real MSF course but rather a Harley Davidson's once, hence why OP had to do the DMV test instead of showing a real MSF card to get the endorsement automatically, this would also explain the newer bikes. I also had like a 20 yo dual purpose bike with the worst shifter 😂.
Old comment but good info for new viewers: When I took the course (at this location) yes you weren't just given the MSF card to bring to the DMV, but they had signups for the test, where 2 official reps came out to the dealer and tested us in the rear lot (not the one in this video). It was a few days after the final practice day and there were 2 separate times you could sign up for - both in the morning. You then got a pass/fail from them and assuming you passed it was basically the same as the card, just go to the DMV with your form and you'll walk out with your temp and your M class.
When I did my MSF in Texas about 10 months ago at the end they gave us a riding exam, and if you pass it, that it. You have your license after paying the fees at the DMV.
My class had 3 leave. (Still had the street 500 as a class bike) The 2 were husband and wife. She gave up after doing the duck walk. He was hurt while doing the high speed perimeter manage to flip the bike on its side. The 3rd hope he passed later. Had to leave before the final test for a family emergency. I passed but I was only marked for when we did the high speed stop didint grab the clutch and it died. Rode a scoot and the left side was for the rear brakes. I did get a reward for best high speed maneuvers in the snake lanes. Best time to do it depending on where you live is in the fall. It rained on the 2nd day before the final test, got me worried cause I laid my scoots in the rain while crossing a white stripe line.
So far I have done 6 hrs of figure eights and other slow maneuvers on smaller bikes, and 2 hours on my Harley today. Felt good going through the gears. U turns were a lot harder on a bigger bike.
Thanks for the video! I'm looking to learn the ropes and seeing how it's done brings my worries about eventually getting my license down a lot. I hope this vid finds it's way through the algorithm to lots of future riders like myself!
Here's a tip that may help with dmv type tests. Use a light small displacement motorcycle. The dual sport bikes seem to work best. They are easy to maneuver at low speeds. Also focus on your desired path.
Keep in mind, depending on who you do your testing with, if you can't keep up with the rest of the group on an exercise, you will be told to leave the "class" right then and there, and you will lose your money. Most schools offer no refunds, even if you are told to leave on exercise 4 of 15 on day 1 of 2. The MSF is a guided test, not an actual training course. They are there, for the most part, to take you through just a couple of practice runs on each exercise until the test. If you fall behind the group on any exercise or can't quite get it right after a couple of tries once they've shown you the exercise, you're out. You forfeit your money and will have to pay once again to take the whole "course" again. If you can, you are better off learning the basics on your own, and once you can ride a motorcycle go take the MSF. Then it will be worth it and no chance to lose your money.
i got my endorsment in 1976 gave up riding in 1996 because of family life happens. was also expert mottocross rider. time went by and i retired 2022 decided to ride again at the young age of 62 took the coarse at harley as a refresher didnt have to but was glad i did being off a bike for 26 years and i must say the instructors at harley were great and knowing my back ground made it really fun for me. i cant thank them enougth what fun. very good people listen and learn they know their stuff ! 64 now and ride almost every day with a big smile.
@@jamescampbell1743 It was great! I only got one point marked off on the eval because literally the only time i stalled the bike all weekend was in the sharp right turn before the u-turn and i had to put my foot down. I had a blast. It was a small class(only six) probably because it was a holiday weekend. Thanks for asking.
No way! I did the MSF course at this same Harley dealer in April, great to see the lot and the bikes again! I'm 6'3" and those side guards killed my knees!! Much different than a Harley but I'm riding an R7 now. Thanks for the upload!

@@chymous honestly the best thing I can recommend is that you go to a dealership and sit on the bikes. However I’m pretty sure you would be fine on either of those bikes but it’s always best to actually try it.
