You do know God of war is only "loosely" based on Greek mythology right? Also I'm a pretty big fan of Greek mythology myself and I still love the God of war games.
5:20 everyone and everything has heard of the "ghost of sparta" that killed his own family in cold blood. And also carries their ashes on his skin. Thats why.

+eiji niizuma yeah because as much as they want to make you think that, hades is really not a bad person. It's not even like he did anything to be banished to the underworld by Zeus in the first place. Remember... Hades is not the Greek mythological version of Satan.
What's even worse is that Zeus wouldn't have stood for ANY of Ares crap. Zeus HATED Ares. He even once told him that if he had been born to anyone else, god or mortal, he would've thrown him into Tartarus and he should consider himself lucky to be born his kid. Zeus was more than a little tired of all the strife he joyfully causes. Heck, when Ares came back from a war and was deeply wounded, Zeus LAUGHED at him.
All the complaints about inaccuracies to greek myths I feel are pointless. If you look up the series on wikipedia, it clearly states it is LOOSELY based on Greek myths. The developers had to take some liberties to make the game enjoyable to play, they wanted to make an epic adventure, having a temple on the back of a moving Titan is epic, it sells the point that the temple is supposed to be an impossible challenge for any mortal, any mortal warrior can travel up a mountain to find a temple, a temple on top of a moving titan is something different, so it's not pointless. True there were not any desert sirens in Greek myth, but in the game's context, it makes sense, since the desert of lost souls is big, and the sirens would weed out the exhausted, dehydrated warriors who were weak enough to fall for their charms. The decayed guy at pandora's temple knew who Kratos was because he's a legend all over Greece, You have a point about the ship captain in Hades, it's likely he fell to his death, he can't really be digested in a DEAD hydra's stomach. Ares is supposed to be a boastful psychopathic asshole, the thing about Pandora's box is addressed in GOW 3, but I will agree this game could've done a better job explaining why it wasn't empty, but one who was savvy about greek myths could infer that Kratos was enhanced by the power of hope even without playing GOW 3. Why would it have been more interesting for Kratos to fight one version of himself? The symbolism is that he is protecting his family from himself, why is that not enough? Ares is all about fighting, so he's not going to kill an old enemy of his in a concise way, he wants to draw it out and make it exciting, hence the spider legs, he's called the God of WAR for a reason.
That's exactly what I was thinking. It's a video game. It's inspired by Greek MYTHOLOGY. Keyword mythology which means it's not real. If people want to add or change shit that's not real it's fine especially if a piece of work is inspired by that mythology.
fwwaller the thing is no one ever respects source material. A movie based off of a book? Nope. A game based on a movie? Nope. Movies based on games? Sorry! A video game based on Greek mythology? Of course not! It's because people like you don't care. They can call anything in the game/movie/book whatever they want regardless of what the thing is supposed to be and people will defend it. Take the Hobbit movies for example... I don't actually have to say anything else about them. If you've seen them and read the book then you know what's wrong with them. This game is based on Greek mythology! Do you have any idea how bad ass and action packed Greek mythology is? To say that they needed to take liberties with the myths in order to make the game enjoyable is a great example of the sort of shit excuses people make for this sort of thing.
0:57 - I guess the "noble hero" is already such a cliché that it sometimeis more interesting to play as "assholes". 9:30 - Nope, the box wasn´t completely empty. Hope remained inside it.
Yeah, noble goody goody heroes are overdone so it's fun to be an asshole sometimes BUT that scene was so stupid. I can understand Krato's if he didn't want to go through the effort of TRYING to save him, but all he needed to do was lift him up and drop him on the ground.
