- How you position your feet on the pedals is of great importance as it can be the difference of having great control and smoothness and rough driving with an increased risk of accidents. This video explains how to position your right foot for the gas pedal and the brake pedal allowing it to rivet between them. It also fully explains how you need to position your left foot over the clutch to which will enable you to get the bitting point easier.

I use to move my foot up and down, until I was at a junction going into a busy road and instead off going for the brake i accidentally pressed the gas. I'm glad I had my instructor by my side. 🙂

You're welcome 👍
Very informative
Glad you think so!
Thank you, good sir.
I just have a question about the clutch pedal: My instructor tells me I have to keep my heel on the ground all the time, then carry it back while returning to the biting point before letting it go completely. In other words, I have to keep it down and move it all the time. What do you think of this method?
Having the heal on the floor will help with balance and make it easier to clutch control. That's good advice from your instructor
Hello, your method about clutch was nice but how should we raise and control the clutch steadily at traffic? (At traffic, we have to press the clutch many more times and if we raise the clutch by your method, the pedal slides down the foot)
Very good thanks
You're most welcome

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to comment. I am extremely sorry for such a late reply. In future all your cmments will be replied, more or less straight away.
What is the best method to depress the clutch pedal, whether to pivot the ankle or swing the heel?
Hello,
Pivoting the foot is recommended as would result using the pedals more smoothly.
After the gear shift is completed where should I put the leg? On top of the clutch or on the floor?
It up to you. Both are correct in the test. However, I personally put it on the floor unless i'm in slow moving traffic.
@@dtc_uk Thanks for the reply :)
👍
Thanks
You're welcome
Well done sir..... thank you 🌹
Thanx
thank u

Nice
Thanks
Because when i do my lessons, I am fine. For a while but start messing up when in traffic. It's like I forget the whole routine of clutching up to the biting point, hold it then gas and clutch up slowly. So I stall from time to time..
Do you feel that the pressure gets to you and thats maybe why it happens. Always try to believe in yourself and focus on the road.
@@dtc_uk All new , but i have stopped stalling,. I just slowly lift clutch up and make sure i have my feet on the gas pressed gently. I am now working on doing that faster, when in traffic or stopped. Took my time to start again and some idiot was horning at the back, not an issue for me. If they crash, they cannot blame their sorry as for rushing.
What to do in traffic? When we cannot fullly release our clutch and also we have to press it again and again. Then, this problem will come again.
press the clutch fully down. release until bite point and then you can put your heel on the floor to keep the pedal in the best position
When you are in traffick, can't you just go to the biting point, hold it then slowly clutch up after. Without pressing gas after clutching up slowly from the biting point.
By doing this, it burns out the clutch, so it is always recommended not to do this.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Thanks

Toe touching make sense to me now. soles of feet are not as sensitive as toes. My instructor thinks I should wear a thinner shoes.
1:11 the amount of times you do that
Thanks for making me aware. Maybe I should keep a glass of water nearby. Maybe a beer if my making the video from home
😁
You should make your face video small and important video big...on next time