I had to drop out of my MSF Course this weekend due to heat exhaustion. I'm super jealous of you. Gonna try again in a couple months when it isn't 95 degrees before the sun comes up.
california when i did mine it was over 100 . last month.. we were all super hot but they had water for us.. next time bring ice water in a small cooler.. maybe the heat mixed up with being nervous got you
🫡 I truly appreciate you sharing your time and energy creating this content. Beginner myself, looking to enroll in a course this summer. I salute you!!
Bout to take mine in 3 weeks. Just got my first bike 2024 vulcan s cafe abs. I already went to the dmv and took the written to get my permit. Now I just need the MSF course to get my endorsement. But I got the bike and can practice at home either way.
I ended up dumping the bike on the last exercise before the test. The front brake locked up going about 20mph! I complained about it twice to the instructor, but the instructor said I was applying too much pressure. The bike had evidence of being dropped several times. I have 2 fractured ribs and a few bruises. The school has failed to comment if I can finish the course since I passed the online and written portions. So undecided if I should just stick to 4 wheels.
Really cool course and well done! Noticed when you looked down at your shoes though that your laces were out. Try tucking them into the shoe, to prevent that they catch on something though. Too much things around the feet they might catch on, and it might end up very badly. Edit: A bit further in, when you did more slow stuff like slalom through the cones etc. I noticed that you're kinda jerky, and vary your speed quite a bit. Try keeping the throttle just opened, and compensate with smooth movements on the rear brake. You can clutch too of course if your RPM gets too low, but that's the thing you are trying to avoid with the rear brake, in addition to the smoother ride and added control - as you can keep RPM up at a level where you won't stall. I would say rear brake is your main tool in slow speed maneuvering. Also always have two fingers on the front brake and the clutch, especially in these low speeds. I never take them off unless I am cruising at highway speeds or the likes. If you have to reach out to the levers, you run a high risk of overdoing it because your mind knows you are already late.
Yea during the slow stuff I would definitely pull my clutch in a let off the throttle then would lose all my speed and have to use the throttle which is why it was jerky. But with the front brake they said they didn't want us to have our hands on it while turning, they took off points for doing it.
I just took the same course same place haha last week and I was nervous as hell but I passed the class and the dmv happiest day of my life. Hope to see you around.
seeing this as i am also planning to do a motorcycle license, i am scared but not scared at the same time, atleast i get to know what to expect. Great video also congrats on passing the test, stay safe!
Yea honestly for the first test I want nervous at all. I felt really comfortable riding but they still failed me. So the second test I was extremely nervous.
To anyone about to take this course, trust me when I say this, second gear is your best friend! but, only use it for the longer more speedy exercises. It would be so smoothed and overall easier to do anything like throttle control so you wont jerk like you do in first when the clutch is released. Also since the bikes are really slow, you will be at the top of first almost instantly.

I took the first class in 2024 in Alamogordo NM. The class wae great and everyone passed. In NM you just take your card to the MVD and get the endorsement added to your license.
you still have to take the test after taking the MSF? in my state taking the msf gives you a waiver so you can just show your certificate of completion and they give you your license
“M” endorsement was easy , try getting that “A” with your examiner next to you in the passenger seat giving instructions and his breath smells like a cat box, while trying to dbl clutch in a 10 speed tractor trailer “ after the school taught us and had us FLOAT, the gears” to the OP, don’t worry about my man, you’ll get it!!!
Class A was also easy. At least the driving portion. They tried to fuck me on the precheck, that shit was long af going through the whole truck and trailer.
I passed this course about 2 weeks ago. Ngl I almost failed. Was allowed 16 total point and I had 13. Most were just because I accelerated too slow apperantly.
My motorcycle test was drive around the parking lot once and if you don’t fall down, you passed.. Actually was told that because he didn’t know anything about motorcycles..
Congrats dude, i took mine a few weeks ago, it felt like bootcamp for motorcycles, stuck it through and i thought I failed, but amazingly enough, passed and now im about to make time for my dmv test!
im taking my MSF with H-D on june 19-21... here in texas you pass that you get your license basically... but ive been riding motorcycles for the better part of 34 years first time getting my endorsement should be a cake walk for me from what ive seen... didnt look very hard...
