I see a lot of marimba renditions of video game songs and such on RUclips. Most aren't very good. They are often poorly arranged, poorly performed, or simply a poor fit for marimba.
This is not the case here. This is an excellent arrangement of a piece that sounds great on marimba performed with superb skill.

I come back to this every couple of months, because I love this song and this arrangement is genuinely fantastic. It's brilliant how it captures a slightly different energy to the original, string version - the marimba gives it an almost playful child-like vibe. And once again, hat's off to Christopher Larkin, what an absolute unit x

Its my favorite game of all time, its art and music and lore are fantastic, and its only $15 which is an absolute steal. if you like difficult games, get it immediately
If you want to play a metroidvania definetly check it out, some would say one of the best, definitely in the last couple of years
I know several people have already replied but Hollow Knight is incredible. It's very difficult but fun and beautiful. Great characters, very emotional, and best of all incredible music.
To me music is usually a thing in games/movies that I don't notice much unless it's bad. In Hollow Knight the music is so good you notice.

When hollow knight is $15 with free DLCs, then while working on making you able to play as hornet too they say they’re doing another game instead, and then it goes on sale as free for a month...

I don't see it so much as hating themselves, the way I see it Team Cherry just really love their players and value actual quality in games, which is very admirable these days
Even at 15 dollars they still probably made a fortune, plus it makes team cherry look incredibly good in a market where its acceptable for one to copy paste a half a dozen games every year and charge 60 dollars for it.
Well, they sold almost 2.8 million copies, meaning they got about 42 million dollars. Given they are only 5 people, and an 80 000$/year salary, plus about 80 000$/year other expenses (rent, electricity), they could just run their studio for the next 80 years without making a cent.
The time is almost upon us gentlemen!
