I Fought For My Blind Sister’s Education

- This video was made in collaboration with UNESCO in order to raise awareness on the topic of discrimination in education. Unfortunately, millions of children around the world still face discrimination in education every day - because of gender, disabilities, income, ethnicity and so on. This is unacceptable. Everyone has the right to get free access to quality education. This is captured in UNESCO Convention Against Discrimination in Education, which is the only legally binding international treaty entirely dedicated to the right to education. Support UNESCO in saying no to discrimination in education. Click on the link below to find out more and see what you can do to help!

I support this girl's Noble cause to help people like her sister
I agree that the Disabled should have a right to go to any school if they want. But yet. Some of the internet seems more educational than going to school itself !
I’m in tears. I’m glad they were able to have their dreams come true
Rights are our life, and if we can’t have that right, you’re basically controlling our lives
Hi
getting into a school isn't a right 💀 it's their right to reject disabled people.
@@lambsauce8172 that’s not funny dude😠
@@sergeantwillyt8860 it's not supposed to be funny you snowflake, but schools are supposed to accept people based on how smart they are, not because they have a sob story to tell
@@lambsauce8172 ? I am so sorry but that basically means saying people who aren't intelligent or disabled don't have the right to be educated it's isn't being a snowflakes everyone has the right to be educated like dude ???
Discrimination in schools is totally wrong and illegal. It's not right to treat anyone differently just because of disability, gender, skin color, language, and other things that's ridiculous and totally unfair no one should be treated unfairly and some things need to change.
Yeah you're right it's racist
As someone who has cerebral palsy being able to go to school and receive an education despite having a disability was awesome. If people keep people who have disabilities like myself from their dreams of getting a great education, those people should be denied an education so they could learn what we experience. I also have ADHD, anxiety, and persistent depressive disorder as well.
I honestly give props to the narrator of this video.
What's going bruh this started on chaos right away they didn't even-
Discrimanantion is not okay, end it
This was so touching and has me tearing up
Keep moving on girl, I know you can do it
I agree. As long as they believe in themselves, no one can stop them. Nice to meet you and hot name you have if I may say.
Is thos not fake ?
When she said she wanted to be a lawyer I was thinking she already is one. I mean LOOK at her and everything she’s doing. That kid will go far and her sister will too.
Hey there I am also blind and I struggle a lot I miss many materials at school , but noone wants to take action, this boils me with rage for education is for everyone.
I understand how you feel because I'm blind too but that has never stopped me from achieving my goals. The key is to speak up and if no one is listening, search for other ways to be heard. I know it's hard but always stay strong.
@@ivonneluna7311 I am strong and very positive, I want to be a writer so what ever happens I will never give up and I don't care what others say or think.
That's great!! I hope you will stay strong always and I wish you the best. Never give up because you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
Such an amazing sister looking out for her little sibling! 😢😁
I feel so sorry for her I want to hug her
Why you want to hug someone during covid
same !
My mother and I just donated to Unicef a few days ago as we do every year. Last year, we focused more on donating towards education actually.
this story is so touching.
Title check: "My School Won't To Teach Disabled Kids" feel free to comment the changed title later
Earlier, it was: "He Said School is Not For The Disabled"
The grammar is bad
@@gwendee5070 I know, Ms. Gwen Dee.
It's back to "My School Won't To Teach Disabled Kids".
@q.q Many people, especially those who'd like to preserve the history of RUclips.

Original title:
*My School Won’t To Teach Disabled People*
You read that right...
This needs more views 😔
That's sad
Old title: They said disabled people can't go to school.
I dont remember exactly but I think that's what it was
Pretty much spot on. It was "He says disabled people can't go to school".
@@chessnitemayr thanks lol
Now it’s: My school won’t teach disabled kids
@q.q It really doesn't. It's just fun to point out the title differences and amount of changes it has.
@q.q idk how about u? I mean its so fun for and unexplainable reason what do you enjoy doing?
I have a hard time believing that a girl from a poor village could afford a mobile phone.
Same 😂
Same
maybe her family is not that poor
@@elmin82 yes in South Africa in a poor neighborhood not a slum you will find at least one kid with phone or a old pc. Even in the commie blocks
You will find a person who has a medium income so yes it’s not impossible I agree with you there
Everyone has a right to what they want to achieve in, and should not be judged because they aren't the same as everyone.
I love these stories they make me sooo calm
I have a disability and agree with everyone that says children with or without disabilities should go to school
17 years ago? 2003? Social medias? She says it like it is so big as now
Plus she says poor family and yet has a phone which also doesn't look 17 years old . Sus af
My guest has an Arabic translation of your videos because I am Arabic and supportive of you
oh wow. this is very tragic. :(
Poor girl

Awesome! Well done girl!
I do go to special school for blind and I love being there but I graduated from school and we will do our prom in middle of June and I can see and I love helping my classmates that they're blind

south asia looks like india nepal or pakisthan. Trust me i am from nepal and things like this happen weather for gender, cast or ability's i am very fortunate to have been born in the city but-

My twin brother is blind so we used to study in expensive private school. But when we got to choose highschool we both chose another really expensive private highschool but this time we signed up for scholarship and we both got the scholarship( i barely made it ) he got full scholarship and i got half scholarship. This proved that my brother is blind not dumb. People acts like his made up from glass however my brother end up being one of the top students. So I thought my brother wouldb't be able to reach today if my parents didn't let us go to private school bc every ordinary school denied him.
This is so sad
Love your videos
I hate school , but after seeing this I’m going to appreciate I can go to school , even if I don’t like it I have to get a education

This video is really inspiring not fake like blah blah but about discrimination.Well i can tell you that from Wednesday it was a normal day but not until a big break and boys started making some pranks to me but it wasn't a prank but word you shouldn't saying like terrorist and refugee I knew that and I told a teacher they was so shocked then she talked a another and boys apologies to me about fews minutes later boys got busted for insulting then our teacher must speak with boys about fews days later in subjects history we must cancelled and speak out that for all us so on Monday we've returning to normal.
Wait no sexual assault in this video
Damn i miss internet cafes.
I DONT WANT TO LIVE ON THIS PLANET ANYMORE
😌❤❤
This!!!
Um did I read the title wrong or sumn'
how was this 17 years ago? phones didn't have social media back then.
There was no sociaal media 17 years ago
There was social media 17 years ago it just wasn't so big and mobile like it is today, I'm 19 also there are articles about it all over the place and all over the internet
This seems like an Indian girl fighting for the right of education. The names and the illustrations, it seems like my home. I’m Bangali, we are Indian descendants that changed religion and later fought for an independent country. People should stop calling us indian because we are not, we are and independent with an independent name.
Still haven’t forgotten about that video about that girl being bullied for being homophobic. I unsubscribed for that, but honestly since the story mentioned she cried a lot I think it should’ve went into detail on how miserable she must’ve been. I would’ve been so satisfied, she should’ve cried more lol
These schools should teach disabled kids

It's a real shame that kids are being discriminated for gender, race, ethnicity, disability, mental illness etc.
We didn't ask for any of the things that they discriminate us for. It was god who made us so deal with it.
We didn't ask to be born if you deny us for being here...
