@nubcakehero I completely agree. The flexibility of zerg and terran is so much greater, but each race has its strengths and weaknesses (protoss has stronger units), and when you choose a race, you just have utilize your strengths and try to deal with the race's weaknesses.
@Bowa112 absolutely, nexus as in the noun we use in English today comes from the supinum of nectere (to bind / join together). It thus literally means 'the binding' However there masculine first person singular of the past participle is of course also 'nexus' by coincidence, however that means 'he who is connected', not 'the action of connecting / that which connects', which is what the noun nexus means.
As far as the void ray/queen thing you mentioned. The Team Liquid starcraft 2 wikipedia says: "Once the Void Ray's beam is activated within its 6 range, there's an additional leeway of 2 if the target moves away." So as the queen runs, it's still in that 8 range beam after it starts attacking, but it still is faster.
@Felluk I play Protoss. I usually hold them off with a three gate-robo and force fields. I basically just ignore them until I'm prepared to move out. I also wall off, but that's kind of besides the point given the force fields. They've invested a significant amount of resources early on for their army, whereas I've been probing hard and have the better economy. It works out nicely.
@Qaoz in the new patch it will take three pylons or two pylons and a cannon to completely block off a ramp, apparently blocking off a ramp with just two is imba
@Ataro104 They're making it so you can't block the ramp with 2 pylons. I can't remember if it takes 3 pylons, or if you just can't block the bottom of a ramp with buildings period. Its one or the other :)
@AZNKC no this discussion is far more interesting than a cast by husky, although psy would make it less annoying. I actually learned something thanks to icomposeeflats and drolexable (it was also fun reading too), but to each their own
@CrumpetsDeluxe Muta's are 100 mineral's 100 gas and Corruptors cost 150 minerals and 100 gas so its the same amount of gas and he was saying that zerg don't really have a problem with the minerals because it quite hard to macro all your minerals
@chidorieye maybe in high school, that type of set up isnt generally accepted in university, also theres no scientific model insert this context to, so it was more of an exaggerated playful hypothesis. not need retort however i dont need lessons in lab writeups, im only in a 3rd year spec. bio program with a focus on physiology..

Psy, you can just put the drone at the base of the ramp without patrolling if it is right in the center. It will block buildings, and it will give you a bit more time to multitask.
you need to put the PB and J on different slices because if you don't, then depending on which one you do first you get peanut butter in the jam jar or vice versa.

When one language takes a word from another language and doesn't change it (ie, if we "americanized" Nexus by calling it Necksus or something ridiculous like that), then it can follow some other rules. But if it's just using the word as it is, then it gets conjugated in its root language. See Lederhosen (singular form of Lederhose, a German word), or "Blonde" (feminine conjugation of Blond, a French word).
Today i switched to protoss. I was a mid-diamond terran player. Learning strategy: 4 gate blink stalkers After 5 1v1 games i beat a rank 2 diamond. Conclusion: protoss is imba. Priceless...

I have never heard anyone say perestroiki or glasnosti (instead of perestroika's, glasnost's) in english, although the word is the same as in russian. Lederhosen and blonde are exceptions rather than examples of a rule.
@Zeracool Language itself is made up by ignorant people, who didn't have any idea of what they were doing when started to speak. Not acknowledging how the dynamics of language works doesn't help your thesis. Yes, Zerathul uses one of two optional forms. I totally agree.

Very cool ultra tech preparation at the end, lvl3 armour and lvl2 melee almost halfway done when ultra den finishes. Ultras with 6 armour are beast.
