Y'all are so adorable and a breath of fresh air. You remind me that there are kind, loving folks out here who care about their world and the world around them.
Knowing that I will probably never get the chance to see places like this makes me want to cry! However, Having people like you 4 to show me and others how beautiful the world is, is amazing! thank you.
What a great series of episodes....a refreshing detour from your backpacking videos. Andrew tasting food: takes a bite.....chews.....nods head.....says "good."
Hey guys I just discovered your channel and I love it. I’ve been binging it all weekend. I really like the long form episodes. It gives you time to show the entire adventure including the food, travel, nature, equipment, conversations. It’s just so well done and unique. I haven’t seen anything like it on RUclips.
Best RUclips channel. You guys are everything TV is not. Informative... interesting...can't stop watching... Your small conversations about ... life..food .. plants... history.. are amazing...
It’s really touching how comfortable being emotionally vulnerable with each other you guys are. This has quickly became my favorite youtube channel ever.
I live out in the Nevada Desert and love being here. The beauty is immense. Sunrise, sunsets and starry nights are awesome. Plus, there are no ticks, mosquitoes, chiggers or no-see-um's. No biting insects that fly. There are black widows spiders and scorpions, but I've never been bitten or stung by them. The summer heat can be intense, but I have air conditioning. As far as the dust goes... Yes, it is there all the time, 24/7/365!
20:58 I really like the way you put the background music....it really makes the viewer get into the experience you are having. This particular music "Harmoneez" have been used in your other videos. I really love this background music. This is what hooked me in following your channel and even your bandcamp channel. Great job!
I'm pretty sure this may be one of the top channels I've discovered of all time. I wish these guys would make videos giving tips on how to make travel documentaries like this!
It's pretty extraordinary that you 4 have become friends, you all embody a sense of wonder and adventure wherever you go, and you are educated and appreciative of each locations environment and culture. Not to mention you are all excellent film makers. Thank you for sharing your journeys and talents with us. I wish you would've gone a little further south in New Mexico, to Silver City area, part of my family is from there and still lives there.
My husband and I hiked Angel's Landing and the Narrows back in 2008. It was so fun watching you guys in Zion and reminded me that I even at one point cried (only a little) on the chains section hiking to the summit. That is a heck of a way to discover a phobia of exposed heights. Made it to the summit though!
A couple of those shots with Thomas and Robby on the way up Angel's Landing almost look like they are on a green screen. Unreal views up there. Loved this whole video. I was going t watch the first half and go to bed, but here I am at the end and past my bedtime.
zion national parks one of my favorites and more! Thank you guys, I feel like I am there traveling along... thanks for making this pandemic endurable! be safe and keep traveling :)
I enjoyed both the hikes you guys did in Zion. I have done part of the Angels Landing hike, then we got discouraged by a bit of thunder snow with lightning. The Narrows has always been closed because of high water, when I ave been there. Now the fire prep and fire around the 35 minute mark was very admirable. Kudos to your bushcraft skills.
I love when you met up and discussed your separate hikes. I'm a solo hiker, so I think I long for that type of comradery. It makes me wish I hiked with others more often!
Gentleman, even though I have watched a lot of your videos, I haven’t often commented on them. However, this one pushed me over the edge. You guys are like a breath of much-needed fresh air. I enjoy your work enormously and am very envious of your lifestyle. Keep up the great work !!
Just found your channel, and I love it!!! So thankful this TV quality content is on RUclips. I seriously cannot believe you guys only have 68K subscribers... you guys will blow up!
I first discovered your channel after watching a 40 mile solo hike that Robbie did that was recommended to me on my page and have binge watching you guys since. Such amazing content and informative too. I’ve learned and become more interested in fun-gi and native plant identification. Just wanted to say I’m a fan!
I don't know if anyone else spotted it but when Thomas and Andrew got to the top I noticed a teary-eyed Thomas and thought that's exactly what I would be looking like in such a beautiful place! :D Awesome episode, absolutely love the production quality and warm feel to every episode!
Been watching this stuff for over a year. Bored? Turn on some AA to pass the time. You won't regret it. It's almost like yous guys bring the viewer along for the ride. And God knows I need to de-stress, even if I can't get out in it myself. Edit: also, thanks for upgrading to 4k cam's it really makes it all the more immersive!
So good! Loved the scenery, your experiences and the music. I so enjoy your creativity, talents and humor. The end shout outs had me laughing out loud :-D Thank you!
