It used to be.. that Class One, and sometimes Class Two, hitches were available withOUT having to go to a receiver-type... but could be a simple bolt-on hitch...... which are less expensive. .. Admittedly, the draw-bar is fixed after installation; but cost is cost.
@@DaveMedicus ... Yes; my habit is to buy older American RWD full-frame cars.... and such did have separate frames.. versus today's typical UniBody cars.
I actually got this one from Harbor Freight because I needed one that went high enough. I had to also buy and adapter to take it from 3/4" to 1/2" for my socket. I have craftsman's torque wrenches but they were in my storage unit in Myrtle Beach.
I used class one on my car. Uhauls small trailers are perfect
They worked great. I had their 5x8 trailer and still got 18 mpg fully loaded. (Afraid to know how much over I was)
Good job I enjoyed it
Thank you.

can you took a car with the class 1 hitch?
DeeJay Calvin no you can’t tow a car. This hitch has a 200lb tongue weight with a 2,000lb max tow weight.
Dave Medicus you best believe people do it anyway
