Great review as always Ash! This one sounds like it would be welcome in my wheelhouse. By the way, the cap on my Artisan Acqua bottle does that same thing. Great review as always, and I will definitely be checking this out, especially because if the multiple times you used the word “Vetiver”. Be well! 👍
I bought this one at Bloomingdale's but unfortunately they were out if 4.2oz so I had to have it shipped. The wait was excruciating but they gave me a bag full of samples to tide me over, including a .5oz deluxe sample of artisan blu

I was really looking forward to it i got a large decant of it and im glad thats all i got im i big fan of the house but this seemed like a half hearted effort to me ✌
My favorite is Pure hands down then Dark Rebel this one sounds interesting 🧐
Just tried a sample of St Vetyver from DS &Durga. definitely tweeked my interest.
JV fragrances have been popping up at rack stores for great discounts. Picked up Artisan Blu and Dark Rebel Rider. Blu is meh but Rider is 🔥. Maybe this one will show up.

Great review Ash. Bentley's Wild Vetiver has a similar turnaround in the drydown, where suddenly a quiet verbena starts peeking through and making things a bit brighter. Perhaps it's an innate characteristic of that particular vetiver accord?

This fragrance is right in the middle of TDH edt and TDH intense vetiver.

John Varvatos Artisan “Jason X” Edition - now that’s a real name for this one! I clearly imagine Jason Voorhees wears this vetiver scent in the space & do his thang.

Yep, def get the stink eye along with a barrage of questions on whether I needed another fragrance. Yes...yes I did
Mine isn't annoyed "as much" when I throw a fragrance for her in my cart or if I'm trowing one or two for me in an order I'm passing for someone else like my mother. I also try to make bigger orders to lower the frequency. If I order for me only I'll just put the bottles among the rest and not talk about it (unless it's my birthday then I'll feel more free to do so).
It's covers the cost and she still gets annoyed lol

You might be right on the grey color because you can't see the juice color that's why the bottle is grey!

Cheap version TM grey vetiver
bought artisan pure for the low low at Marshall's and took it back. It was super sharp and feminine floral to me, turned me off immediately. I'll check this one out though
Wow, I hated it too and couldn't believe the hype. I resold mine on ebay and got some money back. I really liked the original Artisan.
I really like pure. The slight herbaceous background I think is why. The weird thing is if I use too much it gives me a slight headache. If you don't use it relatively heavier than others it doesn't project much. But sometimes a light tonic kind of scent is all I really want. It's kind of like Boss bottled tonic. Not the smell but the effect.

Idk what it is but I don’t love vetiver. I haven’t worn this outside yet but I lasted about 20 minutes before I had to wash it off. Smelled awful