Sandro Swen That´s weird... the way I read it, all evils escaped from that box, except hope, wich remained in there. I don´t know why. That´s just what I read.
it was shown earlier in the game that Kratos would do anything for Sparta's glory when he said it to his wife, seeing his spartan army being massacred by the barbarians he knew he had to ask for the aid of Ares, and that didn't seem like he was begging for his life to me
THANK I'M SO TIRED OF THESE DOUBLE STANDARDS! WERE ALREADY OPRESSED ENOUGH AS IT IS TO WHAT OF OUR BODY WE CAN SHOW! I UNSUBBED WATCH MOJO FOR THAT MAIN REASON! THEYD SHOW SAWS GORE BUT AS SO AS SOMEONE SAYS FUCK:SCREW/SEXUAL INTERCOURSE OR SHOWS A FEMALE NIPPLE "OMG WE CAN'T SHHOOWWW THAT BUT WERE GOING TO PRETEND LIKE WERE FREE OPEN MINDED THINKERS BY UPLOADING CONTROOVERSIAALL TOPICSS!
Tits aren't a big deal. I doubt letting kids see some knockers is gonna scar them for life unless they are an old persons *shutters* I think the mindless violence is far more detrimental to a childs psychological development but yet it seems to be accepted as the norm.
"Wouldn't it be a lot more fun to play as a character with noble qualities"? Said no one ever. There's a reason games like GTA are so popular, and I doubt it's because the player gets to live out his noble fantasies.
Some people have complained that Pandora's Box is not really empty. To them, I write this response. "Scared, Pandora immediately closed the jar, only to trap Hope inside, as was Zeus' will. In other versions, Hope does come out, though the main purpose of the myth of Pandora is to address why evil exists in the world." (www.princeton.edu/~achaney/tmve/wiki100k/docs/Pandora_s_box.html). Even if hope was still trapped inside the jar/box and Kratos released it, how does hope work as a growing ray for mortals who are effing aholes? Answer: it doesn't.
Guys why you ignore the fact that it takes more effort for Kratos to take off a skull head than a satyr or gorgon head or that he struggles more to open a door or a chest than to tore a monster in half.
The God of War games are simply inspired by Greek mythology. They were never intended to be factually accurate or actually depict mythological events. Take that into account and 90% of these sins don't count.
GamingSins Just a few things. "Kratos is like Moses except different because Moses parted a sea not a desert, and Moses worked for God, not the gods. Plus, Moses wasn't a dick." Yes Moses was a dick... he ordered the deaths of people in Egypt, Mt Sinai and Jordan Basin. He had a "do what I say or die" and a "kill all those who are not like us" position. That qualifies him as being a dick. "Unlike the Judeo-Christian hell, Hades is not a place of fire." Yes and no Hades the underworld included Tartarus a place of fire and torment, Elysium/Elysian Fields where heroes and famous people went that exalted the gods and Asphodel Meadows where the hum-drum living other people went. "The Ancient Greeks had no concept of sin, let alone the forgiveness of sin" Well actually they did it was possible to offend the gods. It is also one of the reasons why people were sent to tartarus. There was also something considered a blood guilt. Hercules was considered guilty of that by killing his family under the madness induced by Hera. Which was one of the motivations for his 12 labours in order to get forgiveness. This is because in the greek mind you are still to blame and the idea of Hera sending madness to him was unknown. The concept of forgiveness of sin is also present as you can do a penance even back then to return to the ideal relationship with the gods. Even then when disaster occurred greek and roman leaders would lead ceremonies to appease the gods to get the offense lifted. The idea of appeasing the gods is not limited to one culture. "Re: Pandoras Box" Yes all the evils did escape but she closed the box to keep hope inside. They did fix that in later games.
As a Norse Pagan, I feel uniquely qualified to say that your saying that the gods aren't helping or whatnot shouldn't be offensive to pagans... Was hilarious, I thought it was funny, and true, since at least the Norse gods teach you to be self sufficient.
You know what I just thought of? If upon realizing Medusa was there, Kratos shut his eyesamd we would have tofight her in pitch black, with certain areas where she is illuminated for a few moments when she makes noises.
Some of your critiques were ridiculous. It's a game. Plain and simple. The game was great. You nick picked at every little thing. While you were valid in some areas, it's a game at the end of the day. It's a story.
for the most part i like all the everything wrong with series. but seriously this game never claimed to be true to mythology. it was a game aimed at entertainment. cause im pretty sure there was never a guy named kratos that did all this.
lightningslash 565 Zeus didn't have guardians as far as I know... The only thing that is called Kratos in Greek mythology is an IT not a person, but this myth is not even accepted. It's just a word and it means power/force.