@@angelusmortis3256 someone else commented asking if they would be able to hear the coaches cuz they are hard of hearing and I recommended them to wear glasses so that you can have your visor up when on the bikes. Really recommend this!
Going to college and working is tuff I only have Fridays off. I was wondering how many days is it? I heard from a video that it’s a 2day course so I’m wondering if that’s the case
Ive been trying to figure out where i can get my motorcycle license. Only problem is im a bit of a hefty fella at 300 pounds and dont want to be disqualified instantly over weight. Im closer to mid - upper illinois, if you have any suggestions
So in the video you can see that there is also quite the hefty female in our class, they gave her a different bike to ride cuz she asked for it. This was at Conrad’s Harley near Joliet. I don’t think they would disqualify you for that reason, only if you were unable to ride properly because of it. (I used to be 300 lbs and I don’t see why I wouldn’t have been able to ride.) just make sure to ask.
So question when you take a course do you not get your motorcycle license at the place? Do you have to go to the DMV after the course? And by any chance what’s the name of the MSF course you took? And how much? I been trying to find one (Also in Chicago, Illinois)
So I did it at Conrad’s Harley in Joliet and after the 3rd day you take a test for the course. If you pass then you wait like a week and go back to get tested at the dealership by a dmv employee and if you pass that you go to the dmv and get the m on your license
Wait, in Illinois you still have to take the test after you took the MSF? Where I live if you pass the MSF it takes the place of the test. In any case, congratulations, it looks fun and scary at the same time.
No. I live in IL and finally decided to get my class M after riding for 15 years. Once you pass the MSF course you get a card and give that to the DMV and you get it. I live in Alton, IL and took the class last year.
its hard to tell from the perspective, but i think you should work on leaning the bike more for sharp turns. good job tho, that dmv tester was a d0uche bag ngl.
this is so confusing... why they don't use normal cones just some nipples you barely can see In my country to get full motorcycle license you need to do 20h of riding school (pick one on the market), pass national driving theory exam and then you're allowed to participate in national practical riding exam... but there are very specific and well described manoeuvrers with clear rules they teach you in riding school and when you pass that then you're out on a street ride with examiner asking you to do things on road. There is like a huge list of things you must do and you're graded pass or fail on each one (to fail whole exam you need to fail just one thing) It's very easy to fail (stalling, hitting a cone or crossing white line is instant fail) but at least it makes sense than this. Riding a bike is fun AF... and stressful
@@milanavr I failed the written exam 💀 I CAN RIDE THO, riding illegally rn but I’m gonna take the dmv written test next week to get a permit until I familiarize myself with my own bike to take the course

I would just say to make sure to really focus on what you do wrong in the course. If you turn and it’s too wide then really focus on what you are doing wrong. A lot of people in my class would just make the same mistake over and over. Also bring water and food.
Taking the msf course as well, something i noticed I got problems with is letting the clutch out of the friction zone before the bike gets rolling and i stall. Anyone have advice for me?
Honestly the best way to fix that is to practice, I had never even ridden a bike before the course and I don’t stall at all after taking it. They do a pretty good job teaching you.
Hi i wanna say someting about motorcycle driving test. Can I take the motorcycle driving test with a Yamaha Xmax? Does it have to have a clutch? I have never used a motorcycle with a clutch before. Can you please inform me? Thank you.
Wait, I thought if you take a MSF course at Harley and they pass you that you don’t need to take a test at the DMV? I thought it says you just go to DMV to get your license only.
I'm 17 as of now and really looking forward to taking the MSF course when I turn 18. The thing is, I'm a bit nervous cause I know everyone in my class is gonna be a lot older than me. Any tips for a young wannabe-rider?
I was a little nervous for the same reason as I am only 18 years old. Try not to even think about it in my class there were a few in their young 20's and only a couple older people. Everyone was extremely nice.
