@@FloridaFamFive its just diluted bleach , refill the bottle with liquid pool chlorine youll have an endless supply for 10$ and it will work a lot better
I’m near the Lafayette area, so it’s fair to say that we have the same climate and issues with this. However, this didn’t work for me and it ultimately turned into me rushing to get my pressure washer to get it off before it was dry enough to damage it. I’m more embarrassed to admit that I paid $20 to give myself a panic attack when I could have just used the pressure washer alone.
I was convinced the first time I used the 30 second cleaner I was amazed on how well it worked with just the water hose. Walmart got it a little cheaper than Lowe's
I will have to try that out. Have you had any proplems with it vacuuming sealing. The container sucking in. I have heard someone said they had one the exploded on them. I know they don't recommend refill them.
@@FloridaFamFive It sprayed the same in my case. It’s just a suction feeder. I suppose if the bottle vent was plugged it would suction in. Or if the tip was blocked up it might feedback into the bottle. Just speculation. There are universal spray dispensers that probably do the same thing. The threads on thing have some anti-open features, but they are overcome with brute force. Seems a waste to make it a one time throwaway plastic sprayer for just spraying a small amount of bleach and soap. The cost of the cleaner is probably less than the bottle. It’s convenient no hassle single use thing for those that want the easy button.
Bruce just as well, the same, better than buying this stuff? I always used bleach and diluted it but if this works much much better and faster then I might go with this. I've been at my mobile home since 01 and the vinyl has faded some. I think sometimes I probably had too much bleach vs water and might have shortened the life span of the color so with this telling you how much to mix with water I wouldn't have to guess lol
Thanks for the demonstration; I will be trying this 30-second cleaner. -- Now, my "OCD" side wants another video on the cleaning of that dirty spot, right of the light. -- JodyTucker | July 4, 2024
It's pretty much just bleach with a little surfactant (soap) but costs a LOT more... Buy bleach at the pool store ( about $5 for 2 1/2 gallons) and add a little laundry detergent (since laundry detergent doesn't affect the bleach's effectiveness like dish soap will.)
This stuff works great, but if you have a regular size house, you’ll need at least three bottles, maybe four to clean your entire house. If you have a large house (over 3000sq fr) you’ll need at least 6 bottles.
Don't bother buying refills... this stuff is nothing more than bleach... with a tiny bit more water added to it. Don't believe me, look it up. So, just refill with dollar tree bleach & save 15x what you'd spend buying this.
I just sprayed the north side of my house which was covered with a light green mold. The red tab was removed. It worked great. Buy the refill; you will need it.
Worked perfectly for me as well. Yes, you will need more if you plan to do another 1/4 of your house. Thanks for letting us know how it worked for you!!
North Florida checking in. I cleaned the siding on the entire right (shady) side of my house for the first time since Sept. 2017 when I first moved in! It got to where I was embarrassed to pull into my driveway next to that side. In fact, local pressure washer people were taping their business cards to my mailbox! About this time last year, I bought a gallon and a half of Mold Armor and set both containers on the floor by my front door to "motivate" me. Well, that didn't work. A few weeks ago I passed by a HUGE display of 30 Seconds Outdoor Cleaner at Lowe's and thought, "Ooh! I LIKE the idea of '30 seconds'", so I bought 1/2 gallon of that, then watched a couple videos about the results people were getting, and how easy it was to use. I put on some old clothes, moved my car to another part of the yard, connected my hose to the 1/2 gallon, and started spraying. The DRAMATIC improvement within 20 minutes AMAZED me! There was one area close to the aluminum storage shed that was MUCH more stained than the mildewed part. It was HEAVILY stained, like solid "brown" (I'm mostly color-blind, so I'm guessing here). I thought FOR SURE that area was gonna need some extra product. I was WRONG! I couldn't believe how clean the right side of my house is now. Not only that, I had enough product remaining to hit the siding under my front porch roof, AND the back corner of my house. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND 30 Seconds Outdoor Cleaner. It's super easy to use and the results are noticeable. BTW, the side of my house is 32 ft. long with a 14 ft. high gable. That 1/2 gallon went a long way!
Such a amazing story thank you so much for sharing that with us. This stuff works really good and its easy to use. Can't ask for much more then that. Now you can be proud of your house when you pull up. Way to go. Glad you tried it out.