If theres ANYTHING God of War taught me, it's that a true immortal doesn't exist on this plane of existence. Not even in literature. Even the Greek gods I thought of as all powerful (not a pagon) were able to be killed. Sure this is God of War we're talking about, but it still shows how fragile even gods are. Now if these gods existed on another plane of existence (such as heaven where true immortality is said to exist), then Kratos would never have stood a chance. Sure he would have killed Are's corpeal form but Ares would return with a new body and if Kratos faught Ares on HIS what-if plane of existence, then he would cease to be with just a thought.
+GamingSins you forgot the fact that when Kratos absorbed the powers of the Pandora's Box, he turned into a god, and then he fought Ares, thus disobeying Zeus's command DIRECTLY.
hahaha he didn't turn into a God, you think becoming a giant is what the gods can only do? plus if he did turn into a god (which he didn't) then why most of the 12 Olympians helped him including Zeus knowing what could happen
1:04 a protagonist with noble qualities is something that has been done so much that it has been driven to become the epitome of cliches. Kratos is a breath of fresh air because you finally play as someone with human qualities thereby being able to relate more to the character
A 3way with Madusa and a Harpy does not seem bad. Medusa would be riding me backwards cowgirl style so that I do not see her face. I doubt she could turn me into stone when its already ;)
It's a metaphore - the temple waited for next victims. Also, there is difference between sirens and mermaids. Writters have used only small parts, that's why the game is "based" on Greek mythology. I heard somewhere that the Gods actually could be killed by divine weapons, demigods, titans and other Gods
3:06 Executor Aldaris, the first executor advisor we know of in Starcraft 1, who guide us with vague tidbits of info during our time playing as the protoss, is amongst the gods in Mount Olympus, a place around 1000 light years from the Korpulu Sector.
+bloodrunsclear Worst yet those nonactive active gods are the reason Kratos is an even bigger dick in the two main games to follow. I mean shit he does what they ask but then at the end they screw him over? Dumbasses were just asking him to go apeshit the moment he became a God.
+Terry Jones it was imtentional that the Gods are depicted as useless assholes and Kratos has suffered from it his entire life thu making him the asshole that took action
bloodrunsclear What modern retelling is? Or really should be? I mean "very accurate" Athena's origin is that she was born inside Zeus's stomach after he ate her mother, after growing up to an adult inside him she then pops out of Zeus' head like a goddamn chestburster and he somehow lives....and for whatever reason she doesn't immediately get revenge on him the very instant she emerges. Even for Greek mythology that sounds fucking stupid, definitely needed a revision.
I realize Medusa in mythology could turn people to stone if they looked in her eyes, but given all the other liberties taken with mythology, I don't understand why its unreasonable to think her powers work differently in GOW continuity. She still turns you to stone, but there's a really obvious animation/sound effect when she's doing so. Any other time you look at her, it's perfectly fine. And it seems this power is given to all the other gorgons as well, when in mythology Medusa was the only one with this ability.
Also, Zeus' order of gods not waging war on each other can be interpreted as them not directly going up and attacking each other, but can allow them to attack each other through indirect means, such as attacking a city. This can explain why all the other gods are using Kratos to kill Ares, instead of them doing it themselves. True, the gods may not necessarily have been giants, but being shape shifters, what's to stop them from doing so? In fact all of the gods in the series have been shown to have a man-sized height at some point. Being the GOD OF WAR, wouldn't Ares have wanted to make an intimidating impression on whoever he decided to kill, the best way to do so by appearing as a GIANT?
GamingSins When he ordered the slaughter of all the woshippers of Bael, after humiliating them in a fair contest, he ordered them all murdered. That's a d**k move if I've ever heard of one xD
Pandora's box also contained "Hope." It was not purely bad, the Greeks used this tale to convey the idea that without problems, without strife and without difficulty, there can be no hope for better.
