i CAN'T STRESS ENOUGH how important it is not to rush yourself for other drivers. THEY CAN WAIT that extra 1 min, take your time!
Especially at roundabouts.
@@UnitedKingdomGovernment Exactly. As a learner myself, it's better to be safe than sorry by taking an extra few seconds to check. There may be a car coming from the right. From NZ
@@hammerbro1947 exactly, and when trying to find a suitable gap i always wait for the oncoming car, the people behind me might have to wait a few more seconds but it’s sure better then waiting half an hour for the cops to clear the roundabout if I crash.
People don't give L players a chance. If they sit on the speed limit they are going to slow for a full license driver.
@@UnitedKingdomGovernment yes and no. Just don't be so scared and never go. 30 seconds to a minute waiting for a gap is fine but after you've missed 6 perfectly suitable (for a learner) gaps you're going to get honked. The instructors job should be to help them go and determine a suitable gap and get their confidence up to go.
imagine getting your driving license to become independent but in reality is to catch pokemons
Let the man be, he is happy about it
wtf is wrong with that bro? Becoming independent is such a broad use of the term. For him its his independence to go play pokemon instead of catching the bus
@@BeanisBags I am not insulting the guy I Just think The era of pokemon go has been passed and normally when you asked People what is the first think they want to do after passing their driving test they say travel with mates to shopping, university work stuff like that but He said pokemon go nothing wrong with Just find it a bit odd
@@celsiocunha4282 MIGHT be on the 'spectrum'!
😂😂 It's kinda funny
Why would anyone keep beeping their horn whilst a learner is doing a manoeuvre? Because that will just make them nervous and take more time. People seem to forget we were all learner drivers once.
Editing. Not actually beeping I believe.
Ye it’s editing
They’re not real
Yes most of them are edited sound effects..tyre screeching, horn and so on
They put it in in post for dramatic effect
As someone who’s recently passed my drivers test; I really feel for learners. It took me three attempts and the nerves are there.
3 attempts here as well. but i finally got it! I feel ya!
Same here 🤗
Thank you for saying that.
I do as well, having had to pass 2 driving tests to become fully licenced in Ontario, Canada. I passed the test to enter class G2 on my 2nd attempt, having to take the same test just to maintain a G2 licence. On my 3rd attempt to pass the G2 exit test I passed.
I'm taking the test in about a month. Do you have any tips ?
The fact that she was so calm like nothing was wrong when she stopped at a green light🤣🤣
😂
Just brainless
Imagine stopping at a green light lol
How to get rear-ended 101
heaps in nz like this , mostly people like her or too cautious drivers which gets annoying.
I had a friend who stopped at all 🚦 regardless of the colour. She would then take off once she was sure it was going to stay green. She insisted it was what her driving instructor taught her. It actually took 2 years before she was rear ended which was surprising.
@@blondesense1708 how did she even pass at all...
@@Bryan-jj3if I guess her instructor was as dumb as her. When we got our license in our part of the world the instructor was the one who could give you your license. Thankfully they changed that.

I thought they were real this whole time💀
I was a car accident assessor for years and teenage girls and boys have the same kinds of accidents. Girls tend to have parking scrapes and get rear ended -while- -texting- but boys - they have less accidents, but when they do, 😱. They total the car at high speeds.
Really? That's really interesting. As a guy I always thought teenage guys would be worse with their driving but I stand corrected. I say this as someone who was a teenage guy myself
I am a guy who T-boned another car on an intersection but luckily wasn't my fault as he ran a red light but luckily I still feel comfortable driving and have just finished my hrs to do a test
i been in 2 accidents cause by female who doesnt know how to stay in their lane and doesnt know how to give way
about a week into having a license my little brother totaled our suv and the nissan he hit from a nearly full stop in a parking lot pressed the wrong peddle when trying to stop in his defense tho it was rusted to jesus and a strong wind would have totaled it plus i suspect the radiator for the transmission had a hole in it beforehand so it slipped alot and was on its last legs anyways gg his insurance tho
i rear-ended my gf whilst she was texting too & yes, it was at very high speed & rpm
Plot twist: that girl that stopped at the green light is actually colourblind
Still, if you’re going for your driving test you should know that the bottom light is for go and the top is for stop. (I’m colourblind also)
In Australia that’s why they are yellow and when you get to your p’s we have the blue ones for those who are colourblind lol
This way the instructor knows that you may get the lights confused and teaches you how to know which is which
My dad is colourblind and can drive perfectly fine, you know the placement of the lights and different shades.
How is this a test??? The instructor was basically guiding him through out!!!
8:48 I like Scott, he is very friendly and he encouraging his students👌🏾👏🏾
I actually watched videos in youtube on how to drive and when I got my 1st driving lesson my driving instructor was amazed for someone who hasn't drove a car before and just watching RUclips to learn to drive was actually pretty good defensive driver.. I'm so proud of myself.. 1st day I drove in the busy, traffic jammed highway here in the PH.. and I manage to drive safely and did not hit anything..
same, i was super nervous when i had my first lesson, the teacher was expecting me to stall by his expression but when i zoomed off his face was literally pogchamping. Proudest moment for sure.
Good on you I've in the bush so I have been driving ever since I was 8 but I've always wondered how city folk learn to drive
Bro the guy talking about the Pokémon surely it’s an act there’s no way
With purple hair, I’m not surprised
Its his whole personality leave him alone
It's Darwin N.T brother I can assure you it is not an act lol

