An image fixed to your point of view isn't AR. it's just a head mounted display. AR would mean the image you are seeing is bound to your environment (like it is on Quest 3) hence AUGMENTING your REALITY putting a screen on your glasses doesn't make something AR.
Yes. It would have literally blend into the real world while intergrating into the space before you ,much like how you can watch a movie in vr with it stayin in one place (3d sense) but in the real world. Also without litrally blocking your eyes from the outside, like a vr would.
I do agree, but in terms of what we have glasses are limited in technology, very few/next to none bar the hololense actually allow true augmented reality
I love that you didn't give a direct number of how much the glasses were. Also what I'm waiting for is VR chat to make AR chat. That would actually be rather interesting if that actually happens.
You don't get perfect/deep blacks from these, perfect black in AR glasses is completely see through. The advantage of OLED in AR glasses is that each pixel (or rather sub pixel group) is it's own mini projector which is reflected into your eyes, perfect black is just pixels turned off.
I'm sure people must like it, but I've never understood why VR headsets offer such small screens (as well as other, larger options). Personally even sitting in bed I want to feel like I'm at the cinema. Fill my FOV please! The image here looks more like a screen across the room. Fine for TV but missing the cinema feel.
Technology isn't there yet. But I mostly agree, though I like this application as it stands. I have a monitor in a glasses case that I can take anywhere.
Ads galore.. and the rokid station has decades ago outdated hardware inside of it.. ot even with smarttv stick prices (which also have the same outdated hardware) They could had even put in a low end snapdragon 4 gen 1 processor.. or any 400 series snapdragon.. or low end mediatek... but no, this company embeds a gigantic, energy consuming, very slow responsive soc... with 32 gigs of storage.. hurray, 32 gigs of storage is better than 16 gigs those tv sticks have.. 2 gigs of ram.. and gigantic chip leads to slow responsive response time.. let alone inability to connect to Bluetooth earphones (needed because audio speakers is so quiet) Reported this guys video as misinformation, and I've suffered 3 lying commercial ads injury ... from watching this misinformation

Very true

Stuff like this just makes me super excited for Deckard even more.
For that price i would prefer a quest 3 or the 3s and a couple of batteries.
Quest 3 is 500 grams these AR glasses are 75 grams MOLED
Quest 3 lcd screens are trash. There’s no black, just dark grey.

Prices change, and with you habing the internet, itd be easier to search it up thatn whine. Think about that.
I wish people would stop calling these screens for your face AR glasses.
2:00
So the Rokid AR Joy 2 and the Rokid AR Max 2 are the same device? I'm confused, lol
“0.00 to -6.00 ensures you don’t need to stack your regular glasses underneath.”
Me with -8.00D 👁️ 👄 👁️
how does the delay compare to a physical monitor?
Well it's hard wired so the latency would be good, however I don't think it would compare, a physical monitor will always give you the advantage

To be fair you do get a cover which makes everything black
They were always good

I rarely sit close enough at the cinema to fill my vision.

How close is the screen to your face ? Will it be a bigger screen that sat 2 meters away from my 65" Tv
I'd say it feels about 2.5 meters away
i know rokid max 2 is good but should i wait for rokid station 2?
That's a good question, I haven't heard anything about the station 2
Isn't viture at top of the league among rokid, rayneo and all other such galsses
i cant get netflix on my rokid station...but they are nice to have
What I dont understand is why are the Rokid ones soooo ugly. Xreal looks so much better