I thought gods don't die. If one of them got stabbed they would just heal later. Because in one myth it said it was used as a way of torture by hanging a god on the top of a mountain and having an eagle fly by and cut the god through the stomach and then it repeats.
willy poo poo you mean prometheus who gets his liver ripped out by an eagle every day because the liver is growing back. Prometheus isn't a god though but a titan
About the sin involving the one armed man knowing about Kratos being a Spartan, the Spartans spoke a different language, they had different accents and they had different dress from everyone else.
some of this sins are so lame, like a poor excuse to make fun of something... for example what's so hard to believe about a guy dying inside the stomach of a death mythological animal after several days ? or the simple question about the dead warrior, "how does he know kratos is spartan" it is common knowledge in their world that they guy with ash white skin and red tatoos is the "ghost of sparta" of geez, i wonder where the ghost of sparta it's from (?)
you forgot one thing, the locked door at the beginning that he could only open with a key. could kill gods, could destroy and knock down anything but couldnt break a door down lol.
GamingSins would you consider making a comparison between kratos and asura from asura's wrath. some people consider asura's wrath the japanese god of war.
lunerblade13 You mean a comparison video? If so, not for a while. I'm sick of God of War. If you're just asking if I would agree that a comparison could be made, then I agree.
Daniel Herrmann is it really picky to sprout an opinion. for the desecration this game has done to its original mythology, i feel he is justified for his disliking of this game.
ghost of sparta is what kratos is called, literally feared throughout the land. there are apparently tons of people who die trying to go up the temple (not sure how, but okay...), is it so unreasonable that the keeper would have heard from one of these constant streams of people, a stream so constant that a pyre burning multiple bodies at the same time is pretty much a regular thing?
Mordercai Near the blade of olympus, and artemis' sword don't even exist and in god of war 2, he gave the weapons back to the olympians, and also the blade of olympus was a trick to get kratos to give up his powers, making it unstoppable. Also, artemis doesn't use a sword, she uses knives, beartraps and bows and arrows. The knives she uses, are as long as her arms.
In a glitched God of War speedrun you skip many of the mentioned egregious parts, including killing Hydra and the desert Sirens. So that should reduce the amount of sins?
Add two more sins to this game. One: Hades is actually Zues' brother. And he's technically older than Zues as well. And two: none of the recognized works that recount the fate of Chronus after his children's ascensions to power say that he was banished to carry a mountain - let alone a temple to Pandora's Box - on his back.
2:13 in this world medusa has to clearly activate her powers, since in some lores medusa most open up her snakes and open her eyes as wide as possible or it wont work.
About Pandora's Box: It's evil inside it , put there by Zeus (in the game) but it's good and power put by Athena (again,in game). When Kratos opened the box he set free the evil too. Evil who "return'' in God of War 3 and corrupt the Gods. Play all the games then talk about them.
did this guy play God of War III? It explained about pandora's box danmit, it surre released all the evil and they affected the gods, Kratos used the oly thing that wasnt evil, hope..
I would add one more sin because Artemis' sword was used to slay a Giant, not a Titan; she was not born yet during the war with the titans. Later in GOW2 we see Hermes in that battle too, so there's that as well.
Oh my god(s)... I completely lost it when you said "Rubbish!" about the sirens... Although instead of "desert sea serpent" a funnier line would have been "What'll they have next, A desert Kraken?"
Building Pandora's Temple on Kronos' back wasn't pointless. The gods wanted to torture him, and I'd be pretty pissed if I had to carry a building around with me all day
Check out Axol's (our narrator's) book! It's free on Amazon.com between December 30th and January 3rd! www.amazon.com/Great-New-World-Axol-OLerpler-ebook/dp/B00RI9Z4N4/ref=sr_1_1?s=digital-text&ie=UTF8&qid=1419946834&sr=1-1&keywords=Great+new+World
Ähm about the sentence: did you mean the medusa before or after that thing with Athena? Also the harpy is described as a featherd beauty. I would not have a problem with a 3-way with before-Medusa and Aello. Who would? ;)
9:42 you are wrong about this one, the only change in the game is that the “power of hope” is in the box as well. The power of hope went to kratos and the evils from the Great War you mentioned go to Zeus and the other gods making them bad etc so And that’s why kratos fights them in the next games.
Can you tire in Hades or surrounding areas? I ask as being dead, it plausable that a persons endurance could be limitless (but his strength is still that of his original form) so the old man could very well have been hanging there for days (i mean does time move the same in hades as in the realm of the living?)
