Too funny, our worst meals. Chop House and Wolf Gang Puck. We had horrible service. $90 bill. Manager offered us a comp dessert on next visit. Ha. No, next visit. Checked out Wolfgang Puck and the service was phenomenal, food so-so. So you never know. We all have our experiences. If you want to take a trip out of the Villages, I highly recommend a trip to Mount Dora. Try out the Goblin Market, I think you will enjoy it. Also, for Indian food also try Shivia Indian restaurant in Mount Dora. I am new to your show ladies, but I am really enjoying it.
I like using the chairs at the squares with a seat cushion I bring from home. At Sawgrass, bringing one’s own chair would be an advantage. FYI, there are perpetual calendars to help one keep track of which Saturday it is😂😂😂
YES! good catch. Some have a personal card. It's like a business card but with your personal info, name, village, maybe a picture, spouse name, maybe a phone number or an email. this is because we meet so many new people it's a great way to stay connected! Very good catch on the things they don't tell you!!!
Cars don’t always have the right of way. One example is when If you’re at a 4 way stop if it’s your turn you go. Otherwise you are preventing the cars behind you from going.
I have only been here 3 months and I love that although it is hot and casual…I see most ladies are dressed nice and men are mostly In their collared golf shirts!❤
I love linen! I think it's the best fabric for here. I bought this and another gauzy cotton dress both at TJ Maxx in Buffalo Trace Plaza. I found them both in the "Beach Cover Up" area but they are both just above the knee length so I wear them as a dress and a cover up. .
Christina is looking for an Indian Restaurant. I was watching another RUclips video and they were saying the best Indian food restaurant was in Mt Dora Florida. Not sure how far that is from you. But this lady said she has been eating Indian food for years and it was the best . Shiva Indian Restaurant. I’m afraid to eat Indian food because I don’t know what to order. I don’t eat lamb or goat not sure if that is something they eat. I do eat chicken and I like spicy. I always wanted to try
Thank you for the recommendation, i will have to check it out! Mt Dora is about 40 mins from where I live but Ocala is about the same distance. I love Amrit Palace (in Ocala). Don’t be afraid of Indian food - They have vegetarian dishes, chicken and shrimp etc. Just know that Vindaloo mean very hot and spicy!!! If I were you, I would go to an Indian restaurant and tell your server this is your first experience eating their cuisine and what do they recommend to introduce you to it :). Let us know if you try it out - I think you just might enjoy it :)). Tina

Agree with all the fried food and cream sauces. Still looking for healthier restaurants. Fried foods and cream sauces can’t be good for those of us over 65. From West Los Angeles so restaurant food here is just mediocre that I have tried. Hate being negative but no area is perfect. Glad I like to cook so not that big of a deal for me. Every area I have lived in I always had a “go to” Chinese restaurant. Was surprised only take out here.
It is truly amazing that most of us shouldn't be eating most of the things on the menu! We do have some sit-down Japanese, VKI in Lake Sumter, Kumo in Lake Deaton Plaza, and Sakura on Colony Blvd. I have been to the first 2 and think they are decent.

The first night I visited TV last month, I went to Chop House. The wood-fired salmon was delicious. Great restaurant.

The mahjong is definitely a challenge but I am determined.... so far at least haha! Some games here are very easy such as Bunco and 7's.
