    3. Choose your destination for boat tour (Ninh Binh, Tam Coc, Trang An)

Hi Monica. Magic .. Im staying in Tam Coc/ Ninh Binh for 4 nights. Looking forward to visiting the 3 rivers and Dragon Mountain. Is there anything else you would recommend?
How long is it by bicycle from Tam coc to the rivers or should I get a Scooter.
Thanks for your time and efforts in sharing your experience.. John

      Hello John!
You are going to enjoy Ninh Bin a lot! I promise you that.
      Here is what I did.
I rent a homestay not in the city centre as I want to have peace.
Prepare one day to go to Dragon Mountain. To do it, I rented a scooter. Was more comfortable. And definitely faster.
You can go by scooter to see Bai Dinh Pagoda like your 2nd day.
3rd day I would recommend Trang An boat tour.
4th day I would spend to cycle around Ninh Bin. But definitely by bike. It is a lot of fun, and you can admire landscape instead of being focused on driving .
And again, all depends on where you are going to book your homestay. Check with them if they have rental options like bike and motorbike.!
If you have more questions ask! ❤️❤️

Hiya. Thanks for the reply. I appreciate your comments. I have been looking at more videos. I know have a bigger list of what to see. Yes I will hire a scooter mainly because I want to see so much. I thought about a bike on the last day.
      My trip is as follows.
London to Hanoi 3 nights. Arrive Hanoi 5 pm go out to the market. Next day to Ha Long Bay. Next day see Hanoi.
To Tam Cov arrive around 2 pm. Perhaps do Trang am.
Next day Co Do Hoalu. Then to Chua Bai Ding. Next day
Dragon mountain and Von long. Next day Mau Caves and mountain.
Next day go on a bike and cycle. Can you recommend a route to cycle. Next day to Da msg arrive around mid afternoon for 4 nights. Bana Hills. Hue. Magic mountain. Lady Buddha. Next day to Hoi Ann 1 night. Next day back to Hanoi to go back to London.
I think I will be on the go from arriving to leaving.
Thanks for your videos. Keep in touch..John

Why travel all the way back to Hanoi, just to board the flight. Why not take your return flight from Da nang.
It's just my suggestion to save money and time.

Hi! I'm going to Ninh Binh soon and am planning to cycle around the area! Are there bicycle stations at the main sites (Bich Dong Pagoda, Mua Cave, Boat tour etc.)?

    • @uncomplicated_life_

Hey there! Great choice! You will have a lot of fun cycling! Yes, you have available space to park your bike. Make sure you have a bike lock. And cash to pay for parking! Enjoy! 😊

You're saying that Tran An boat ride lasted three hours? Did your back hurt sitting for so long? Could you stand while on the boat? And, if you had to go, can you pee right on the side of the boat?

    • @uncomplicated_life_
      @uncomplicated_life_  8 месяцев назад +1

      Thank you for your questions!
      1) Yes, it was more or less 3 hours.
      2) My back didn't hurt me because you can move while on the boat. Of course, it depends on how many ppl are with you. More ppl less movement for you.
3)I could stand but only for a few minutes and only when the tour guide allowed me to do it. Otherwise, you cannot.
      4) You cannot pee on the side of the boat. That would be disrespectful for the place, for the tour guide and other ppl around you. You will have stops to see pagodas/temples so you will have a chance to pee without disturbing others.
      I hope that helped! 🙏

Hello Lovely ppl from Australia! Thank you for your response.
Everything depends on which tour you want to take and what you want to do. Don't stress about accommodation, you can always take a taxi to Tam coc or rent a bike/motorbike. You always have options. I was cycling around. 🚲
I hope that helped you! ❤️

What’s the name of the tickets place to buy boat tour? Thanks.

I don't really remember the proper name of the ticket office. I ve tried to find it on the map. But I found a coffee shop near to the ticket office where I got my coffee before the tour. The name of the shop is 'May Cafe & Bakery Flagship' . Is not far from the parking too where I park the scooter. Hopefully, I could help ❤️

What's the difference between Tam Coc and Trang An ?

    • @uncomplicated_life_
      @uncomplicated_life_  11 месяцев назад +2

      Hello,
Tam Coc is known for a very long time. And Trang An is, let's say,'new in town'. Tam Coc is also a little bit shorter than Trang An. Tam Coc is going through rice fields, but in Trang An, you have more caves and Pagodas to see. And in Trang An, you are not coming back the same way as you came. I spoke with a few locals, and they recommended Trang An. In the end, Ninh Binh is so beautiful that the scenery will take your breath away 😉😉
Hopefully, you will have fun whatever you choose .

@gurusaijayaprakash5139 definitely Trang An. And I really enjoyed route 3. Still I recommend going there very early in the morning, you will avoid the crowd!

@gurusaijayaprakash5139 you can book it by yourself. You don't have to use an agency... but us up to you what is more convenient to you! If you haven't tried Roti in Hanoi yet, you definitely have to!