@@lemon15960 Thank you, its good to know that there are people like me taking the course. Everyone in my town who rides motorcycles is like in their 50s lmao. Good luck on your retake man
Driving instructors are always so authoritative and seemingly power hungery. "Could have sworn I said nice and easy" Well thats not a very good definition is it? Maybe say keep it under 15 or something. Or just tell them to slow it down a bit. No need to be passive aggressive.
@@lemon15960 at that point he was referring to your aggressive acceleration. Your confusion on where to go would logically have made you go slower, not faster.. so that logic simply does not compute. I agree that it was unnecessarily passive aggressive of the instructor, but in the end he was right. Don't let frustrations being in the way of listening. If you refuse good advice because it is said in a bad way, then you refuse your own safety as you then just ignore it like a toddler and apply your own bad behavior instead once you're out of there, too (i.e. in real traffic). Nothing is going to humble you more on a bike than ego.
At a Harley dealer it is anywhere from $200-$350 but there are other places you can take it too. If you look up Msf courses near me on google and look you can probably find a college that offers it for free or for cheap
@@lemon15960 my new understanding is that passing this course doesn’t require a riding test at the DMV, but that you still need to show up on a different date when someone from the DMV is present and do the test again?
NEW UPDATE: I PASSED!!!
Congratulations I’m trying to get started with the MSF course soon and I’m brand new to motorcycles so I guess let’s see how good Big Apple is

Women like her are gems!! Respect her bro! That's awesome.

Good to know that they’re tryna get the instructor fired, I would be pissed af if that happened to me too but I hope you pass on your next MSF course.
Wya in Texas you take the msf course you just go to the DMV and get your endorsement.
All I had to do was the MSF and computer test at the DMV after luckily. Don't sweat it. You'll get it then next go.
Honestly I’m not too sure cuz I have a MSF completion card.
so manny stripes and things on the ground im getting confused. i would not know where the heck i'm supposed to ride🤣💀
Can be confusing at first but the coach usually does a run through on a bike so you understand fully.
It's also a lot more intuitive with the extra depth perception you don't get in camera footage I think.
are they supposed to use the blue lines ?
thats what i was thinking
Anybody that sees this video and enjoys it, I just want to let you know that I have gotten a Mic and Filters for the GoPro and plan to make moto-vlogging content once I get my license. It would mean a lot if you Subscribed!!!

@@makingmoves6741 Appreciate the sub! I just took the test for the 3rd time today and thank the heavens I passed. You got this!
Sweet, man. I'm taking the course this August. I can't wait.

Yup it definitely is a lot easier on the street then on the test aswell cuz there is so many things on the ground to distract you.
I gave up riding after 30 years because everyone is distracted on their smartphones and everyday I was almost being killed
Looking forward to seeing some vlog content in the future!
im afraid im gonna hold everyone up or get kicked out because i don't even know how to shift yet
lets goo dude. got my msf course this weekend and the test is the weekend after that. I'm so hyped
Good luck dude the course is very straightforward they teach you everything you need to know. The test is just what they teach
It waivers the dmv tests but they will give you their own test usually on the 3rd day (for me it was a week later) the test thru Msf isn’t quite as hard as the dmv test especially if the person running the test isn’t a diqhead.

best of luck on the test. im looking forward to taking the MSF later this year.
Preciate it it’s on the 28th I should do just fine I’m decently confident
Damn those are some clean ass MSF bikes. I think I had a 20 year old V-Star 250 in my class.
Old comment but good info for new viewers:
When I took the course (at this location) yes you weren't just given the MSF card to bring to the DMV, but they had signups for the test, where 2 official reps came out to the dealer and tested us in the rear lot (not the one in this video). It was a few days after the final practice day and there were 2 separate times you could sign up for - both in the morning.
You then got a pass/fail from them and assuming you passed it was basically the same as the card, just go to the DMV with your form and you'll walk out with your temp and your M class.
