“I am! That’s why she’s washing my truck for me.”
Lolzzzz! That’s brilliant
LOL! I could not resist...
And that’s why will forever watch this channel . At least Steve and April have a little sense of humor !!!!!
Steve I can't believe you spilled that beer.😂. Way to shut the neighbor up 😂👍
We should consider ourselves very blessed - when our spouse enjoys using tools that make our lives easier (whether it's a pressure washer or an air compressor, etc.).
The man describes all the capabilities of the new tools AND get’s April to do all the work! Brilliant!
Really shut that neighbor down. 😊
I’m all for purchasing new power tools to make my wife’s job in using them easier haha! Cheers.
Good choice!
Wait until you discover a hotsy (basically a hot water pressure washer with a diesel fired boiler). Add in the heat you don’t need as much downward angle so you can “twist” the bars to give you more angle and cause it to spin faster. That way you can push it as fast as you want without getting “swirl” marks
Steve makes me proud to be Canadian 🇨🇦
Right on BUDDY!
I am not a Canadian. Steve makes me proud to be a North American.
Steve makes me proud to be a naturalised Canadian.
Somebody already mentioned it but if you break the glaze on the mortar you're going to give somebody a bad time a few years down the road. I used to use a low-angle nozzle, move in on an individual brick, lift off / step back, move to the next brick. You don't want to be liable for damage, and these days people will film you doing your work if you're a contractor (as I was).
I never adjusted it the unloader; it's far easier (and maybe causes less wear) to drop the pressure with different size nozzles. Get good with your orifice sizes and angles and you just swap and move right along.
I don't know how well the machine is built, but I certainly don't see anything wrong with the little lady.👍
That turbo nozzle with that much pressure can do a lot of damage to surfaces being cleaned if you are not careful , It can shred wood , take out mortar joints and resurface masonry.
Agreed!
0:14 PARTY FOUL!
That rotary nozzle is $152!!! Wow!
Nice set-up...what was the cost of everything?
Nice to see a pressure washer do what manufacturers claim they do.
Great point!
My wife gave me a pressure whacking when I told her to wash my truck. It’s a two tone black and blue too.
That's a pretty good looking washer Steve.
Right on
OMG !! I almost fell out of my chair laughing at the neighbor story LMAO.
Right on buddy!
I believe that BE pressure washers are made here in Abbotsford. Good machines I own one ( not the commercial version)
Correct.
Looks like an awesome pressure washer!! Love to have one. But, on my budget, I'll stick with my old 3500 lb. Honda powered washer I got about 20 years ago. Great review!!
When I was in business, I had a very similar setup. Slightly larger pump, Honda GX390, 20" Whirlaway surface cleaner. Worked great!!! Thanks Steve
Thanks for sharing
Great job to the both of you for making this video! 😊
Thank You...
Hummm I know why Steve has to pressure wash his driveway , cause it smells like a brewery 🍻🍺
That hover Zamboni, wish you would have turned it business side up and filmed its action.
Awesome review SteveO! Two things , spilling the beer and HUNG 😂😂😂😂😂.! Total entertainment as always! Those attachments are definitely awesome and April definitely could be a firefighter 🧑🚒🤣. Hope you and the Mrs. Have a fantastic weekend! Cheers SteveO 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Right on Buddy! Thank You...
Flat free tires glad to see them on your new pressure washer Steve 😊
Me too!
@@StevesSmallEngineSaloon yeah buddy 😎😁😊
I WANT ONE!
A pressure washer is a great pre treatment tool if you want to apply some kind of coating on the surface. For the rest I would be very carefull especially with these powerfull blasting machines as they make the surface rougher and thus ideal for all kind of stuff to stick to.
I used to work on power washer pumps that’s a good pump. You need to put a water filter at the inlet on the pump . It doesn’t take much to make a check valve to stop working.
I never buy anything mechanical, new. If I didn't rebuild it, I don't use it. Even my truck is a 1996 that I rebuilt. Just teasing you a little bit. Looks kewl....
Awesome setup Steve 👍😁
Thanks 👍
Terrific video Steve and both of those products look to be well worth the investment. Also, I can relate with you on that hung comment! 😂😂👍👍 Finally, letting April do all the work was sneaky but right on point!
I have the exact same pressure washer and wirl away. They are awesome.
Right on
If you are buying a pressure washer get a 4000/4 as that is whatost of the attachments are designed for. Anything other than that you need a inline pressure guage to get te attachments that will put out the maximum pressure that your pressure washer is rated for. If you buy a 4000 psi nozzle and put it on a 3450psi pressure washer you will be putting out significantly less than 3450. Nobody makes a 3450 psi driveway cleaner. I had to buy a 4000psi driveway cleaner and block off 1 nozzle, ended up with 3700 psi. I got the pressure washer for free, wouldn't buy anything but a 4000/4. The industry standard is definitely the way to go if purchasing one.