A great idea for Zion, two groups splitting off. Great stuff, you guys. If only you had a geologist on board. Also, I always look at plants when hiking or in videos like these. Plants are amazing, finding cracks and wedges on cliff faces, finding rocks and clinging for hundreds of years. Around 25: 45 you see roots of a Red Cedar clinging to the trail underfoot. Plants are amazing....The bird at 25:53 is probably a Canyon Wren. Just sayin'.
First, thank you for sharing your experiences with the world. The sights are amazing. Second, the educational aspect of your encounters with the flora and fauna bring more appreciation to our magnificiant world. Third, your videos have mesmerized my 8 yr old niece. She is hooked and wants me to take her to all your hiking locations. (Sarcastic... Thanks Guys, this is going to get expensive.)
What an awesome road trip! You guys certainly did what I had always wanted to do but couldn't and can't now because I don't have a job. What a great video!
This is the third video I watch from you guys and from the time I watched the first video I thought of suggesting Angels Landing but never posted the comment. Glad you guys made it to one of Utah's jewels. Love your channel and glad you guys pay tribute to such amazing national monuments. Keep up the good work 😁
Loved the video and Southwest looks great! Who knew Sandstone could be so colorful! Count me out of Angel's Landing, though. With my luck I would fall from the highest point even with those chains to hold onto. Just a big nope, but I'd love to walk in that canyon and see Horseshoe Bend someday. So different from the Midwest.
This was phenomenal! I enjoyed the whole video but the first 30 mins may have made this my new favourite episode. I love that you guys split up (appropriately, I might add haha) to experience different parts of the canyon. The editing and narration were very clever - I like that Robby commented on what Andrew and Brian were doing and Andrew commented on what Robby and Thomas were doing. I love that you captured that brave bird diving into the river like that!! Really, really excellent, as usual :)
This video made me miss the Southwest...lived in Arizona and SoCal for several years while in the Air Force. Thank you for a beautiful and entertaining video. You guys rock!
I just went to Zion!! We drove to Bryce canyon the next day too!! When we did Angel's Landing/Scout's Lookout, the morning started super foggy for us, then turned to light rain.. and then once we had gotten to the Wiggles section of the trail - it started to snow on us, and heavy too! Then the sun came out haha - it was so wild. Bryce was equally epic. When we got to Scout's Lookout, we saw California Condors in their natural habitat - absolutely beautiful, and it felt like seeing a rare Pokémon.. I loved watching you walk through the Zion hikes!!
"Well done, AA. Another fine episode. The quality of your art keeps improving. You've captured the experience of the Southwest so well. Thank you all for sharing your journey, and conveying the essence and awesome beauty of places like Zion, Big Bend, and the Navajo Nation. I really enjoyed everything from the intro through the end of the credits. I'm looking forward to the next chapter. All the best, B
You guys could make videos in non-HD quality and I would still be a subscriber! Excellent video, one of the best. Horseshoe bend looked amazing! Also, the underground shots in Monument Valley were out of this world (or under this world)! Keep it up.
I love all of you guys personalities and interactions with each other and strangers along the way. Sometimes, though, I am simply blown away by your cinematography. Kudos on that. You guys do a masterful job on all levels😌👍
Enjoyed the music for this episode. Some of it reminded me of old westerns. Very nostalgic. 😊 Backpacked with some friends for a month in Europe; we had fun together but there was definitely bickering involved. Pretty normal when you spend too much time together. The sights on this part of the trip were incredible. The credits were hilarious too. 😂 Looking forward to the Part 3 of the road trip!
Im getting ready to do an overnight backpacking trip next weekend so I have been binge watching your episodes! Love this stuff man. Im new to the channel but loving it.
Can't believe I missed this episode! Loved the video, very nostalgic. Canyon Overlook was where I proposed to my fiance. Next time we're out there we'll take the Angel's Landing trail!
Well done vlog gentlemen. Im a new subscriber to your channel and this one i'd say are along the lines of my hiking preferences. This vlog brings me back to my hikes around Nevada from summer 2018. The one week spent out there was totally worth it. Thanks!
This is a perfect grade A+ example of why I moved out west. Your tour through Antelope Canyon was INSANE! So incredible. And I am just so jealous that you guys get to have such wondrous adventures. Usually a full episode has some parts more interesting than others but this time the entire thing from Zion to Albuquerque held me captive. Absolutely fantastic and awe-inspiring work you fellows do. But I can't believe you guys never had mole`! To call it a "chocolate sauce" is too basic a term. Most places make their mole` too sweet. If you come around here I'll show you a REAL mole`
Impressive footage from Angels' Landing. (Not for me. Gives me the willies even sitting here in safety as I watch this.) Really amazing. The Canyon views were also lovely. Thanks for sharing these amazing places with us. Love the boot and sock wringing scene. Maybe an investment in waterproof socks is next. Yes, they exist. And non-cotton garments? Yes, they exist also. Andrews fire making skills continue to entertain....Thomas knows how it's done with that steak..good work. I could make so many more positive comments.....really cool adventures.