I take my MSF course soon, and I was pretty scared, but watching this has given me the confidence and relieved me of all my worries!
u got it
Being leader for those runs must have been intimidating lol
at first yea! But after a bit I got used to it
When I did my MSF in Texas about 10 months ago at the end they gave us a riding exam, and if you pass it, that it. You have your license after paying the fees at the DMV.
Here in Thailand kids start riding 110cc hondas when they're 10, without any license or test.
@@madmax43v3r That's crazy
My class had 3 leave. (Still had the street 500 as a class bike)
The 2 were husband and wife.
Then it will be worth it and no chance to lose your money.
wow what a brave brave person you are! very good job at taking charge and leading everyone!!!
Thanks for the video! I’m currently in the class at this location right now!!

Ik ur feeling defeated but if riding is something you enjoy then stick to it. You got it.
Passed my MSF course first try too.... The stress was the worst never wanna do a course again!!!! Lol
Yea, I was so nervous I had to watch so many before me fail that really added to the stress.
I got BRC this weekend up here in Alaska. Hopefully all goes well and next week get my license and finally be able to ride my bike on base
I just took the same course same place haha last week and I was nervous as hell but I passed the class and the dmv happiest day of my life. Hope to see you around.

Really interesting to see how the training goes in other countries.
Took my course in GA and was able to get my license once I passed
Yeah I failed it rained the entire day and the instructors where not the nicest. All the lines and cones really messed me up with not sure were to go.
We both failed, but that’s alright because we just gotta take it again and pass.
Hey I just took the MSF course in Colorado and I failed the test my first time, but passed the second. I think you picked it up faster than I did!

I will move on , gotta move on , as the song says. the bacon is so inspirational , it shares it vast wisdom with all of us , and we are all so lucky that it would bestow it's great words with us. we are all children on bacon. hail bacon. hail bacon. The spinning bacon, rotating in one direction with this music... This made me tear up. How could such a bacon do such a thing? I'm struck by awe by this masterpiece. Especially when the bacon spins, showing its lightly salt covered tan skin. I can hear the crunch just from here, and so as the beautiful sound of the bacon scraping the dark, smooth velvet floor. The flavor, music and everything can be heard, tasted, seen and felt from a screen. You can really hear the breaths between the music artist, empathizing her love for this rotating bacon. Truly what I call modern art. This was the most legendary performance by any bacon I have ever watched. The acting was top tier and very life changing. This is one of the greatest work from a piece of bacon I have ever seen especially on 57:42. I am crying. This has made me go through an emotional rollercoaster. I cried, beat off, and also watched a movie while watching this premiere. This has made me go through so much. I passed depression because of this. It really inspired me to become an outstanding young man. Thank you.
I went to go get my license once after getting my permit, it was me and another guy and and 7am and the guy didn’t want to be there so he put the cones in a straight line and maybe three feet apart ( maybe a bit closer) and told us to weave in and out of them and still stay about six inches of cones , my tires touched of it two comes before I could even start to lean for the next, it was bs
DMV workers hate their life only like 1/5 of them actually care
I can’t wait for when I take the course!
Good luck!
Passed the MSF course and then was invited 2 weeks later for the state exam. Went in cold turkey since I don't own a bike yet and ended up failing 😔
Don’t worry I failed it twice and passed on the third attempt. The U-turn gets most people
@@lemon15960any tips on the u turn or tips in general ? i take mine next week and just want to be prepared as possible lol
Thank god we have to take msf and thats it
I took the first class in 2024 in Alamogordo NM. The class wae great and everyone passed. In NM you just take your card to the MVD and get the endorsement added to your license.
you still have to take the test after taking the MSF? in my state taking the msf gives you a waiver so you can just show your certificate of completion and they give you your license
yea we do I live in Illinois they give you a waiver which lets you take the test and get discount on insurance
the test is the last part of any MSF course
@@ChadCarney-hu3duhe's talking about the dmv
Most were just because I accelerated too slow apperantly.
they didnt tell me how many points I got but I think I only messed up on the uturn, went slightly out of the line.
My motorcycle test was drive around the parking lot once and if you don’t fall down, you passed.. Actually was told that because he didn’t know anything about motorcycles..
