Night's Gambit was crazy and Days with Dr. Yen Lo is one of my favorite hip hop albums from this year. I've become a huge fan of this cat. He says things in this interview (and in his music) that resonate with me deeply. From 7:26 on... man. Put your ears to this and listen to a guy that understands the art of hip hop and takes it seriously.
"There was another time when cats was like, "Yo! I didn't even write that rhyme!" or "I just spit that real quick." I was taking offense to all that. Aye yo B it takes time to sculpt. The Sistine Chapel was done in how fast you could do it. It took years. David was sculpted like, "Yo! I did that in a day!" There's no time on art..."- Ka

A humble insight, and most visible is your love and appreciation for your craft, the advancement of the art & the culture that you represent, You also stated that you're "blessed to be here" but on the real you're a #blessing to those of us who hear your words.