Angles Landing is quite the experience, thanks for taking me back again 🙌🏼 Too bad the other guys didn’t make it to the Subway. We tried to there too but were denied entry over flash flood warnings.
My husband and I hiked the upper Yosemite falls trail in May after watching your video. It was truly a challenge. The downhill three days later killed my legs. A memorable trip to say the least. The August before we took a roadtrip similar to this one. I didn't have the nerve to hike to angel's landing. The narrows and many other shorter hikes were more our style. As you mentioned, I can see similarities between the parks however the parks are so different in many ways. As I'm from the midwest, I looking forward to what you find as you make your way closer.
I just found your awesome adventures. I am Navajo tribe. Lives in Salt Lake City, UT. It was cool to see the fantastic advanture in UT, NM and the Navajo Nation. ❤️😊🙌
I don’t think the words “nobody’s around” has ever been uttered in Zion National Park, so lucky you got to see it when it was quiet. Great video excellent content and fun to watch.
I came upon this channel a few days ago and I've been binge watching it for about three days now. I LOVE, love, love it!! So I had to sub to it. I love the format, all the plant and tree info, the fact that you all have great camaraderie and the beautiful sceneries. Keep up the good work....
What a wondrous adventure guys. Beautiful scenery. I always look forward to all your new videos. Knowledgeable and curious, as you are, are symptoms of beautiful minds and wise hearts...that or really good weed
I recently discovered you guys from Survival Lilly’s recommended channels and so happy I did. You make fun, interesting and informative videos... fantastic! Keep up the great job!
I knew Edward Abbey’s son, Joshua Abbey, who lives in Vegas. Hiked with him many times. Knowledgeable man about all these areas. Also binge watching this weekend!
I climbed angels landing back in July right before a giant storm that closed it for a while. We climbed it at 5 am so we were alone in the dark, it was a great sunrise. Also saw a tarantula
I visited Old Albuquerque in 1975-1976. Back then there was a resident cat named Buster who weighed 35 lbs. There was a sign near the entrance warning people to leave their small dogs in the car so they did not get beat up by Buster. One of the things I tried there was pinion nuts. They were amazing. I have had some since then, but they have never tasted as good as the first time. In Phoenix at the flea markets and swap meets we would get fry bread tacos. You could also get them dusted with powdered sugar with a drizzle of honey on top.
After all the butt clenching I did watching Robby and Thomas ascend Angels Landing, seeing the Predator epic handshake helped me unclench and made me laugh for a VERY long time (27:58)
Great video fellas, I remember visiting the area when I was around 6 or 7 years old and I don't think I appreciated the scenery. I will have to go there again one day. Monument valley looks amazing.
you guys really give us the image we love it. So Glad we have this on the big screen, absolutely stunning, /. too bad no one told you about neoprene socks, a very easy thing to add to make a Narrows hike a lot warmer and more comfortable... excellent views from Angel's landing hike as well of course, but not sure about the repeated comparisons to Yosemite// i know you all are on a big trip here and were just there but one Park at a time Ay! hahaha... .. nice you all were there when it was not crowded.. Love the Antelope Canyon guide demonstration. Sweet Monument Valley views, Window rock, everything was amazing.. Breaking Bad too funny.. Capt Lin.. hahaha... great ride along all throughout thanks so much for taking us with you... we've been to most of these places and feel like now we have an Extra High Quality video record thanks again
I’ve always wanted to go out and hike and travel but I wasn’t sure. Thanks to you guys, this is my passion, and I want to visit so many different things throughout America and the world
It was great seeing those places with your eyes. Have you considered the Springbar canvas tent? It’s made in Utah, for tent camping in the desert, wind, and snow. I think maybe the tent near Monument Valley was that. It would probably be too heavy for your backpacking trips, however. I live in the Southwest, near by. Yes, it’s windy and dusty at least in the Spring and early Fall. Green chilie is the best. Happy trails.
Y'all are so adorable and a breath of fresh air. You remind me that there are kind, loving folks out here who care about their world and the world around them.
I just found this channel 3 days ago, I’m ashamed to say that I already have watched 6 1 hour long videos. Perfect channel to watch in quarantine!
Doing the same in this now moment!! Amazing footage of America's beauty
if I'm stuck in a Zombie Apocalypse I want to be with Andrew, he can make a fire and knows which plants to eat.
Hahah thank you, that's very flattering! Thanks for watching :)
Knowing that I will probably never get the chance to see places like this makes me want to cry! However, Having people like you 4 to show me and others how beautiful the world is, is amazing! thank you.
There are plenty of beautiful places in the world, i am sure you will be able to see some of them soon!
AdventureArchives Hopefully. Keep up the great work guys.