I literally just finished my course earlier today
Congrats dude, i took mine a few weeks ago, it felt like bootcamp for motorcycles, stuck it through and i thought I failed, but amazingly enough, passed and now im about to make time for my dmv test!
Thanks and Good shit bro have fun
The huge training cages are hilarious
Taking mine later this week have no idea what I’m getting my self into would it be a good idea to practice with my bicycle for now 😂
As long as u can ride a bicycle well you’ll be fine. Good luck. Don’t be stressed it was easy and fun
im taking my MSF with H-D on june 19-21... here in texas you pass that you get your license basically... but ive been riding motorcycles for the better part of 34 years first time getting my endorsement should be a cake walk for me from what ive seen... didnt look very hard...
Just make sure you know exactly what to do for the test cuz they don’t explain very well. Ask questions before you go.
@@lemon15960 oh i will im half deaf as it is so im gonna annoy them real quick
@@angelusmortis3256 someone else commented asking if they would be able to hear the coaches cuz they are hard of hearing and I recommended them to wear glasses so that you can have your visor up when on the bikes. Really recommend this!
congrats on passing! i bet riding is super fun
It is! Even 3 months after starting I still ride 3+ days a week
Strange, most MSF classes if you have your permit and pay your license fees, you can take the test and pass with them instead of going to the state.
This makes me so hyped to get signed up for the class!!
sign up early cuz the spots are already filled at a lot of places
Going to college and working is tuff I only have Fridays off. I was wondering how many days is it? I heard from a video that it’s a 2day course so I’m wondering if that’s the case
It’s a 3 day course first day is inside then the next 2 days u ride
congratulations on passing!!
Thank you
Ive been trying to figure out where i can get my motorcycle license.
(I used to be 300 lbs and I don’t see why I wouldn’t have been able to ride.) just make sure to ask.
wtf why aren't these HDs in the US?
You don’t want them the throttle absolutely blows.
Those were some nice bikes to learn on
For sure!
Good stuff brother
Appreciate it
Good luck. Hopefully the stealership rep will do you proper.
🤞
So question when you take a course do you not get your motorcycle license at the place? Do you have to go to the DMV after the course? And by any chance what’s the name of the MSF course you took? And how much? I been trying to find one (Also in Chicago, Illinois)
So I did it at Conrad’s Harley in Joliet and after the 3rd day you take a test for the course. If you pass then you wait like a week and go back to get tested at the dealership by a dmv employee and if you pass that you go to the dmv and get the m on your license
So test on third day then test again a week later for dmv
Weird, if you take the course where I am, you don’t have to take the DMV test
Wait, in Illinois you still have to take the test after you took the MSF? Where I live if you pass the MSF it takes the place of the test. In any case, congratulations, it looks fun and scary at the same time.
Yea I still never quite found that out. Thankfully I passed the test on the 3rd try and didn’t have to find out the hard way! 😅
No. I live in IL and finally decided to get my class M after riding for 15 years. Once you pass the MSF course you get a card and give that to the DMV and you get it. I live in Alton, IL and took the class last year.
Am I the only one who thought those was oppressers from gta
its hard to tell from the perspective, but i think you should work on leaning the bike more for sharp turns. good job tho, that dmv tester was a d0uche bag ngl.
He was really strict about the little things during the riding but overall he was nice
this is so confusing... why they don't use normal cones just some nipples you barely can see
In my country to get full motorcycle license you need to do 20h of riding school (pick one on the market), pass national driving theory exam and then you're allowed to participate in national practical riding exam... but there are very specific and well described manoeuvrers with clear rules they teach you in riding school and when you pass that then you're out on a street ride with examiner asking you to do things on road. There is like a huge list of things you must do and you're graded pass or fail on each one (to fail whole exam you need to fail just one thing)
It's very easy to fail (stalling, hitting a cone or crossing white line is instant fail) but at least it makes sense than this.