You do know God of war is only "loosely" based on Greek mythology right? Also I'm a pretty big fan of Greek mythology myself and I still love the God of war games.
And yet it's still pretty close to mythology
5:20 everyone and everything has heard of the "ghost of sparta" that killed his own family in cold blood. And also carries their ashes on his skin. Thats why.
I noticed a sin you missed.... remember how Kratos can rip a juicy enemy in half at the mere press of a single button? And yet it takes frantic multiple presses to tear the skull from a clearly very old... very rotted... corpse.....

37: If he killed him before there's NO reason not to kill him again. Maybe Kratos just doesn't like the guy.
38: God Of War made by Santa Monica Studios.
39: Not really. If you think about it, proving that your more powerful than (for example) your sister, might just make your father love you more. Or something like that.
40: Threats are a great way to win people's trust.
41: I'm not even going to answer that, I've made enough answers for that already.
42: Go on God Mode, and then fight them. OK?
43: Boss battles start for easy to not-so-easy. Or do you just not know the concept of Boss battles.
44: And that's why there's a sequel. Two actually.
like half of these counter arguments are invalid
+The Awesome Ninja you're invalid
Deez Nuts are invalid. Ha Goteem
Ha genius farmer
5: Actually Hercules in this universe already killed "The Hydra" , Kratos simply killed a Hydra

craxnor Hades kidnapped a woman.
ok yeah that was a dick move. But still that's tame compared to what every other god has done.
ariel sharpe of the gods surprising hades is the least dickish
Yeah he's just doing his job. He runs the underworld and he has to make sure that everything stay in balance.
+eiji niizuma yeah because as much as they want to make you think that, hades is really not a bad person. It's not even like he did anything to be banished to the underworld by Zeus in the first place. Remember... Hades is not the Greek mythological version of Satan.

THANK YOU!
True 99 % of the sins on this list was stupid.
I completely agree
Gui Caldo no, Hope was also what came out of the box, and into the world. It didn't remain there.
Sandro Swen That´s weird... the way I read it, all evils escaped from that box, except hope, wich remained in there. I don´t know why. That´s just what I read.
Gui Caldo well, truth is... with all the versions of the myth, you may be right.
It was sarcasm..of course the noble hero is done to death. "Sins" is comedy, not critiques
You forgot a sin. If it takes 3 days for Kratos to climb up to the temple, how has Ares not completely destroyed Athens at that point?
You forgot a sin. Kratos, a high ranking figure in Sparta's army, showing cowardice in battle)(begging Ares to spare him). Huge sin.
it was shown earlier in the game that Kratos would do anything for Sparta's glory when he said it to his wife, seeing his spartan army being massacred by the barbarians he knew he had to ask for the aid of Ares, and that didn't seem like he was begging for his life to me
My Sin for Gaming Sins: censors clip at 1:46 yet fails to do so for any other clip involving nudity.
4:35 It's personification. Of course a temple can't be patient.
"Wouldn't it be a lot more fun to play as a character with noble qualities"? Said no one ever. There's a reason games like GTA are so popular, and I doubt it's because the player gets to live out his noble fantasies.
+Highjack996 it was supposed to be funny not serouis
+bryce jackson Well making fans of games angry or mad on purpose isn´t funny at all.
Just stupid.
+bigggest bro well if u dont lile the vid dont watch it
***** Nothing like having a bunch of AI like you. I bet that makes you feel really good.
but i kinda see where he's coming from. it's starting to fatigue.
Haters gonna hate. And God are going to die by the hands of a pissed off mortal.
Shut the fuck up

Guys why you ignore the fact that it takes more effort for Kratos to take off a skull head than a satyr or gorgon head or that he struggles more to open a door or a chest than to tore a monster in half.
Duo Maxwel Ebenezer Atekwana
Wow, well-articulated and compelling arguments right there.
Axol was so awkward at first, holy shit. It's cool to go back to older videos because you can see how far these guys have come.