Get a double turbo nozzle and be amazed.
April is pretty good help. She’s a keeper 😂
That is some machine Steve! Love it! Keep them coming 👍🏼
Right on Guys! Thank You...
Question Steve? My pressure washer has always had a backfire(ish) sound when shutting down. It's done it since new. Doesn't affect the way it runs. It's just annoying when you're proud of buying a quality unit, yet much cheaper units never have this issue. Was a detailer for years in my 20s. So, I've used my share of units. Possibly, the valves need adjusting? That's what I've read, but why would it do it right out the factory? Seen comments of it being an afterfire as though its suppose to do that. Too loud for honda engineers to intenionally design that loud BANG on purpose. Not buying it. Im fairly mechanical, yet people say adjusting the valves fixes the issue. If so, it shouldn't be out of adjustment off the honda factory floor. Again, its done it from its very first use. Especially a honda gx should not do this. Seems to be a common problem with the gx 160 on a pressure washer. Valve adjustments seem to fix it, somehow. Maybe, honda GX Quality Control is slipping here and there. It's a Northstar with a honda gx 160 and a Comet Pump . Got it 10 or 12 years ago. Stored correctly, 90 octane ethanol free fuel (ife tested it) and rv antifreeze in pump every winter. I even throw a 55 gal black trash bag over it while in storage shed and plug the water inlet to pump. 3200? psi and 2.5 gpm. Commercial unit. It's just a little smaller version of yours. Enough power for me and still running strong. I have a 400-foot driveway, but it's gravel. House, on the other hand, needs it, like yesterday (285 ft of gutters and exterior walls). "This spring", I keep telling myself year after year. Long rant, I know. Probably my longest post ever. Just want to be very clear on the nonissue-issue and hoping for some feedback. Im not concerned with it at this point, just very curious. Please, anyone chime in. Thanks again for all the great content, Steve
Steve, glad you have the big boy pressure washer. A GX390 is the way to go! I love the Whirl Away surface cleaner. The only issue is trying to find the right parts to repair them. What a PIA. I service equipment for a friend the does commercial cleaning and after he has an issue with them it’s difficult to find any reference to order replacement parts. They work awesome and I’ve borrowed it to clean my deck and driveway. Once you use one you wish you owned one. He also has a similar unit that has caster wheels. The time save over using a wand is amazingly better. Unfortunately the longevity leaves some to be desired.
We have a 3phase pressure washer at work ,if you turn it up to full pressure it tries to push you over ,it’s dangerous and rips paint off
I can agree, BE products are good. I've worked for a company in Santa Ana, California for 10 years, before the owners decided to retire the business. BE service department and the local representative. Shout out to Dan.. Great line up of products, $s most are repairable kits and grade quality Cat pumps, General,AR and Comet pumps. One thing doesn't come with 25 degree green nozzle that's extra. Also buy extra nozzles there is a chart of sizes Do not go to small like #30. Get a pressure gauge helps alot.
Steve how could you drop that beer, should of opened it.
I used those rotary nozzles to clean asphalt paving equipment...it would take you right down to bare steel....had to careful when there were thin pieces because it could cut right through them.
Nice setup you got there...

Got to say, it’s kind of fun watching what kind of pressare washes you got on the ”other” side of the pond! 👍 Used to work as a mecanic for a brand named Nilfisk over here in Sweden a couple of years ago. Biggest difference tho, 99% of ours are powered with an electric motor. Gas powered ones are not common. (Or diesel)
Got myself a laugh when i visited my local Husqvarna dealer, and found a Nilfisk pressure washer, with the orange colour! So now we have both Stihl AND Husqvarna, with rebranded washers from the same company! 😂
Have a good one you all!
Dont forget to make sure your water can supply what the pump requires.
👍👍👍. Thanks Steve
No problem 👍
Alright i'm coming over with beer, and going to borrow all this equipment :) Good video Guys !
sounds expensive. happy with my Briggs on sale.
Nice pressure washer. What is it, about $3500? I notice they don't put prices on their web site which usually means, if you gotta ask, you can't afford it. Way to shut your neighbor down though. LOL
Steve, Green Tire Slime is the solution to the majority of small tire puncture issues. It's wonderful stuff! Check it out!
tire slime is no good, ask a tire man who has to break down that tire from the rim what he thinks about it.
Awesome Dude...
Thank you! Cheers!
Good to see Steve getting some endorsement deals! Congratulations
Great video yet again, Steve!! See ya tomorrow, maybe ?
Possibly!
