- From a very young age, most people are complimented on their success. We often say to children, when they do something well, You are very clever.
Most of us grow up thinking that we need to succeed at whatever we do. The fact is, we are not defined by how we succeed but how we fail. When a child first starts walking, do they just get up one day and start walking or do they fall, and fall and fall again. That's right. They keep falling. Even when they get it right, they occasionally fall.
We have all experienced failure, failure is the foundation of success. I want you to think about something. Which of these people would you consider a failure? The person who has failed his driving test 10 times and still has not passed or the person who passes the first time, then has a few accidents.
None of them is failures. Because it is nothing but an opportunity to improve. If you have been trying to get your driving licence over the past year and your theory is coming to an end, that is not a failure!
Last year the petition to extend theory pass certificates was rejected by the government. That was not a failure. That was the building blocking for this year's campaign. The decision a few days ago by the government to reject the petition for the second time, that is not a failure. That is an opportunity to have the case heard in the House of Parliament. So what is failure?.......

To anyone feeling down right now, I’ve been there ! I failed twice and with the pandemic I honestly never thought it would happen. It was like beating a dead horse, BUT I kept on going and it payed off. Don’t let anyone make you give up, I had everyone left right and centre giving me the queue of “just give up” Don’t let them get to you !

I have spent all my savings on driving lessons for almost 3 years and now i have to pay another money for lessons again.

True there is driving license with my name on it. I love that statement. Thou reality is it too frustrating with the unfairness of DVLA not to extend our theory licence. Anyway I believe God has the right time. Fox let's not give up. Cheers

This is amazing advice. You should never give up and continue to try as one day the hardwork does pay off.
When you don't pass a vehicle test 1st time it doesn't bother you, but it's after you don't pass the 2nd is when it becomes a real test of your character and will. Some people hang in there and stay mentally strong, but others lose their complete minds or just give up. Tougher now with all these events, which has increased violence and depression

I was thinking of taking my own life and crying so much cuz what happen Thanks to you for ur advice Dee Dubz. I'm 17 and I was trying to get my g1 here in Ontario the line ups are a lot and I had to wait for like 4-5 hours. Once it was my turn I had to do some signatures and they wanted to check my eye sight like they always do and failed the test cuz I didnt see anything. The person said u should get glasses or else I can't get the test. I felt like this was rejection and parents started yelling at me so hard while we were driving. I couldn't handle my emotions. Plus this was my 3rd trying to get my g1 because the previous attempt was there was so much people so I went back. I thought this was the chance to get my g1 but this all happened sadly
@@tj5180 keep pushing. Never let up. Life without tough tests and battles would be boring. If anyone wants rewards not just from these tests but life, they're going to have to learn how to endure; everybody. Test of faith; that's what this life here on this earth is all about. Nothing good comes easy. The best rewards are yet to come.

@@tondzthefirst Depedning on how close or how are you was to passing the test, usually the disappointment the first time of round doesn't kick in till later when you're all alone. By then all the adrenelin has worn off and the reality has set in that you didn't pass this time. The best thing I'll say is keep busy and occupied once you're alone. Always plan ahead, even before your test for any outcome. If you never passed, as soon as you leave your coach (if you haven't instantly rebooked with them), either go to a nearby library or head back in and rebook a new test. But speak to your coach first before rebooking. Don't get too down. And once alone, get some rest. Go to sleep. Maybe plan something fun to do n our head if you pass. If you don't just go home and rest. Always a next time

