The resolution is 4k per eye with the bet hand tracking in the industry . Zero latency because Apple has the some of the most powerful chips.
@DMProductions Bro!!! The things that the Apple Vision Pro goggles can do! I did a demo at the Apple Store in my area back in March, and I WAS AMAZED!! 4K quality, 360 degree vision of photos and backgrounds, and don't forget the 3D dimensions of pictures as well!! The background I was shown was somewhere near Arizona (I think), overlooking a cliff similar to the Grand Canyon, and wow!!! I looked down and it was almost like standing on the edge of a cliff in real life! You're right, the price range for the Vision Pro is out of my league right now, but if I can get a deal through my Apple contacts...oh boy!!!
Thanks as always for a great review! Goggles 3 do the trick for now, but the Vision Pro takes drone operating to a whole new level! For that matter, doing work, watching streaming and playing games totally in a new dimension is what we're into now. Oh, and also, they showed how you can also talk to others through avatars and have all your apps open to multitask. Even to share with others. I hadn't even thought of using them to fly drones with. Incredible man!!
the commercial airplane cockpit could replace all those monitors with other more useful equipments.
I can imagine air traffic controllers and the military will find it useful to show many screens simultaneously that are 150-400 inches each...that's a lot of information.
Hi Darren, I was going to ask if you could use it with the RC1 or RC2 or do we need to have the old RC controller? Then I found the price of the headset.. over £3000!!?? Looks like I’ll have to pass on this. Thanks for the review though. It looks awesome. 👍

Cool video. I've just been casually looking at the FOV Goggles option to use with my Mini 4 Pro. So, to clarify, you have to use the non-RC2 controller to use your iPhone? I would like to see the actual footage of flying the M4P with the goggles rot see what the scene actually looks like. PLMK if any other videos are uploaded on your channel of that feature. 👍👍 This really highlights DJI's massive fail of the Goggles 3 interface. While I enjoy the crisp and bright view flying my M4P with my Goggles 3, the limitations are beyond frustrating. Why can't we select the Fly App screen instead of the very limited Avata screen with its not-user-friendly menu system? And why is there no HDMI port, microphone, or built-in speakers? To get audio we have to purchase special USB-C headphones that have a built-in digital-to-analog converter! Also, Goggles 3 has the absolute worst FOV at an ultra narrow 44°! I feel like I'm wearing blinders as there is zero peripheral vision. While it's OK for flying high above any obstacles it's horrible for flying low and trying to avoid obstacles. Yep, DJI really screwed the pooch on Goggles 3. Hopefully they will at least add the Fly App screen and functionality in a future firmware update. Time will tell. BTW finally subscribed. That's a hefty price tag. Interesting tech usage for sure. Would this be possible with a Quest 3 headset? Maybe a more reasonable solution.
Maybe xreal or virtue glasses are cheaper alternative to see the screen in 3d

We flipping love you Darren, awesome video, best yet lol, wow i heard so much about these apple goggles but never seen them in action until you showed us it, so you litterlally edited videos whilst on the moon right? isnt that a awkward experiencer with no mouse or keyboard? im impressed with the movie watching netflix in your own private cinema, so you can do that whilst flying the drone? even though it maybe distracting whilst flying the drone, its still impressive, was that your daughter filming you on the other side? she did a great job, awesome video, feel like buying these already but as u said, its not cheap lol
Yeah crazy expensive but the tech is very very good! Movie watching is the best experience, editing is very good and you can directly connect to MacBook to have huge screen ! Thanks for watching ☺️

I have limited sight in my left eye (lazy eye since childhood) can you still see and operate the unit if you have sight in one eye ?

I know someone with one eye who has successfully used a Vision Pro. The unit automatically notices that there is only one eye and adjusts as needed (it has cameras looking at your eyes).

Is it not illegal to have a clear view of your drone at all times?
I was thinking this whilst watching the video, however I think it's a grey area.
The legislation states 'unaided' view of the UAS, vision pro really isn't aiding your vision of the UAS, it's actually hindering it as it's lower quality than your eyesight and has no zoom lens?

I have the meta quest 3, and the experience casting your phones screen is leagues below what you’d experience using the Vision Pro.
I’ve used it and it’s cool but the Vision Pro is way more expensive but the screen quality is excellent

With a Mini 4 Pro, the controller that has a phone mounted to it is the DJI RC-N2.
Problem with ll this stuff is you pay a fortune for this stuff and it out dates iin a year maybe less I had the BT200 & BT300 paid £600 for one £700 and they just out date to quickly I still have the paper weight otherwise known as the BT300. Just useless now.

@@DMProductions agreed on the screen! Not so much for the experience. I mean, Vision Pro's honeymoon period ended and there are plenty of negative reviews and news reports on customers returning them because the experience really wasn't that much better than the Quest due to the lackluster developer support. With that likely not changing anytime due to small customer base of under 300k (not including returns) which is becomes apparent when you compare to how many units the Quest has sold (20+ million)
Not denying Vision Pro is not an amazing device hardware-wise! It just sadly arrived dead on arrival with that price tag. Here's hoping Apple releases a cheaper, sub $1,000 version of it for the masses. Competition is a wonderful thing for everyone.

Yeah, this is useless unless you already own the headset. Much better to just buy an Avata 2 for 1/3 the cost and use its goggles with your new Avata and Mini 4 pro.
That's VLOS out the window for non-FPV drones, and far too many distractions besides. Goggles 3 are specifically for flying drones only not watching Netflix so not a good comparison really.
I get what you're demonstrating and why from an entertainment POV but its not really relevant to drone flying is it and i've no doubt they are eye wateringly expensive. Perhaps you should compare them to the Viture Pro XR, or Xreal and others that i bet are a lot less expensive than apple, but what else do you expect from Apple other than a good wallet raping.
I do have the Xreals and pretty cool but it’s no comparison, the price tag is huge but the quality is also crazy
