Thank you for informative video. I plan to use the sme tank as you. Do you know if it's possible to mount the tank on left wheel well? Is it universal and can be mounted on left side too?
I’m happy it’s helping you! You’re going to lose a bit more space but you can do it. Probably is not going to be so close to the van wall frame because the bottom part is on an angle to fit the right wheel well. But it depends also on how much floor insulation you have. Hope this helps!
Hi Diego, Man I saw the close-up of you flooring in the beginning of the video.. wow it is beautiful 🤤🤤 Did you specifically choose the corrugated stainless steel inlet? I am beginning to see the IoT in your van ;-) perhaps you can opt for a small 20 liter wat jerrycan underneath the sink for pure water to drink? Anyways, great episode, Albert
Thank you! It’s real oak. Well…I was struggling to find a good grade plastic pipe with the right diameter so I switched for standard fittings. Then I try to use stainless steel as much as possible. I’ll decide what to do with the drinking water when the kitchen is finished. But yeah a small jerrycan is an option. Thanks for your support Albert!
Buonasera Diego (thanks google translate ;-). I am trying to write because I think your approach of the build is quit unique. But I am also writing thinking every bit helps regarding that terrible google algoritmes :-) are you in the Nord of Italy? I used to work in the US for an Italian company for a while, but decided the US wasn’t the country I wanted to grow old. Perhaps you know Snaidero? I worked for Dario Snaidero and Dino Taddio before he went back to Italy. It is there where I learned what proper Italian food is :-)) And how to design kitchens :-) One question Diego, Can you share where you purchased you lifepo4 cells? I am leaning to purchase the ones off grid garage recommend, or the the other RUclipsr “Ray builds cool stuff” but he seems, I don’t know to eager to promote. anyways look forward to your next video!
@Trebstimla Goedemorgen! 😅Thank you so much for the support Albert. Yes getting exposure on my videos is hard..I'm doing my best but the priority is to finish the van. Yes I live very close to Switzerland, north of Lake Como. No I don't know Snaidero, never heard about them here in my area. Italian food is the first thing I miss when travelling 😋. Anyway the LiFePo4 cells are from here: www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Qishou-Lifepo4-320ah-304ah-Prismatic-Lfp_1600251092337.html?spm=a2700.shop_plgr.89.4.6aec2e8aYNLYj5 Shipped from a warehouse in Europe, in Germany if a remember correctly. I talked with a sales named Amy Peng, I would buy again from them. So far the battery is performing very well but I need to test it on a deep discharge with the induction cooktop and the A/C. Hope this helps! Cheers!
Excellent , thank you I’m in progress doing the same on a smaller basic scale , but very useful video well done and good luck , looking at your set you remind me of an instrument technician 👍👍👍🏴🇬🇧🇨🇦🦢
I bought it in Italy from a local store but it’s the same as this one: www.reimo.com/camping-shop/wasser-sanitaer-campingtoilette/abwassertank-wohnmobil-und-wohnwagen/2054/frischwassertank-van-90-l
@@diegosvan Thank you for the link. Now trying to find a shop that will ship to the states. May cost me more after shipping, but i really like the shape and the two access covers on top.
Hey! I'm doing this same installation now! Which piezoelectric sensor did you choose in the end?
I used this one:

Still need to test it out but seems working fine.
love to see your building
🙏🏻😊

Complimenti per il super lavoro che stai facendo! per le acque grigie che serbatoio monterai?
Grazie!! 🙏🏻 ho preso un serbatoio sagomato esterno. Sarà uno dei prossimi lavori da fare.🙈
Can you tell me from where you have buy the water tank ?
Sure! From here: destinazionecamper.com/collections/serbatoi-acqua-camper/products/serbatoio-passaruota-furgone-90l
Thanks for sharing! Where did you buy the tank and how much does it cost?
Thank you for watching! I bought it on a German website (can’t remember the name) for about 200€

Thank you! 🙏🏻 I’m glad that’s helpful for you. I’m indeed an electronics technician 😄
I knew it ! I too am an electrician/ instrument tech nuclear. I took one look at your panels and knew it 👍👍👍🏴
I know I know…it’s a little over engineered 🤣
I like the shape of this tank vs the standard ducati wheel well tanks. Do you have a link to it or the name of the tank you used?

Usually it’s the opposite, you have a lot of stuff for vans that we in Europe don’t have!
