Miku became a rhythm guitarist of good level and what a good idea to have created this group to refresh the universe of the Hard Rock, the pigeon must take its foot. For me the best rock band in the world. I've got almost everything they've done including these musical videos on a bonus disc. I also just picked up different on disc. I have to have them available. I like to take out our Caddy and listen to them on the Bose stereo system. I never get tired of them and the UNSEEN WORLD album is the bomb.
Yeah, Misa is something else. I was lucky enough to see them twice last fall. One of the concerts I was only about 8 feet away from Misa. She is all over that bass. And she’s absolutely gorgeous to see in person.
This band has reached levels of unsurpassable magnificence! Progressive metal ( or rock or whatever the hell want to call it) at its absolute peak. Speechless !
I think when it comes to Bandmaid we actually can hear the Base, in a lot of other bands the base is just background sound. Cant get enough of these girls. 😀
No one seems to recognize the stamina of Akane .. she just ran in place at full speed for 4 + minutes straight on that double bass .. 99.9% of us wouldn't last 1 minute without being out of breath and our legs cramping up.
@@cfofra - I know the running gag is that Akane can eat a lot of food but seriously, if she didn’t there’d be none of her left. She must really burn through calories.
Sad that most of the ppl are superficial, not openminded enough or don´t have any clue about musicianship. Otherwise these ladies would be able fill stadiums with 50k people and everybody would witnessning their incredible talent... They are IMO a once in a lifetime band!
The reality is that they play a style of music that is no longer popular, that people no longer listen to in great numbers. Hard rock bands are no longer filling stadiums. Look at Greta Van Fleet or The Warning Band. Excellent bands but you don't see them on the charts. Hatsune Miku is more popular, has more subs on YT and draws more people to concerts and she isn't even human! Band Maid is going to remain a niche band.

Most people go for easy-listening bands with stand-out lead singer or whoever stands out the most. Something easily audible with wow factor is what casual listeners ask for... which bore shix out of me. Band-maid may never gain mainstream success, but will become a band that influences other great bands and musicians down the road.
We are spoilt for choice now with instrumentals from these talented ladies! I’m a huge fan of the Instrumental of Domination. It’s like listening to a new song it’s just so damn good!!! React to it if you can. 🤟🏻🤟🏻
Their fan base has grown over the last 2 years, when travel restrictions are gone and this band tours they will sellout venues wherever they go. This song showcases just how bad ass their talent is and they make it look so easy.
I always thought their songs are too short. But recently realized it doesn't matter.. even if a song is twice long, you wouldn't notice because you are completely sucked in😉
I like music too, and MISA's bass is very special. She seems to keep playing interesting solos, probably because she is also studying jazz. She keeps playing very interesting phrases, but when she's not playing her own solos, she's very unobtrusive. It's the same with drums. The phrases on the drums also keep changing. I can only assume that this is due to the fact that the drums and bass are linked together, and that it takes a lot of continuous playing to reach synchronization.
I find Misa’s bass playing to be lyrical in a way that many bass lines aren’t. She still drives the bus (along with Akane) and sits so deep in the pocket but adds that extra special sauce that makes her work standout and elevates the whole band. I mean I could say that last bit about any of them really. And that’s what makes them so special (IMHO), they are so much greater than the sum of their separate (and awesome) parts.

The fact that Alex here wasn't that into bass (as so many other MIsa fans are) speaks volumes. Once most people hear the band they get that taste of her magic. And that recent live "Manners/Black Hole" video completely blew my mind--again... I was just on spotify looking for this song and came here tonight to hear it again. Is it on any albums or is it one of their hidden tracks that they only play live? It kicks ass no doubt!

That's the magic of Band Maid. 8 years together. No ego no drama. They're all incredible individualy but together. Maid powers activate! So tight! So together. Letting each other breath. Each other shine. They look so happy because they are. Miku and Saiki write the lyrics. Kanami writes the music does the arrangements. Akane leads the Band on stage. Saiki and Miku front. That is what is special about their sound. In addition, the two have a fantastic understanding of each other and can work fantastically together not least because they are also private friends and hang out together a lot in their spare time.

If they were looked at by talent alone they wouldn’t need a gimmick these women are beyond talented, and yes sometimes gimmicks are part of personalities but man can’t the world just appreciate them as musicians and not even women musicians. Wow so talented! I really love your channel and the fact that you generally LOVE the music and how it makes you feel! Great
Listen to no-god, h-g-k, Giovanni if you haven't yet. Band-maid is clearly taking risks and exploring even more genres. Not enough reactors have reacted to those songs...maybe they are waiting band-maid to play them live, who knows. I don't care what other people think, but I want them to stay adventurous and audacious, and pursue 'their' music.

4:15 what MISA wears is a type of banyan. The sleeves have of course been made shorter, as they would otherwise interfere with playing the guitar.