@@FloridaFamFive Thank you for inspiring me to get off my butt and actually TRY it! Now, if someone asks, "How long did it take you to clean your siding?", I can honestly say, "One year and 20 minutes." [1 year to get around to it, and 20 minutes to get it done!😄]
It does work, but depending on how much algae and black mold you need to remove, and how long it has been there, your results may vary. Keep in mind, this product is essentially just bleach, the spray bottle is the most critical part compared to what is in the bottle. I just spent the last 2 days treating the north side of our house (all siding) which was covered with green and black mold, and I hadn't cleaned this side for a few years, and the roofline is a good 25+ feet off the ground. Your water pressure becomes an important factor. The spray bottle does apply some compression of your regular hose water pressure, but from the ground, I couldn't get this to spray high enough, so I had to get up on a 10' step ladder in order to reach the gutters and soffits at the roof line. For each section, after applying, letting sit 2-4 minutes and then applying some more to the worst areas, and then rinsing, I still had to go back with the pressure washer to get everything off, so this wasn't the easy button for me at all. For my use case, with many square feet to do, and a high roof line, and with the black mold, I couldn't be super thorough with the product because I needed to stretch it's use a bit. I bought the spray bottle and the 1gal refill bottle, and pretty much used all of it. There was enough left for me to do a gutter and soffit section on the front of the house as well (no siding on the front). Net-Net is for a simple, not so high use case, where the mold amount isn't too bad, this will probably work for you, but having a pressure washer as reinforcement isn't the worst idea in the world.
Used it on my gutters and soffit. They come back completely White. But it took the paint off the aluminum wrap behind the gutters and around over windows. Turn it to chalk like substance and wash the paint off using a hose pipe and sprayer. I recommend testing before doing the whole job.
I just did mine and finished a few minutes ago. Spray the cleaner on to a DRY surface… wait 5 minutes… then switch to “Rinse” and rinse the cleaner off. That easy 😊
I have used this in the past. Yes, it works, but you have to be careful that it doesn't get on your flowers or plants. I mixed it in a pump sprayer and applied to dry siding. Let it sit for 5 minutes, and then rinsed. I would prefer an alternative mixture that won't kill the vegetation below the area being cleaned.
I wouldn't use near a garden. Best to use a ladder and a spray bottle for water so you can mist it off and not cause it to fly off and get in your vegetables.
$10.99 wasn't too overpriced I used to be able to buy generic bleach for $1 a gal. Now it is $4 and Clorox is $6+. So I bought this for the siphon sprayer to avoid getting out the ladder for the eves. It works about the same as bleach because it is 5% bleach (Sodium HypoChlorate). I refill it with bulk bleach and Dawn. Dawn ain't that cheap either...so every refill is about $3 worth of stuff. Sodium Hypochlorate breaks down to salt...however if you're worried about residue on plants or grass...fill the bottle with OxyClean+water or Peroxide and erase the bleach with the magic of chemistry. Peroxide(base)and HCl(acid) = water + salts.
I used “ Wet and Forget” on my house and the stains on my garage roof and with no rinse needed as stated on the bottle I wondered if it works. Well in time the mold, moss and lecithin disappeared from the roof and the mold on the siding on the house. Works great also on grave stones.
I know you mentioned it about fifteen times but could you explain one more time what each off the settings mean i.e. Off, Clean and Rinse. This instruction was the most interesting and informative part of the video!
It would seem that if you start spraying from the roof edge down the wall in a consistent pattern, instead of jumping all over and missing a lot, your results would be much better the first time.
This product surprisingly works and it makes house cleaning easier. I didn't think it would work but I had to try it because anything to make this job easier I'm on board with. I used my power washer when applying this product and it worked fine. This guy on here used way too much product when applying. Also, the instructions say to mix product with water because it's concentrated.
Man, worked great for you. I bought it after seeing so many positive reviews here on youtube but it didn't do anything for me on wood siding. I did use a hand sprayer for mine since they didn't have the hose version. I put a lot on to try to compensate but didn't do anything. Yours came right off. I'm jealous!
Its the hand sprayer is why it didn't work so great. Im working on a new video now should be out soon. Going over how the results for a sprayer are not as good as the 64oz bottle you just hook up your hose to. So watch for it.
Read the instructions on the bottle. It should tell you how much water to mix with their solution. For vinyl siding, you need about a 1% Sodium Hypochlorite to water solution. You will find this same solution to give an almost instant change on wood, so be ready to rinse right when you get the look you want. You don't want the solution to dry on your wood.
I'm embarrassed to say that I did my entire house on the Rinse mode. I had to watch a video to see that I was doing it wrong and should have had it on Clean. My brain just doesn't work sometimes. But it does make me curious if maybe you're doing the same thing. No offense to your brain!
@@downsizingontenacres.5927 I see how you could make that mistake. It can be a little misleading. Rinse could be interpreted as rinsing the algae mold off your house. On the nozzle, you could have overlooked the clean and maybe only seen off and rinse. In my video, you will see me start with rinse which is just water to act as a diluting agent for the runoff of the 30 Seconds cleaner below the siding so the cleaner doesn't bleach the area around it. Just a safety measure so plants, grass, etc don't get harmed when using this product. Did you get ot done? How was it?
