I paid full retail at Bloomingdales, no regrets, you can pick it up cheaper at discounters now. This fragrance is a modern day sophisticated scent for the guy that has his shit together, no sweats or jeans hanging down to his knees. I've worn this to work, I'm a doorman here in NY, and received compliments on how good I smell. Great review Dallas..

About time lol. This was a Bloomies exclusive for a while and was able to sample it early on, but also knew eventually it would be at discounters. From my collection it is most similar to Amouage Honour Man with the sichuan (pink) pepper, vetiver, geranium, cedar and musk.
I need to check this one out. I really like the whole Artisan line.

I got my bottle like four or five months ago sometime in the summer of last year and the only issue I had with it like with all John Varvatos is the performance I mean they smell so good that you want them to last longer but they just don't 😔
It gave me the same vibe with Amouage Memoir man but lighter, more subtle, versatile and soapy? My new hidden gem from JV

I got this one a while back per your recommendation. It is really nice and very wearable. You are correct it does have a low projection and longevity. Yet, when I wear best mode fargs, if its not something fresh, it'll make me nauseous by the end of the day.
I can’t get behind vetiver. I’m wearing this scent all day for further testing but so far it’s not my cup of tea
