    I have used interpolate density mask and picked a vertex group for my hair/fur. This works fine, however, how do I move the "strays/curves" that are distributed across my whole body-mesh to the vertex group? Snap to, that I found in another tut does not work. I guess I can manually move them, but what would be a faster way? I notice you simply erased most of them, however, if I do that, I have only a few strands on my head. I guess I need more to be able to manipulate it correctly.

    What's the difference between quick fur vs adding empty hair unto model mesh?

      Quick fur has frizz, interpolate, and few other modifiers already added, while for empty hair you will have to add them manually
