Gotta love new board day! I just recently bought my first step-down board as well. I usually ride my 9' longboard, but just got a 7'8" funboard. Our waves here in northern California are a lot like yours there in Oregon, inconsistent and relatively sloppy. It's always great to be out in the water though! Even though it's cold lol.
Oh nice! Are you bringing that board to Costa Rica? And agreed it’s always great to be out in the water, even though I complain about the cold haha. Better than sitting at home!
Great video. Been there but never surfed there. I wish I did. Melanie, you did well considering the conditions. Good to Jimmy out there again. I plan on surfing a number of those beaches when I go back there.

@@JimmyxMelanie No I’m not bringing any of my own boards to Costa Rica. I’m just going to raid the board shop while I’m there and try a few out.
