Great video. Our oven's fan forced setting just stopped working today, no idea why of course. Daughter baked some muffins, then my wife put in a banana bread dough mixture and after the 45 -50 min baking time she opened to check, to find a Luke warm oven instead of a 180 degree heat!. I am currently trying the Multi-function setting which seems to be working just fine. Any ideas or suggestions.
I'm not sure. The main tell-tale sign is that there is a ticking noise from the fan (caused by failed bearings which makes the fan hit against something it's not meant to). If you have the same oven as this, the air from the fan blows out the vents at the top (behind the gas burners) so if it's working properly you should be able to feel it blowing out when you first switch the oven on and you should hear the fan as well (bearing in mind that if it's a fan forced oven you will probably also hear the circulating fan as well as the tangential).

Hi Marv, no sorry I can't help you with that one. Best of luck
My oven is very humid whilst cooking could tangential fan be at fault?

Hi, great video thanks. Where did you buy your replacement fan from?
