Thanks for taking time for making this video. 4:30 onwards I see Skyreat more on the cool blue side but freewell has a green tint. The sky looks weird and even the white building has a green tint. I was not sure how you prefer that.
This slightly improved in DLOG. Skyreat is definitely too cool for my taste.
Glad you found it useful I agree with you, one thing a lot of people don't realise is that every ND filter will change colours and you spotted them fully I have never come across a filter that is true colour but personally I prefer the Freewell ones cheers Hieth
I'd say the Skyreat are best hands down. They give the sky and the water a better blue, and they look like they have better saturation as well. I thought the Freewell filters looked kind of washed out. It was easy for me to tell which was which in all 3 A/B tests.
@@tommyjexiled nice one Tommy it is all down to personal preference I would tend to agree with you but I like the fact that the freewell ones come with the added advantage of an ND plus CPL but the colours are better on the Skyreat

Glad I stumbled across your video, I've had freewell before, but going for the skyreat after looking all bleddy day at filters and the missus is gonna be happy as the skyreats are cheaper! It's a win win.. 😅 so thanks for the video meht 😃 👍

Which filter would be the best to take shots of fish in shallow water or on the surface?
@@NairdA1983 I take it you mean for the Mini 4 if so then this CPL filter would be perfect amzn.to/3RXPmL4 or a combined ND and CPL like these amzn.to/3WaVF08 would be best of both worlds if you mean for another camera then let me know hope this helps cheers Hieth

Hard to tell between them, after the first test the Skyreat seemed better, the detail at 4:40 on the water seemed to stand out over the freewell amd the colours were better. But then the freewell had less reflections at 4:34. Got my finger on the buy button of ND filters... probably just a set of NDs, the CPL built in seems handy..... still looking at vids :)
I would go for the combined ND and CPL myself

Thanks for the video... was fun to guess though they were pretty easy to tell apart. I liked the Skyreat were my favorite.

Hi glad you liked it .... As for software I use Premiere Pro for video but have a couple of plug ins I use sometimes but mainly rely the Premiere Pro Lumetri and my Luts hope that helps cheers Hieth

Thanks for the video ! I had a mini 3 Pro for which I had DJI ND filter set and Freewell ND/CP set-. When I started using the ND/CP filters, I got sun reflection artifacts, light leaks too many times, what I didn't get when using the original ND filters. I realized that the structure of the turnable polarizer might cause it, because the simpler, dark glass of the ND filter somehow prevents it. Could you confirm this phenomenon ? I've just bought a Mini4 Pro and a bit clueless which set to buy, a 6 pack ND filter set, or the 6 pack ND/CP set. Dont wanna buy both. Thank you !
Hi Greg I have not noticed the Artifacts and light leaks on the ND/CP myself but I cant guarantee that 100% at certain angles of if they are not set up correctly on the H or V personally I would go for the Multi pack as they are on a special deal with Freewell at the moment here is a link www.freewellgear.com/en/dji-mini-4-pro-nd-filters/1157-dji-mini-4-pro-filters-mega-16pack.html?affp=32932 they also have a Night Time Filter in that pack which is good, if you don't want to spend that much I would personally always go for the ND/PL pack hope that helps cheers Hieth

Skyreat looks good..... however in Dlog m...freewell looks good...is that coz of the color grading ???
Hi Vikki - I did a bit of colour grading but only a small amount and applied it to both sets of test footage you have to remember the main difference is that the Freewell ones also have a CPL applied cheers Hieth

Hi Artemio the DJI ones are ok but the ones form Freewell are better and also come as CPL/ND on them and the DJI ones dont, plus the Freewell ones cost less - hope that helps and thanks for watching cheers Hieth