The God of War games are simply inspired by Greek mythology. They were never intended to be factually accurate or actually depict mythological events. Take that into account and 90% of these sins don't count.
exactly. thank you. he claims that kratos is an asshole but this guy is even more of an asshole than kratos himself.
I am sure the whole idea about this 'sins' videos is about being a picky asshole which makes it more fun nonetheless
U R RIGHT
FAC THIS GUY
ALSO I AM GREEK
AND THIS IS A FACING 2005 GAME U LOSER
GamingSins
Just a few things.
"Kratos is like Moses except different because Moses parted a sea not a desert, and Moses worked for God, not the gods. Plus, Moses wasn't a dick."
Yes Moses was a dick... he ordered the deaths of people in Egypt, Mt Sinai and Jordan Basin.
He had a "do what I say or die" and a "kill all those who are not like us" position. That qualifies him as being a dick.
"Unlike the Judeo-Christian hell, Hades is not a place of fire."
Yes and no Hades the underworld included Tartarus a place of fire and torment, Elysium/Elysian Fields where heroes and famous people went that exalted the gods and Asphodel Meadows where the hum-drum living other people went.
"The Ancient Greeks had no concept of sin, let alone the forgiveness of sin"
Well actually they did it was possible to offend the gods.
"Re: Pandoras Box"
Yes all the evils did escape but she closed the box to keep hope inside. They did fix that in later games.
horusrage in tartarus and the underworld, there is the phlegethon. The river of FIRE.
the best character in all of the god of war series is the gravedigger
I know he is zeus but his "character" as the gravedigger was the best and most lovable character
Well after Kratos' murderous events, pretty much everyone in Greece including the undead dude at Pandora's temple knew he was a spartan.
Puts a black box over the girls boobs in the bed but does nothing to conceal Medusa's boobs. wtf? lol
Or Oracles XD
+Rey Ruiz Exactly what I was thinking XD
I know!!!!
As a Norse Pagan, I feel uniquely qualified to say that your saying that the gods aren't helping or whatnot shouldn't be offensive to pagans... Was hilarious, I thought it was funny, and true, since at least the Norse gods teach you to be self sufficient.
Nothing wrong with God of War.
What the hell. The narrator went from American to sounding Australian (or something) and later British!?
You know what I just thought of? If upon realizing Medusa was there, Kratos shut his eyesamd we would have tofight her in pitch black, with certain areas where she is illuminated for a few moments when she makes noises.
That could've been an awesome little idea.
He criticized God of War, but all I herd was blah blah blah I'm a pansy ass.
Some of your critiques were ridiculous. It's a game. Plain and simple. The game was great. You nick picked at every little thing. While you were valid in some areas, it's a game at the end of the day. It's a story.
Even games need to confess
for the most part i like all the everything wrong with series. but seriously this game never claimed to be true to mythology. it was a game aimed at entertainment. cause im pretty sure there was never a guy named kratos that did all this.
it's garbage nontheless.
actually there is a krqtos in mythology but he is one guardian (winged guardians of zeus)but he didn't do all of this
lightningslash 565 Zeus didn't have guardians as far as I know... The only thing that is called Kratos in Greek mythology is an IT not a person, but this myth is not even accepted. It's just a word and it means power/force.
There was a cratos he was a lesser known character
How haven't you done Dante's Inferno yet? Can you do a video please?
Dude, the Pandora's box actually contains the evil here in GoW. It was later mentioned in GoW 3.
"I'm no analyst"
*Proceeds to point out and analyze any flaw he has with the game, or the game already has.*
Mythology can't be contradicted, only new versions can be made.
"One does not simply kill a god."
Unless you're Raistlin Majere, in which case...you simply slay all of them.
A 3way with Madusa and a Harpy does not seem bad. Medusa would be riding me backwards cowgirl style so that I do not see her face. I doubt she could turn me into stone when its already ;)
What you just said frightened me more than any horror movie ever will.
It's a metaphore - the temple waited for next victims. Also, there is difference between sirens and mermaids. Writters have used only small parts, that's why the game is "based" on Greek mythology. I heard somewhere that the Gods actually could be killed by divine weapons, demigods, titans and other Gods
Oh also I would like to ask you cover Assassin's Creed next. One of the early ones.