Yeah, and they do their own music - and the music is great. It's an excellent channel for sure.
they really seem like something on netflix. so well done.
Best RUclips channel.

Here for it all now! 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👊🏾👏🏾👊🏾👊🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
My day just got so much better.
The Angel's Landing trail sure gives one a greater appreciation for those who toiled to build such a trail up to such a spectacular vista. Awesome.
It's pretty extraordinary that you 4 have become friends, you all embody a sense of wonder and adventure wherever you go, and you are educated and appreciative of each locations environment and culture. I can relate to that last sentence. Haha
27:58 was an awesome bro moment for Robby and Thomas
19:40 "This is terrifying, let's do it!" LOL 😂
omg the bloopers at the end were epic!! I was not expecting that at all haha
A WONDERFUL EXPLORATION BY THE 4 GUYS. A RICH EXPERIENCE I AM SURE.
zion national parks one of my favorites and more! Thank you guys, I feel like I am there traveling along... thanks for making this pandemic endurable! be safe and keep traveling :)
Love your channel. Very professional, informative and entertaining.
@19:40, "This is terrifying! Let's do it" LOL

MAGNIFICENT! I was getting dizzy looking at the narrow, steep trail. This is just incredible!
Omg the Star Trek shout out. That made my whole day! Well done!!
I love when you met up and discussed your separate hikes. I'm a solo hiker, so I think I long for that type of comradery. It makes me wish I hiked with others more often!

Don't even feel quarantined or locked down in a way with all the great movie length videos you guys put out.
I don't know if anyone else spotted it but when Thomas and Andrew got to the top I noticed a teary-eyed Thomas and thought that's exactly what I would be looking like in such a beautiful place! :D Awesome episode, absolutely love the production quality and warm feel to every episode!
I love all the shots in the Canyon. Absolutely stunning.
Omg! I’ve always said that Zion is the Yosemite of the Southwest! Just found your vids, can’t get enough. So love it!
It really is striking how similar they are! Thanks so much for checking out our channel, glad you're liking the videos! Cheers :)
You guys ever check out Canyonlands? Mōáb, Utah? If not, you should check it out. Mesa 313🤘🏼
Really enjoyed the pre fire time lapse and the art of the wood bit. And the steak closeups. Beautiful work gents!
I love your videos. It's almost like im there. Your description of the surroundings when you walk through is very colorful. Thanks for your videos.
Awesome content. Much more enjoyable and visually impressive/interesting than 99% of the travel documentaries put out on tv.
Best hiking The Southwest video ever!!! Great mix of friends!!! Can't wait for your next video!
Planning a June trip to Zion and found your video. This helps hike planning so much, thank you!
Love these videos, keep up the amazing videography and the knowledge you all spread with your videos.
From your fans in Indiana.
This video made me miss the Southwest...lived in Arizona and SoCal for several years while in the Air Force. Thank you for a beautiful and entertaining video. You guys rock!

