Aye this might be a dumb question, but how do you know whether to line up for a run or pass? Just a down and distance thing or a reaction to the linemen’s first step?
Great question BIG Dawg. No question is dumb. Only the dumb thing is to not ask.
Down and distance is important but it supplemented with knowing personnel. Research offensive personnel such as, 10, 21 or 32 as an example. Knowing an offense’s personnel is huge to helping you identify if the offense is going to run or pass. Research Big Dawg. Great question. Let’s go to work !

Down and distance. Its an educated guess.
Would you want all your weight on you hand or be comfortable in your own stance?