Riding a bike is fun AF... and stressful
Yea it is almost just as easy to fail here. But the fact that they make it so confusing adds on to the difficulty for sure.
I’m taking this in 2 weeks and I’m so excited. I better pass because I already bought a bike 😭
I did the same shit
hey its been 2 weeks, hope you pass!
@@milanavr I failed the written exam 💀 I CAN RIDE THO, riding illegally rn but I’m gonna take the dmv written test next week to get a permit until I familiarize myself with my own bike to take the course
@@Kayliflower02 oh alright, good luck
@lemon15960 where in Illinois are you? I’m in northern IL, & always looking for new people to ride with. Also pretty interested in moto-vlogging, but no real practical experience. That dealership looks really similar to my local one…
@lemon15960, sent you an email, I think. Check spam just in case, haha.
I live in Joliet, the dealership was Conrad’s Harley in Shorewood
Maybe we can ride sometime, right now though I’m doing a lot of stuff for school and bouta start college so I won’t be riding too much 😢
@@lemon15960 if we can find a day, you pick a course (I don’t know the area well), & I’ll come out to you. Joliet’s about 2 hours for me.
This the conrads harley in shorewood?
Yep
Looks fun 🎉❤
It was!
Congratulations man I’m looking at doing this exact course any advice you can give me?
I’m in Missouri though not ILLINOIS
Thank you.
Where's the location of this place so I can do it?
Conrad’s Harley Davidson I think it’s in Shorewood illinois
i thought the msf course is how you can get your mc license
They should do this in IL
This is in Illinois. It’s at Conrad’s Harley Davidson near Joliet. There are tons in Illinois.
Is it worth doing or should I learn on my own in an empty parking lot practicing similar moves ?
You in Chicago? I just scheduled for August.. can't wait
Joliet. good luck!
Good luck on your retake man
Where at in illinois is this course?
Conrad’s Harley Davidson in Shorewood Illinois
Damn civilian msf course look like they really care about they're bike military course we get beaten to hell vstars
Driving instructors are always so authoritative and seemingly power hungery. "Could have sworn I said nice and easy" Well thats not a very good definition is it? Maybe say keep it under 15 or something. Or just tell them to slow it down a bit. No need to be passive aggressive.
Yea I agree, also he waited until I was super close to tell me which T to go to or I wouldn’t have had to swerve into the T like that.
There were a few other times they were like that too but I cut them out 😂
@@lemon15960 at that point he was referring to your aggressive acceleration.
I think they have to be, this is a scenario where you must be in control for everyone's safety.
how much is the msf course test? or how much is the training?
At a Harley dealer it is anywhere from $200-$350 but there are other places you can take it too. If you look up Msf courses near me on google and look you can probably find a college that offers it for free or for cheap
@@lemon15960 they provide the motorcycles and you have to just get riding gear? you have to have a helmet and what else?
@@lemon15960 damn free?! they give those motorcycle lessons for free?!
In California the course is $425. I thought about taking it in another state that's cheaper, but then my California DMV test wouldn't be waived.

Nope this is in Shorewood at Conrad’s Harley Davidson
Was it hard? I have my classes scheduled at the end of October. I’m nervous ash lol
Why do they pretend bikes are supposed to go so damn slow. Those bikes look hideous too.
Yea and we can’t even practice for it either. The bikes also have the shittiest throttles known to man
Seen brother. Good luck whatever dumbass course dudes you gotta deal with! Rude and lame af.
I passed mine 3 days ago
Good shit!
just want to ask, what bike cc is this? sounds like an mt07 or something like a 4-cylinder bike. For a beginner riding a high cc bike is crazy imo
They weren’t high CC. I think they were 300-400 they told us but I forgot. They aren’t bikes that are for sale they make them just for the course
If you take and pass this course, do you still need to take a test at the DMV?
Nope
@@lemon15960 my new understanding is that passing this course doesn’t require a riding test at the DMV, but that you still need to show up on a different date when someone from the DMV is present and do the test again?
Omg I hated those bikes so much lolol.