3:06 Executor Aldaris, the first executor advisor we know of in Starcraft 1, who guide us with vague tidbits of info during our time playing as the protoss, is amongst the gods in Mount Olympus, a place around 1000 light years from the Korpulu Sector.
Are you guys gonna sin the new god of war
Probably.
Gamingsins just did that.
This guy's voice is perfect.
More of him
Thanks for pointing out what a dick Kratos is.
That and the weirdly nonactive active gods in this game really irritated me.
It's all part of the service!
Dragon Klan It's not very accurate to Greek mythology...
bloodrunsclear What modern retelling is?
"-Moses wasn't a dick." Pffffttt-Haahahahahhhahhaaa...... I think you should read the bible then xD
jalioswilinghart When was Moses a d*ck?
GamingSins When he ordered the slaughter of all the woshippers of Bael, after humiliating them in a fair contest, he ordered them all murdered. That's a d**k move if I've ever heard of one xD
jalioswilinghart Fair enough.
GamingSins ... I guess Moses and Cratos has something in common after all xD
Reference?
Pandora's box also contained "Hope." It was not purely bad, the Greeks used this tale to convey the idea that without problems, without strife and without difficulty, there can be no hope for better.
Check the first video in a new series: Game Philosophy 101 - Excusable Assholes in 3 Minutes or Less
Ok. Thank you😀. I must have misunderstood.
Ok
+the killer no i wont
I extremely enjoy your videos! You are one of the best cinemasins spin offs I have seen!
I liked the old commentator more to be honest. This guy is good, but I don't know. You should alternate the vids you narrate.
You're right, Pandora's box isn't a cage for a time lord, the pandorica is.
oliver gaither Touche.
*2:07** - SO YOU SHOW MEDUSA'S TITS ...*
but you refuse to show the tits of the 2 women on the bed?
Do you have a thing for scary tits? lol
I decided to censor the women's breasts because they're women. Medusa isn't a woman, so I don't care about hers.
GamingSins Then what is it.
BlackGamer600 What do you mean?
GamingSins
what do YOU MEAN! XD
GamingSins what is medusa?
About the sin involving the one armed man knowing about Kratos being a Spartan, the Spartans spoke a different language, they had different accents and they had different dress from everyone else.
some of this sins are so lame, like a poor excuse to make fun of something...
for example what's so hard to believe about a guy dying inside the stomach of a death mythological animal after several days ?
or the simple question about the dead warrior, "how does he know kratos is spartan" it is common knowledge in their world that they guy with ash white skin and red tatoos is the "ghost of sparta" of geez, i wonder where the ghost of sparta it's from (?)
you forgot one thing, the locked door at the beginning that he could only open with a key. could kill gods, could destroy and knock down anything but couldnt break a door down lol.
the game is for me one of the best game but its a good video
4:37 I was hoping a desert sea serpent would appear
Same
this may sound stupid, but is kratos real in mythology or was just made for this game.
NO!!!
GamingSins then you should wait if you can make such a video.
do you have a opinion on asura if you have either heard of or played the game?
Daniel Herrmann is it really picky to sprout an opinion. for the desecration this game has done to its original mythology, i feel he is justified for his disliking of this game.
I love how everyone on this channel forgot to notice that the mythology presented in these games was a reimagining of the typical Greek myth.
I'm sinning this video for not censoring Medusa's boobs
5:06 Obviously Cronos is meant to be used as another guard for the box.
please reupload gow II sins video
Where gow 2 video
Hot girls in bed with their tits out? We've got to censor that. What? Medusa has her tits out, too? Hell, if there's grass on the field, play ball.
he differentiates human breasts to monster breasts. at least that is what i recall him saying in a future video.
lunerblade13 What about the Oracle?
Right...
ghost of sparta is what kratos is called, literally feared throughout the land. there are apparently tons of people who die trying to go up the temple (not sure how, but okay...), is it so unreasonable that the keeper would have heard from one of these constant streams of people, a stream so constant that a pyre burning multiple bodies at the same time is pretty much a regular thing?