@FloridaFamFive I got her done. 🙂 What a difference! I didn't have enough though, so I used pool chlorine and a dab of Dawn as suggested in the comments, and it worked just as well.
Wonder how this compares to Chlorox solution given that the active ingredient is the same. Also wonder if the sprayer holds up to multiple refills of "30 seconds" or Chlorox; ordinary sprayers tend to break down quickly when used with such chemicals.
you said it its diluted bleach chlorox is just a name for bleach the best stuff is the concentrated version sold at pool stores in yellow jugs thats this stuff concentrated, you can reuse the hose bottle and fill it with chlorine and some bleach safe soap so it clings to vertical surfaces
Got some last week and it stopped spraying product after 30 seconds. I guess it does what it says....only works for 30 seconds before the tubes on the inside break. The area I sprayed did come clean.
Yes just poor it right rigjt in the spray bottle. I used it full strength seeing you already have water coming out from water hose to dilute as you spray.
Can i use this on the underside of my soffits? The soffit has ventilation holes and was wondering if the spray and solution would get up inside the soffit holes and cause wetness, mold, rot, or ruin the insulation. Thoughts?
@@sophistrydebunker I wouldn't. What I would do is by this is a spry bottle then spray it on and either wipe it off and use a hand help sprayer more like a mist to wash it off. Anything sprayed to hard will find it's way threw the holes
@@FloridaFamFive I was afraid that was going to be your answer. The siding-like shell that covers the underside is filthy, greenish, and appears it hasn't been touched in years, maybe ever(I bought the house 8 months ago and asked for it to be cleaned by the realtor prior to move in but when I found out how they were going to do it, with a pressure washer, I said I'd do it myself later). The budget finally allows for the work to be done..... So you're saying use a easy solution (I'm a dawn, bleach, and vinegar fan) in a pump sprayers and lightly spray it, then try to lightly spray it off with the same sprayer(with just water in it) and hope for the best? Thank you.
Every review I've watched has said the same thing about how fast it's used up. But it works. I guess buying the hose sprayer with the solution in it and then buying the gallon concentrate would be the next best thing. We have patio furniture that's just gotten filthy with mold and mildew. I'll buy a pump sprayer and the gallon concentrate and hand spray the stuff in the street. All these types of cleaners make me nervous with plants around the house.
Its just not the same when you go to reuse it. Its a mixer of stuff that is in the spray bottle and why it works so good. Most of it is bleach but not all of it. The gal bottles don't have the same mix to use that to fill back up 64oz bottle. Results are not the same.
@@FloridaFamFive I finished spraying the furniture in the street this afternoon. The gallon put in a sprayer was terrific. But you're right, it's basically bleach. I could smell it as soon as I poured it in the sprayer. It's drying in the front yard and getting ready to go back to the patio in the morning.
@@beebob1279 oh good im so happy it worked out for you. I find the 64oz bottle work ok when you fill it back up. It's not the same but its ok. Overall I really like the 30 seconds outdoor cleaner.
Always do a small area to check and make sure its ok. I haven't had any problems with this but yours may be different. Its best to spray just water on area you don't want to clean. This will help with any run off. But you should be ok.
The main ingredient in this product is Sodium Hypochlorite ( BLEACH) you would be better off going to Walmart getting 1 gallon of the 10% pool shock and mix with several gallons of water in a pump up and the same results for a fraction of the price..
It absolutely Ruined my gutters. They now have gray spots. Walmart won’t refund my money, told me to dispute the charge with credit company. It didn’t make a difference on the patio. Reviews were so great, thought this will be quicker than power washing, waste of time and water. If I lived closer to their manufacturing plant, me be giving them a visit!
Just used it this year to clean my highest peak I couldn't react without going up a long ladder. Amazing stuff, cleans in MINUTES as well as the pressure washer does....very easy!! But wear safety goggles and old clothes because you are spraying bleach somewhat.
I used this product, I attached it to the hose and turned the nozzle to clean but it didn't seem to release the cleaner. I tried it three times soaking the patio for 15 minutes and the bottle was still full. Has anyone had this problem. Possibly I have a defective bottle??
Its all in what works for each person. Finding that right setup and it works I would keep with it. The best product is the one that makes you happy. Thanks for checking out our video!!

@@sandmansimms5704 do you plan on using 64 oz bottle and refill it. If so I would put straight bleach in the 64oz bottle. The water will mix it just fine.