Nice video Steve's👍
Thanks 👍
I'm just tickled you said "all y'all" in the beginning... the proper plural use of y'all. 😹 April looks like she's really enjoying the new washer, very satisfying.
Thanks Stella. I pay attention!
@@StevesSmallEngineSaloon 😻
Informative and funny video keep them coming😅
Thank you! Will do!
Man your humour was on point today Steve! 😂
Thank You...I try...
Thanks for the info Steve 👍. From Melbourne AUSTRALIA 👍🤠.
Ps. Good apprentice 🤣
NICE 👍
Thanks ✌
Downstream Injector is what thats called 👍
Nice review. I think you could do well with most pressure washers with that pump and engine. Echo has one very similar to it as well, may not be the exact configuration but it's a GX390 with an AR Triplex pump, for about $1700. It's nice to see BE is a Canadian company, but I don't really like Vanguard engines, especially now that they're made in the States at the same factories that crank out their other crappy engines. It's nice that Kohler's an option though. I find it sad that some companies like Wallenstein have switched to Vanguard, good luck getting parts for those engines.
This brand is not available in the greater Knoxville, TN area. HUM
Great video.😂
Glad you enjoyed it
First thing I noticed ,STEVE is not cleaning his driveway !
What is the price for the pump....
I shed a tear for that dropped can of beer at the beginning. 😢
Was that stripped paint at the top of the wall from going a little too high with the pressure washer? I'd imagine that you have to be very careful with that thing.
I'll take the two with Robin engines on them 😏
Have that unit belt driven, also when cleaning concrete rinse off as you go along lov ya
Cheers Steve and April ❤❤
Love your jokes
She sold it for me 👍
Right on
Beer abuse!! Great video Steve and April.
April stop Steve from abusing plastic lawn chairs! He's a total wild man! Comet and Honda is a great combo. I have a Northern Tool Honda GX 11 Hp with a General pressure pump and it is 24 years old that starts on the third try. Hope yours lasts longer.
steve 100% HUNG
Steve how can you put your driveway under that much pressure without a raise in pay.
Hi man
3:30 Steve.... you probably should have mentioned the interchangeable tips before being hung.
When neighbor pops his head over you accidentally get startled and lose control of the sprayer and the fence gets sprayed.😂
Right on
😂😂😂😂😂
First for a change 😜
That is one bad boy of a pressure washer! Definitely the most powerful one I've seen. But Steve, we need to talk about something, seriously, starting out the video with a beer foul.... shame of all shames. 😪
OOPS!
I don’t recommend pressure washing your driveway with beer.
The beer is merely an organic "Pre-Soak" ! It'll be fine!
@@PaulThomas-qo9vy I grieve not for the driveway but the beer. It’ll be either evaporated by now or gone to the sea. Either way, it’s gone forever.
Was that a true story?
Don't cross the streams April!!!! 🤣👻🤣
WHO YA GONNA CALL?
🤣👍🏼🤣
My wife and a pressure washer? I have a better chance hitting the lottery! Marry that one Steve!!
O April is still around 😊!
Hung Joke ! - Freakin Top Notch ( lol

Steve, I enjoy your videos. You usually make it easy for us to buy, or get buying information on the products that you demo. It took a lot of time to find info on this washer. However, the only purchase price I found was ~ $1550. Another website only listed (without model#) 4000 psi washers. The washer with the Honda engine was ~ $2250. $1500 for the Honda engine could be in my range. This product seems difficult to purchase for a residential consumer. Could you help with some information, please? Thanks, again.
If you thinks that good try hot water.
Just a note regarding nozzles, both rotary and standard: different nozzles fit different machines. That is a 3000 psi machine that’s three gallons a minute takes a different orifice size nozzle than a 3000 psi machine that’s 6 gallons a minute.
Also, depending on size, your pressure washer might take a different size Whirl-a-Way.
There’s charts online to tell you which one.
I hate when you have to make a hundred clicks to find a price SMH.
Dang! I thought she was your daughter.😂
LOL!
😂😂😂
Honestly I have a Honda power washer that runs very heavy and I'll tell you what it sprays a heck of a lot harder than that with white let alone green if anyone knows what I'm talking about a grave because there's a few things left out here respect the video but not everyone has the best equipment or you should buy this you got to do and make do what budget you have which you may have a great one I think it's on the tip of the new one but the other ones so sick cuz I have it
I was hoping you would say no beer wasted but drank and filled with water for visual effect. :)
Is glyphosate illegal where you live?
Hi Steve, You could call it a grease fitting. The pressure washer you featured seems to be a good machine. That being said, you'll never catch me cleaning the driveway. It's a driveway that your car tires drive on. Let's not encourage people to waste water washing their driveways. Love your videos. All the best to you and yours. Rol
pick a belt driven. save your engine