Where was Artemis in God of war 3 and if the blade she gave Kratos could kill titans then why bother making the Blade of Olympus???
because the blade of olympus is the only weapon that can kill a god
+SkullcerPlays then how did kratos kill Zeus by punching him to death? At the end of God of war 3
Kc GIfford IS A DREEMUR IS ALSO SAIYAN AND GOD He had the soul of a god in him
Mordercai Near the blade of olympus, and artemis' sword don't even exist and in god of war 2, he gave the weapons back to the olympians, and also the blade of olympus was a trick to get kratos to give up his powers, making it unstoppable.
This is shit. Sex scenes are wanted, Kratos being an arsehole is wanted. Turning this off.
You call these sexscenes?
Dude theres a new thing called porn, google it, good shit.
Check out Everything Wrong With God of War 2 In 14 Minutes Or Less !
You know that Moses in the Bible was a huge dick right?
"sentence : a 3way with medusa dans a harpy"
I don't remember this episode of monster musume
Is this a joke or do you really not know anything about the god of war franchise.
Ian Drsaurri That overrated franchise? It justs sells because gore and sex.
PatagonicBlu3 * Half of the points were just ridiculous and sound like jokes.
PatagonicBlu3 * and a good story!
The Beholder 7 The story is pretty good. I don't understand people who say it doesn't.
2:13 in this world medusa has to clearly activate her powers, since in some lores medusa most open up her snakes and open her eyes as wide as possible or it wont work.
This dude is a idoit the game is fuking good
About Pandora's Box: It's evil inside it , put there by Zeus (in the game) but it's good and power put by Athena (again,in game). When Kratos opened the box he set free the evil too. Evil who "return'' in God of War 3 and corrupt the Gods. Play all the games then talk about them.
Everything right with God of war, everything wrong with you.
I think the sin about Kratos meeting the ship captain still hanging on is invalid because I believe time moves much slower in Hades.
did this guy play God of War III? It explained about pandora's box danmit, it surre released all the evil and they affected the gods, Kratos used the oly thing that wasnt evil, hope..
Pandora did manage to capture hope in the box thereby allowing mortals an oppourtunity for redemption for said escaped evils
I would add one more sin because Artemis' sword was used to slay a Giant, not a Titan; she was not born yet during the war with the titans.
Later in GOW2 we see Hermes in that battle too, so there's that as well.
You sir know Mythology, that makes me happy.
Note on the greek mythology. Pandoras box isn't empty. It still contained hope.
Quick question:Why is the oracle's hair red in the cutscenes (7:37),but dark brown in the game? (3:36)
Pandora's box isn't empty, it still has hope inside
Why use the GoW Ascension logo at the beginning?
I love you so much!
Keep going with the good work!

Btw, a patient temple is considered personification. This is considered a form of poetry and is in no way bad play-writing.
Don't pandora's box have "hope" with in it.... i mean that sounds mcguffin enough to fit what ever the situation needs at the time to not be hopeless.
It's hard for someone to answer a call if nobody's home.
Ähm about the sentence: did you mean the medusa before or after that thing with Athena? Also the harpy is described as a featherd beauty. I would not have a problem with a 3-way with before-Medusa and Aello. Who would? ;)
Patient Nr.0 Why Aello? Why not Kelaino?
Almost all your game sins are taken at face value as if you just started playing the game for the 1st time ever each time you counted a game sin.
9:42 you are wrong about this one, the only change in the game is that the “power of hope” is in the box as well. The power of hope went to kratos and the evils from the Great War you mentioned go to Zeus and the other gods making them bad etc so And that’s why kratos fights them in the next games.
Make a video for god of war chains of Olympus and god of war ghost of Sparta
Can you tire in Hades or surrounding areas? I ask as being dead, it plausable that a persons endurance could be limitless (but his strength is still that of his original form) so the old man could very well have been hanging there for days (i mean does time move the same in hades as in the realm of the living?)
Fun fact after Pandora opened the jar/box only hope was left in it
Correction: once the box/jar was closed, only hope remained inside the box
Pandora box wasn't empty at all. There is one final soul in the box which is hope.
siren=greek mythology, they are similar to herpes, but they enchant you with their songs
mermaids=folklore,they live in the sea.