3 errors and fail in nz. Couple of stalls, missed shoulder checks, and so forth= pass? That's bloody insane
This shows probably fake tbh
Bruh you wouldn't get to 3 here. Certain mistakes it's one and done lol.
It's TV mate. All fake. I made one error on my learner test and they said I only just passed. (It was for for not doing a shoulder check, apparently.)
@@Smerdzy yeah thought so
this isn’t actually a drivers test he’s just an instructor getting the drivers ready for the test
When he was doing the 3 point turn, there was no way they were beeping, love the post editing tho. They can wait for you!
I'm actually kinda shocked they're a thing in Australian driving tests, they're illegal in my country and you'd get instantly failed for even attempting one, let alone holding up traffic like that. Idk, just interesting how driving laws can vary so much between countries.

@@foxxyguy2681 same here but I cant park but thats just because I’m only a teenager
When you parallel park what I do is line up my car mirror with the other cars mirror get really close then Turn 360 degrees until your mirror lines up with the tail light and then go the opposite way. Works every time
@@QKvox you what ?
Driving is very scary but keep going. Keep positive, without mistakes we would not learn. 💜
It is not easy to relearn to drive on the opposite of the road, I can relate to that, but practice will make it better and easier, I found if there are traffics on the road will help because you just have to look at them and drive accordingly.
It definitely is. Just focus on what you're doing.
I'm an Aussie living now in the US, and even as a pedestrian crossing the road when I first got here was difficult because of that. It took time for my head to get used to being on the right side of the road as a passenger in a car, and I'd say it took a few months to somewhat adjust. When I eventually started driving I was used to it and it feels normal now. I guess it would take me a little time to re-adjust to driving on the left again, but it feels interesting now to know it feels natural for me to drive on both sides.
I passed my test and these videos give me confidence that I’m a good driver 😂
your not
I feel for these learners as it took me the 7th go to pass. I got super anxious and it made me look like a dangerous driver when in fact it was the instructors who made me feel that way. I went to a rural town to do it after doing it all in metro areas and it made all the difference. I’m confident in driving in all areas even really busy urban areas. Such a relief to pass but it took months and thousands of dollars.
U should not be driving, 7 💀
@@throwawayaccount6409To be fair, we don’t know what he was failed for. It couldn’t been for not doing a headcheck correctly.
@@shaytrueblueaussie You cant fail instantly from such an error. If you fail to recognise and correct the errors after one failed test you're not trying to learn

Shoulder checks are so crucial, personally I shoulder check while I'm driving behind someone every 15mins or so incase they brake check or do a sudden stop (which has happend to me multiple times for no reason) so I know I'm always safe to pull out of the way or switch lanes with out having the worry of crashing into another person beside me 👍
what good is it if you shoulder every 15 minutes? isnt that like two checks per ride? 😂

I failed my first time because I hit the curb when parallel parking. I was really sad but watching this made me feel better
Hill starts are the worst... Glad he made it
When she stopped at the green light 🤣🤣🤣
Man that instructor tho 😍😍😍
Recently I drove a dude who used to be a drive instructor and he complimented me. So I felt good after that knowing I am not a danger to myself and those around me. Which I kinda already knew I live just south of DC and have only been in a super super minor accident which was my perception was off but I was so slow I barely bumped someone while parking. It’s been like 4 yrs since I learned to drive so like that’s amazing. On my driving lessons we almost got into accidents just due to other drives just turning without lookin and I didn’t get into an accident and my main issue was stopping too far from a car more so than stopping too hard or too close
been watching some of these videos lately, idk about it, but in my home country, Hungary, no one is taken straight into traffic without learning the basics, and its for the best. by learning the basics I mean not stalling every single time, not looking at the stick while shifting. it just makes it so much easier for the others in traffic and the learner too.