Let me tell you something. I passed my practical test in June 2018, after the third attempt. It was great news. I had always wanted to a courier. I looked around and found a nice job. I got my van and life was great. I wasn't prepared for the pressure of delivering to twenty destinations in one night. It soon got to me and I got a speed ticket quickly followed by a red light camera.
I tried my best to get the DVLA to at least give me a fine and speed course but the judge didn't rule in my favour.
I lost my license. I have two children who have mental disabilities and doing the school run on public transport or walking to school is always a nightmare.
I was determined to get my licence back. Now. After covering about 150 miles each day for five days, I thought it would be easy to get my licence back. I believe I'm a good driver because I was never involved in any kind of accident so I thought I would just walk in drive for 40 minutes and go back home with my licence. I was wrong.
I kept failing and just got back my licence two months ago after twelve attempts. I got so much used to failing that when the examiner told me I had passed, I did not show any emotion.
My wife was so used to my failure that when I left the pass certificate on our bed to surprise her, she did this k it was my first one which I usually took out to remind me of the good times. I am 46 so I believe no one should ever consider giving up especially the younger learner drivers who think their world has ended after two failures.

This video is so inspirational, thank you for your kind words. I've been taking driving lessons since 2019 and I've failed my driving test 3 times already. I had to redo my theory test because it expired just before my second driving test. I have been practising how to drive in my own car and I've got a new test booked, I'm praying I pass next time because my second theory is about to expire in September.

Failed my test today for the first time after 70 hrs. Feeling so devastated. I got serious fault because of the clutch control as I was approaching towards the junction from the round about and instead of going down to 1 gear I accidentally went back to 3rd gear and there was dual cartridge way right after the junction I just lost control over the car. And examiner had to say you have to restart your engine. I can’t believe how it all happened. I made 2 minor faults apart from that. This video is absolutely inspirational.

i couldn’t leave my bed for two weeks after i failed the second time. I couldn’t stop crying- Passing the test means the world to me more then anything. It’s the next step in my life and i’ve been waiting since i was little. my 3rd try doing the test is in a few days!!!

The thumbnail is so accurate. I failed twice for silly things. I was going to quit driving but started just driving my own card with my dad beside me. I got so much confidence but I don't want to sit another test because I know test nerves are what make me fail and make me feel like trash
My instructor keeps telling me it's 100% my nerves as well saying I'm a really good driver. Test makes me doubt myself all the time

Enjoyed watching your video you can never study too much if you want to reach your goal the thing is the amount people I have talked to who have passed their driving test some said shouldn't have passed first time because they feel that they won't really ready some have passed there test but haven't drove since they passed and I do know one person who passed her test and her driving instructor has said to her I wouldn't past you that was the time where they can sit in the back of the car so she was lucky that day this was a long time ago and she's a really good driver now we do put a lot of faith in our driving Examiner that on the day we get treated fairly I have heard that they have number of passes and a number of failures in a week I don't know how true that is fingers crossed for all of us who want to pass are driving test🤞😊👍

Hello, passing your theory matters as much as passing the practical. It shows that you understand all different aspects of driving.

I failed mine today first attempt, examiner was nice calm, even drive was ok, but on one narrow road which was two way road having a traffic queue on the left lane and i thought as if cars parked and went on the oncoming traffic way, though there was no oncoming traffic but examiner said stop stop stop and i realized thats the end, i still thinking and in shock how come in queue traffic i thought its parked, i was good with speed progress besides marked for 6 minors but this one serious cost me a test 😢

It's shocking that many people are failing 5 to 10 times. REmember there is a certificate with your name on it

I failed today....this is my 5th attempt. (I failed 4 times on the manual but this was my first fail on the automatic). I just rolled down a hill. I feel like such a failure because no one I know has failed it so many times.
Hello Chaya. PLease don't be disappointed. Firstly, automatic car should NOT roll back - unless you were driving a semi automatic. Secondly, half the learners are currently in your situation. $, 5, and even 6 test are common these day. Book your test again, your future self will thank you for it.

I attempt my second test 2 days ago but I did not loose my hope and I will not until I pass. I believe one day I will pass. Some people pass in first test and some people will pass in 10 test. Everything happened for reasons. Just waiting for my time.

If hgv was not so expensive I won't worry so much. I already payed 2800 for it and failed on first time.
