It is good that you are putting out these videos showing your progression. One thing is to practice paddling in flat water first and practice your stand up moves at least twice a week at home. Since you are from the Pacific Northwest I will assume you are from Portland or Seattle. If you are in Seattle Alki, Discovery Park, Carkeek Park, Edmonds Beach or Saltwater State Park are great places to practice. I am not too sure about Portland though I would be tempted to put Tillamook Bay on the radar or just a local lake or pond. Right now I am trying to get back into it myself and I use Alki Beach because there are no waves or people and I can really get to practice strengthening my paddle. Keep on vlogging and keep on following your dream!!
