Thank you Andrea for your pure soul, you are really a beautiful person inside out, and one of kind. May the almighty bless you with all your heart desires.
I LOVE your thoughts about following up! I've felt the same way, and that was validating. I also try and clearly express at the end of treatment that part of my role as a practitioner is to be available for them to call on with questions or assistance in the week or so following treatment. I like to leave it to the client, as that's really what I prefer personally.
Wow!!!! Loved this! Such great tips- I really liked the part about how you choose not to do follow ups! That SO resonates with me as well- I never want to appear pushy! Thanks again!
Thank you Andrea, I am so pleased that someone else was also wondering about this and asked the question. You have offered some great ideas that I can now incorporate into my Reiki treatment sessions. I also wanted to ask whether you bring crystals into your sessions? I am wondering what crystals might be beneficial for a client to hold and in which hands. Thank you again Blessings Alison
Great video! I’ve been contemplating about whether or not it would be appropriate to follow up after a session and your response to that question really put my mind at ease. Love your videos and the guidance you offer!
I love how original you are with your content! Such simple information but great tips! Thank you for sharing your experiences so freely just to make Reiki more accessible to all!
Andrea, could you talk about blockages in the chakras. That is always hard for me to tell where blockages are. Intuitively I might feel they need more grounding etc.. But when I am doing reiki it just seems that I am unsure what blockages feel like when the energy is flowing. Thank you.
Tammy, thank you for your question and video idea. My first answer is that in my experience, I look for where the person needs Reiki (intuition or Byosen Scanning) and then offer Reiki there. We don't really need to know what is a 'blockage' or not to be completely effective as practitioners. I have a video on Byosen Scanning you might find helpful because it is a technique to find where a person needs Reiki and no knowledge of chakras or why there is imbalance is necessary. It is here: ruclips.net/video/evbloAzZrKo/видео.html Hope this is helpful for now. 💕
Thank you again!! Yes, very helpful. I'm so appreciative that you even reply to people that have questions. That's very rare on RUclips nowadays. But I just want to say thank you so much for taking the time to do so. Wishing you a wonderful day!
@@tammycastro4346 You are very kind and bright! It's my mission to help others succeed with Reiki so we can help more people. The time is NOW! Blessings to you! 💐
I really like your videos, thank you so much for sharing. Is there any chance you could do a video ( if you don't already have it) on how to ground the person/animal if you do a distant session? Thank you 😊
You are very welcome! Glad you find them helpful. I may have covered that in my Distance Reiki Review. Use your surrogate or visualization with your intention and offer Reiki at their feet/ankles. I do this at the end of the session regardless if I treated that area earlier. The difference is my intention is different in grounding and bringing the session to an end. I hope that helps you out. Thanks for asking. 😁
Thank you Andrea! Loving your videos! I’m a new practitioner, how do you respond when a client has a profound experience and they ask you as the practitioner the meaning?
Thanks, Claudia! Never reach for a meaning. Only offer one if you're sure from your guidance. Check out my latest video about knowing if your intuition is correct. I would never want to tell someone something that would lead them in the wrong direction. So what I do is ask my guidance for information on the client's behalf. If I'm not sure, I convey that to them and invite them to reflect on it and make up their own mind. But if I get information I feel is credible, I pass it along. Hope that helps. 💐
Depends on what you and client prefer. I’m quiet to allow them to completely relax and not be distracted by me. Doesn’t mean I won’t talk, but that’s my default.
Not sure what session you are referring to? You can go to my website and see my events and sign up for emails to be notified at www. Mainstreamreiki.com
I am an Aesthetician and do multiple services already and Im adding Reiki this week. How do I incorporate this into my already existing business with seeming too busy in the website? Any advice would be appreciated🙏🏼🥰
That’s wonderful you’re offering Reiki too. For help in your specific situation, I’d invite you to consider a mentoring session so I can understand fully and offer the best guidance for you. Details here: www.mainstreamreiki.com/mentoring 💐
Can you please speak about disconnecting energetically from the client after a session either in person and/or after a distant session? Sometimes I feel like I'm not disconnecting from them properly. I have found that during sessions I physically feel their ailments in my body and sometimes that continues after the session. How do I clear myself after and make sure I'm not connected? Or is that normal? Thank you as always! 💜
Also, is it possible to pick up spirit attachments from a client? The same night after a session I was attacked and had to fight a spirit out of my body. It was trying to get in my body if that makes sense. I woke up to my physical body shaking as I pushed it away. It was extremely scary and I've never had this happen before. I'm not sure if it was trying to fully take me over or thought I was the light to go into? I don't know but I do wonder if somehow doing reiki has caused this. Have you ever had an experience like that? And also if I did pick it up from my client, how do I get rid of it? Thanks so much.
In my Reiki I/II classes,, students are taught the Japanese Reiki technique of Kenyoku or dry bathing. This clears our energy and disconnects any cords formed. Also, the power symbol placed at each chakra helps seal your energy centers so energy of clients and you don’t interfere with each other. My style of Reiki also teaches sprint attachment release at master level that’s effective and then heals whatever weakness was present that allowed the spirit to attach. Thank you so much for this - as a new Practitioner this is so helpful. 🙏🏻 I do have a question, when my clients share their experiences afterwards they sometimes ask what it means or even if they don’t ask I’m not sure what to say when they share what they’ve felt or seen. Could you suggest how I should respond please? Em xx
You’re welcome! I’m glad you’re here! I might offer a possibility to consider but make it clear that meanings may be unique to them. For example, if a client feels cold, I can tell them that in general that indicates releasing energy. However if they want to know what the color pink meant that they saw, I would say that colors can be symbolic of many things. I might offer that some people feel that when they see colors, the color indicates the presence of a specific angel but it could also be indicative of an energy center being worked on or perhaps just the energy of compassion. So the answers to questions of what those things truly might mean really do reside in each person. I cannot say and I don’t guess and deliver it as knowing. I hope that is helpful.💐
Mainstream Reiki fantastic thank you - that makes sense. I am considering a mentor appointment with you, however I am in London so will need to work our timings. I really love your video trainings they are giving me so much confidence. 🤗🤗🤗
🤗 feel free to send me an email with some other days and times that might work for you. Timing is something we can certainly overcome when you are ready. 💕💐
Hi Jessica, my favorite amount was four but I've seen up to six or seven full session clients. For me, that is just too much because I would rather not do anything that much in one day--even Reiki! I've cut back on client sessions because I like to spend more time doing videos, writing and other projects. Plus I'm teaching more than ever now. It's all about balance and what goals you envision for yourself. Hope that helps.
I love your approach, it vibes with me ❤️ thanks for sharing.
Thank you Andrea that information is reassuring as I would use the same strategies before and after Reiki sessions. 🙏🏼