Big brother’s Carlos!!! Went in tonight
when i was a toddler, i was scared to press the red triangle button on the car because i thought it was a self destruct button and the car would literally blow up. then i told mum and she laughed her ass off like bruh i literally thought the car would blow up with me in it
SAME I didn’t realize it was for the hazard lights until I was 8
I didn't even know what the button was for, because I've never seen anyone press it when I was young.
same, my mum used to get dizzy sometimes when she drove, so she told me to press the button if she ever told me to. i thought it meant we were going to get ejected or an alarm was going to go off. lucky i never had to press it and she doesn’t drive anymore so
SAMMEEE I PREESSSED IT ONCE AND REALKSED HOLY SHKT MY MUM HAD HER HAZARD LIGHTS ON
If he thinks using two legs and two arms is too much at the same time, wait till he learns he also have to use his eyes!
What? Man passed with a 95% for a few stalls and not checking his shoulder bruv 😂
Stalling actually doesn't affect your points it's how you react to the stall. Like if you stall and panic and forget how to start the car, that's a problem. But if you keep your cool and continue on like normal then it's fine. But yeah head checks.
Not checking your shoulder in most cases in America is an automatic fail as well as hitting a curb.
stalling isn't a minor or a serious... bruv
Yeah but the examiner knew that he needs to catch Pokémon!!!
That Charlie guy was the best
Glad I finished my Practical Driving Course before I start watching these vids... I totally would have been discouraged if I found out this is how I'd be assessed... good thing my Instructor ended up being really friendly... Scary at times (he needs to be when I really need to keep my head into the game and make really quick and important decisions in the middle of a busy road) but he's a great and reliable instructor.
I'm here for an ego boost because I just failed a parking test where I live 😂
The guy In the first clip looks like Jimmy fallon
And has the smile of RONALDINHO 😃
“She was being so over cautious it got to the point where it wasn’t even funny” 🤣🤣😂, sounds funny
Scott must be one of the chillest instructors Ive ever seen
Great advice. Relaxation techniques and breathing exercises can really help.
I love this show!!!! Big shout out from the UK!!
All the instructors shown in the vidz are good. Just dont get carried away with the conversation cos we need to focus and be aware of the road ahead and the surrounding during the driving test. Whatever the instructors relay any safety tips, take note of it and acknowledged it without even looking at them. They will understand cos a mere seconds by not looking infront anything might happen! 😘😘😘😘😘
5:27 that car probably could turn around in that street in one movement
3 point turns on a road don’t even exist anymore in a PDA as the entire point is to avoid causing a road block that annoys other drivers. . I live in Perth, WA and they now make you drive into a drive way and reverse X2. They call it the ‘I forgot something’ activity. 🤷♀️
Ah the “left something behind”. You love to hate it
It's no longer part of a driving test here in the UK

In Norway cars at driving school have 2 sets of clutch, brake and accelerator. 1 for instructor or examiner and 1 for driver or learner. 2 sets of mirrors as well.

Word of advice from an Anxious tester. Take your time on the test there is really no time limit don’t rush it take it slow and if you know what you’re doing you’ll be 100% ok and get your drivers license in no time.

To anyone about to take their test: just drive cautiously like you normally would and relax. That's from someone who had a lot of anxiety about my test and passed on the first go.
These videos are addictive
In USA there is no three point turn in the test. It’s saver to pull into a driveway and back out to go in opposite direction.
Isn't 'Charlie' just Carlos from Big Brother 2021?

"I bet you stall" Not the best way to to boost the confidence of a learner! I'm glad my instructor in UK was a bit more professional in his attitude.
This is why I live in Canada.. most of our cars are automatic and I don’t need to worry about manual driving.. at least I hope not
To be fair, most licenses here are auto too. Manual is just easier to make fun of because it takes more discipline, so this show loves it.
Drivers at Australia the patience y’all need to have
I drove my car into the garage door learning as well, seems this is a common event especially with steep driveways.
My instructor asked me for a hill start at a bridge at a major highway! The nerves plus more nerves of possibly getting hit if we roll back and a car comes in. Luckily no rollbacks and no accidents. Learning in the Philippines driving school is horrendous especially if you live in the city and it's your first time to drive and you just came home after living overseas for over a decade where roads are neatly paved, traffic lights work, and just a tenth of motorists and pedestrians.
Watching all these videos and last first go driving test about 4 weeks ago 😘

The 3 point turn thing seems pretty dangerous especially for a learner on an active road. In the test in WA we have to do "left something behind" where the instructor taps on the dash and you have to find a safe place (usually a driveway) to turn around and go back to where you were.
