Look at what the city of Seoul does. Seoul city makes amazing festivals for tons of people where there are rarely ANY problems with violence or pickpocketing or assault. I haven't seen this in another city I've traveled to. What do you all think?!
Exactly!! Public safety in Korea is probably the biggest reason why I have been living in Korea for so long. I do not care how amazing the place is but if it is not safe, NO thanks!!
The last time I visited Seoul and Korea, was in 1999. Back then, it was an up-and-coming but grey and dull concrete city. There were none of those beautiful cultural fairs and festivities. And there weren't very many foreign tourists either.... like zero number of them. The views of the city now looks amazing, it's mindblowing how much it has changed.
Wow, I like the way how Koreans appreciate their holidays and try to make these days bright and entertaining for locals and tourists😍🔥 Thank you Francois, for showing us how colorful Korea becomes during this festival!
Thank you so much for the lovely comment! I'm happy to share Seoul and Korea life through videos for those who have never traveled to Korea. Thank you always for your lovely comments!♡♡♡;)

Seoul has a lovely glow that shines at night! The city is so colorful and really vibrant. It’s sometimes a bit strange that for a city so beloved like Seoul, it still sometimes is overlooked by some visitors as compared to other Asian cities. Seems you had a nice nice and fun time, Francois! Keep at it! Enjoy life brother!
Great video Francois!! I have been living in Seoul for more than twenty years now and this summer was truly ridiculously the hottest and the most humid by far. Something is terribly wrong with this weather. I think everyone is ready for a beautiful fall season. We are only literally a few days away from it so let's be patient and be ready to enjoy the most beautiful season in Korea. Well, heck pretty soon, people will be complaining about how cold the weather is in Korea when winter rolls around. You know how cold the weather can get in Korea. Thank you for making this video. Really enjoyed it, brother!!
In the summer people complain it's hot, in the winter people say it's too cold. We can't win for trying lol. Seriously, I do think something is terribly wrong with the earth. This weather is super crazy! And also...more than 20 years?? How did you manage it?!
@@francoismarc3 As someone who is from Atlanta, Georgia, and you know how hot it can get in summer there, I deal with it as best I can knowing fall is an amazing season here in Korea just like in Atlanta but it seems like Summer is getting longer and hotter and the other three seasons are getting shorter as times go by if you know what I mean. If I could choose between the two summers, I would much rather choose the summer in Atlanta over Korea even though they are both HOT due to the insane amount of humidity here in Korea. I love living in Korea but God, I miss Atlanta especially all those trees, the people, the landscape, the Southern hospitality, food, the Smokey Mountains, the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Gatlinburg Mountain town, and Helen, Ga I used to visit in summertime with my wife. A lot of wonderful memories!! Atlanta is an amazing place to live!! I consider myself a Southerner and proud of it. You know how many Southern people are so down to Earth, kind, loyal, and friendly!! I still speak with a little Southern accent!! Do you miss Atlanta like I do and consider yourself a true Southerner too Francois? Thank you!!
@szvqorwnpstahskypfwmp9821 I remember my mom went to Helen, GA for Oktober Fest! I do miss the trees and southern food. The hospitality as well, but I do like my life in Korea:) I'll always be a southerner at heart!!! Just now, I'm really enjoying my life as an American-Korean hahahah
Can you imagine living in a country where it's safe, the people are respectful and there's very very little violence or hostility? Unheard of in America today...
True. Try this same stuff in an American city downtown area where there are thousands of homeless people on Fentynal, living on streets and tent cities. Why is there such a big difference?
The steak was the best I've had in a long time...Please don't come during the summer when you visit! Autumn or Spring hahaha. In the summer, I want to escape!!!
It's great to hear from someone with a similar background. I have been living in Korea for the past 25 years and it's quite amazing to see this city evolved into what we see today. I appreciate your positivity and energy in all your videos - Keep up the good work!!

Seoul has so many free/ low cost activities. I love that there are so many street performers. Sous vide steak for 13, 000 won - yes please! Bean bag chairs at an outdoor screening - yes please! I went to a food truck festival here recently prices were $20 cad average(20 000 won) and they had less variety and quality than your festival. Francois have you considered carrying a handheld fan? Korea makes amazing ones. Please consider posting prices. I do appreciate when you mention them.
Posting prices is something I've been thinking about, but I always forget hahaa. Thanks for reminding me:) Maybe I should get a hand-held fan. I can always store it in my bag when I'm not using it:) Also, food prices at events are relatively cheap, unless the venues are big concerts and things like that.:) I always appreciate your comments!
Huge the pacific ocean's heated steams come to East Asia because of the earth rotation in summer. Wear the bright clothes, the black color clothe take in 20% heat more.