Very nice guy's . Your videos are very colorful and descriptive
Thank you so much 😀
I love all of you guys personalities and interactions with each other and strangers along the way. Sometimes, though, I am simply blown away by your cinematography. Kudos on that. You guys do a masterful job on all levels😌👍
Enjoyed the music for this episode. Some of it reminded me of old westerns. Very nostalgic. 😊
Backpacked with some friends for a month in Europe; we had fun together but there was definitely bickering involved.
YES--crack open a cold one and enjoy your awesome adventure. Well done!!!
Literally just dont have any words left to describe how good your content is anymore
Can't believe I missed this episode! Loved the video, very nostalgic. Canyon Overlook was where I proposed to my fiance. Next time we're out there we'll take the Angel's Landing trail!
As always impressed by the quality of the video, I hope this channel continues to grow cause it definitely deserves it.
Well done vlog gentlemen. Im a new subscriber to your channel and this one i'd say are along the lines of my hiking preferences. This vlog brings me back to my hikes around Nevada from summer 2018. The one week spent out there was totally worth it. Thanks!

I could make so many more positive comments.....really cool adventures.
Thank you so much for your comment! Glad you enjoyed the video, and it was fun reading your thoughts. Thanks for watching :) -Andrew
This has to be one of your best Episodes ever...content wise and editing wise, choice of music etc....so awesome

Such an awesome, and refreshing video - something a bit different. Just when you think the video is about to end, another adventure arises.
Great musical tribute to Ennio Morricone! I enjoy you guys so much!
Excellent video. This may be my favorite one so far. It was a cool idea to have two go up, two go down in Zion.
Amazing adventure. Thanks for sharing with us.
I don’t think the words “nobody’s around” has ever been uttered in Zion National Park, so lucky you got to see it when it was quiet. Great video excellent content and fun to watch.
Cleric L8 LOL ikr always so many people, at least when I go

Thanks for the kind words Debi :) We hope to continue to bring you videos you can enjoy for a long time!
Love you guys adventures
Great video guys! Awesome camera work and editing. Wonderful soundtrack and storytelling. Thanks once again for stopping by Albuquerque and visiting!
Many thanks to you James for being a great host and guide!
I believe this is the very first episode that starts the hilarious and creative shout outs!!!
There is no way I would ever do the upper hike so many thanks for filming it haha!
What a wondrous adventure guys. Beautiful scenery. I always look forward to all your new videos. Knowledgeable and curious, as you are, are symptoms of beautiful minds and wise hearts...that or really good weed
OMG...so captured the description of seeing this for the first time...stirred up memories for me
Excellent scenery and love the credit clips. +1 for the Star Trek references. :)
I recently discovered you guys from Survival Lilly’s recommended channels and so happy I did. You make fun, interesting and informative videos... fantastic! Keep up the great job!

You could also get them dusted with powdered sugar with a drizzle of honey on top.
How beautiful is Zion, wow! And the Navajo lands , I have to go there.
Loved the imaginative and clever ending!
I love all the cultural knowledge
Thank you 😊
This is some of your guys' best work. Seriously incredible in every way.
Beautiful guitar playing Brian!
After all the butt clenching I did watching Robby and Thomas ascend Angels Landing, seeing the Predator epic handshake helped me unclench and made me laugh for a VERY long time (27:58)
28:05 - Astonishing view! Thank you guys for your videos!
I always skipped the end credit. But after watching these I realized I missed out on a lot! Keep it up guy's 💪
Since this episode we've tried to be more fun and creative with our shoutouts. Kinda helps us get our goofy side out :)
@@AdventureArchives it was very creative and I laughed so hard at the credits, hope to see a lot more from you guys!
Beautiful, but no way would I climb up that. Even if it was beautiful! Awesome video! My legs were shaking just watching!
I’ve always wanted to go out and hike and travel but I wasn’t sure. Thanks to you guys, this is my passion, and I want to visit so many different things throughout America and the world
aaahh...Brian looked so but hurt after being denied that last piece of steak. Great job guys, love these videos
:Monument Valley rock formations are incredible. Other planetish! Just a super, great video, guys. Thanks a million!