So not sure I will probably use a backpack sprayer I mean because if I feel The jug I still got to pour it in the sprayer so maybe even so I'm walking right now and I'm using speech to text so I hope it don't screw me up LOL. I used it in a white aluminum patio cover and it worked great. But yes the bottle empties very fast. Buy the refill bottle if you need more.
I was convinced the first time I used the 30 second cleaner I was amazed on how well it worked with just the water hose. Walmart got it a little cheaper than Lowe's
Best product ever, I been using for years. The best!!
Your 100% right!!!! Glad you checked out our video!!!
I've used it with a pump sprayer on my wood fencing, and it makes it look like new!! I love it, despite being a little pricey.
I like it in the bottle better for something I can see using pump sprayer like fence for sure....
Can you please share the type of pump you used ?
@@hanaaammar4022 I used the hand pump gallon type, with small hose and a handle, available at Home Depot
Bleach and dishwasher soap work just as well. I refilled that sprayer with the same.
I wash my house with jet dry that you use in your dish washer it make your house shine and it cleans great
Thanks for the demonstration; I will be trying this 30-second cleaner. -- Now, my "OCD" side wants another video on the cleaning of that dirty spot, right of the light. -- JodyTucker | July 4, 2024
@JodyTuckerDotCom it's paint slot. I hope this puts your OCD at rest lol.
Do you use it with a pump sprayer
This works unbelievable! Great product and so easy to use
@@acorona1963 glad it worked for you. This stuff is easy to use.
Three minutes or five minutes. It’s good. I’ve used it. Good stuff.
@@muchkneaded Thats so funny...
What kind of siding do you have?
Not sure what you mean. Regular siding i guess.
Just used it this week. Worth every dime. Just put first round on wait two minutes and out second on. Wait two minutes and rinse. 100% recommended
@@2Amend4Life glad to hear that.
It worked for me almost immediately. I love it!
I just did mine and finished a few minutes ago. Spray the cleaner on to a DRY surface… wait 5 minutes… then switch to “Rinse” and rinse the cleaner off. That easy 😊
So glad you got it clean. Thanks for sharing with us!
I used it on my home; this stuff is amazing.
@@TonyRome402 that's so good to hear! I'm a fan for life!
I use your video for inspiration we're doing the house my house with 60 seconds cleaner it worked awesome
That's great to hear! Thanks so much.
$10.99 wasn't too overpriced
I used to be able to buy generic bleach for $1 a gal.
Thanks for the break down. Your right bleach has gone up so much. This works for a reasonable container. Refill as needed...
Good informative video...

Same here. This is the best
It works but only reaches windows on our second level but not beyond. If you have a single story home it’s great product.
Its meant to hit the second floor but I felt it struggled to get that high.
I used “ Wet and Forget” on my house and the stains on my garage roof and with no rinse needed as stated on the bottle I wondered if it works. Well in time the mold, moss and lecithin disappeared from the roof and the mold on the siding on the house. Works great also on grave stones.
That is good to hear. Thanks for sharing 👍
Wet and forget isn't fast, but it does work and works for a long time. Kills algae and causes it to flake off.

Your right thats true 👍
Swimming pool shock mixed with water in a pump up sprayer is hands down the best for vinyl or wood!! Next😊
It would seem that if you start spraying from the roof edge down the wall in a consistent pattern, instead of jumping all over and missing a lot, your results would be much better the first time.
Your 100% right. Less waste
Thank you for your very clear explanations. It's better to do it that way than to do everything by hand on a ladder. Thank you for this sharing.😀👍🇨🇦
Glad to help.
In Canada, any professional roofer or siding contractor will tell you not to spray water into the soffit. Obviously it doesn't matter in Florida.
In my video, you will see me start with rinse which is just water to act as a diluting agent for the runoff of the 30 Seconds cleaner
below the siding so the cleaner doesn't bleach the area around it.
Will this stuff help with oxidation on powder coated/painted metal siding ?
@@ada-yw1bb I'm not sure.
Oh no. I would take it back to the store and tell them what happened. That shouldn't of happen. Im so sorry to hear that.
Can you use the concentrate full strength in the hose end sprayer or must you dilute? Thanks
Yes just poor it right rigjt in the spray bottle. I used it full strength seeing you already have water coming out from water hose to dilute as you spray.
yes it works
Thank you.
@@sophistrydebunker yep you got.

Pre wet your plants and rinse after your done with the cleaner.
Use pool chlorine it doesn't kill plants!
Do you have to spray down your shingles along the edge before applying this stuff? Will it bleach the shingles?
Always do a small area to check and make sure its ok. I haven't had any problems with this but yours may be different. Its best to spray just water on area you don't want to clean. This will help with any run off. But you should be ok.
