I agree, Ellen I'm in a marathon of watching "The Waltons", next will be "Little House On The Prairie", Epic show, the best television 📺 ever had the good sense to air.
Amazing, I am 66 years old and will never forget the Waltons, You are all a reminder of what life should be like today! The love and kindness overwhelm my heart!
Absolutely the waltons was and still is the best show ever made. I watch it Monday through Friday at noon. This weekend was a marathon of the show and I watched every episodes.
I went to college the year "The Waltons" came on tv. I was so busy working & w/ school, I never saw it-picked it up a few yrs later in reruns & have been hooked ever since. When the world feels impossible to bear any longer, I just watch this show & remember that there was once a better world. How I long for those days.
The Easter episode where Olivia had polio means so much to me. I was very sick with my rare disease and I prayed for a miracle. That episode gave me so much hope where Olivia has her miracle. I am still alive and God has blessed me to still be here. I loved how the whole family showed so much love for each other in the episodes. I watch all the episodes and wish families could be like that.
No one will ever know how much "The Waltons " impacted my young life. I had a very broken family and Vietnam war reaked havoc on my family and my parents marriage. I literally learned parenting social skills, FAMILY values. We shared a tv in my home I had to fight to watch and also Little House. Earl Hamner was my pen pal From 2000 until he became to I'll to write back.. He gave an incredible gift to all of us. I love seeing each of you, thank you for giving of yourselves ♡♡♡ Each of you will always be a part of my family ♡
My story wasn’t much different. I think that’s why I gravitated towards the show the way I did. They just seemed so normal...and safe. Something I didn’t feel very often. A lot of these shows got me through some of the darker periods of my life and mean more to me than I often care to admit. They were like a warm, comfy, ole sweatshirt on a cold autumn day.
So sorry about the family life I will just say both my wife and I were adopted and my parents adopted 3 boys after having three children of there own and one from Vietnam after the country fell and babies were flown out. God bless you. Stan.
Guys, I am 76 yrs. old & I have to watch The Waltons every day that I'm here when their program is on TV! The very important values for " family, friends, relationships within family that are sooo relevant to families everywhere!" One of my most favorite TV programs & always will be...
I grew up watching The Walton's. I still watch it everyday in reruns. I also own every episode and special's that was ever made. It is absolutely my favorite show ever made. My own grandpa reminds me of John Sr. and Zeb. I will continue to watch this and show it to my grandchildren!!
My favorite scene from the book burning was when there was a bonfire burning books and John boy noticed a certain book in the fire, pulled it out, and asked if anyone knew German. When Mrs. Bremmer read that book and we all found out that it was the Bible. That was chilling for me.
I still watch the series on DVD every couple years or so. Thanks for this interview. How disappointing that the sound was so messed up when Kami dissected the intro.
@@naomithompson5023 No, all the Walton kids are still alive. Many of the older generations in the series have passed on: Will Geer, Ellen Corby and Ralph Waite among the actual Walton Family. Many of the older characters such as the Baldwin sisters and Ike and Corabeth have passed.
I grew up in VA and had family from the area where the “real” Waltons, the Hamners lived. As a child I got to meet the “real” Olivia, and Mrs. Hamner was a wonderful woman who spent an afternoon telling me and my sisters about which stories were real and about the real children. Whenever I’m in that area I always have to drive by the museum and the house and remember...

SETH AND JAMES .... THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for the most wonderful opportunity to hear from Richard, Judy, Kami, Eric, Michael, John and Jimmy. I thoroughly enjoyed it all the way from Australia. You guys are beautiful. This has made my day. Thank you. :)
Oh man!! I’m sorry I missed this!! I so love watching Richards interviews from a few years ago and Judy’s Behind the Scenes videos!!! So happy to see Michael, Eric and Kami too!!
Huge smile on my face while watching this , as I,m wiping the happy tears away. I look at Michael today and this brings back wonderful memories of watching the show with my parents( who are long gone ) and my little sister. What a great reunion to see during these crazy times :)
I grew up watching the Walton’s long after it’s original television run. My family went through a period of repeating the signature Walton good nights, and, while on a trip to DC, we took a detour to Schuyler, Virginia and visited the Walton’s Mountain Museum, including the Hamner house. I even purchased a script of The Homecoming signed by the great Earl Hamner. This show was (and is) such a huge part of my childhood, and I have fond memories of growing up with the Walton family and the wonderful inhabitants of Walton’s Mountain.
I've watched a bunch of these over the last few months and enjoyed them thoroughly, but this one with The Waltons cast goes right to number one on my list! Thank you so very much!
I appreciated you guys getting together digitally anyway. Richard looks good for being 69 and so does Michael and the rest of you all. Thank you for giving us so many warm and happy memories through out the years
I missed this live unfortunately, but I'm watching it now and tearing up here and there because this is so special and so meaningful. When I was young I came from a very Dysfunctional Family and watching The Waltons was an escape for me. In fact people on the street used to call me John boy because I looked kind of like Richard Thomas and my hair was the same style. Unfortunately I wasn't as handsome as he was lol. But this reunion is a gift and these people are like family and I don't think that's corny to say. One of the best shows ever in the history of television. Bless them all. ❤
The Walton's holds some of my best memories with my dad. He would have been John Boy's age during the Depression, and he loved The Waltons. We watched the show every week together.

So are generation and future generations can know what it was like to live then. Thank you so much to the cast and crew. I will be eventually be introducing the series to my grandchildren.
I liked how Ellen Corby came back after her stroke, to continue to be a part of the show, to be able to communicate wonderfully, even though she could no longer speak. Such a realistic situation, as it was a fact of life that older relatives often became infirm.
I missed the livecast this afternoon due to a timing issue, but glad beyond glad the entire segment is available on RUclips! I catch Judy and Kami every week on their respective channels but it was so nice to see Michael, Richard and Eric in the prime of health and available to parlay and reminisce with their legions of fans! Very glad you all are keeping the series "alive" for new and old fans alike - because here will NEVER be another one like it! God bless you all!

there will never be a show as good as the Waltons to watch and enjoy all of actors were great but my very favorit was Judy Norton Maryellen reminded me of some of the girls I went to school with fun girls
Richard Thomas looks amazingly young. THE WALTONS is such a special tv show that just calms me down and makes me happy. My best to all the actors involved in this show as well as everyone behind the scenes of making such great television. Thank you!
This is the best interview I’ve seen for the Walton cast. Thank u for the wonderful, wonderful stories. I love that Will Geer ‘s inviting, playful .spirit was for real. Thanks to each of you for sharing your love with us.
Really loved the Walton's, loved everyone on the show, just seemed so real. I grew up in the 50's & 60's, in the country. We weren't as poor as the Waltons, but we had a one room school, there were 50 to 60 kids in the school & we all got along, 20 or more of us played together after school, most of the rest of the kids were farm kids & had chores to do.
I'm happy I got to see The Waltons a little growing up - they sure left a wonderful impression! I sprouted up in a big way on Little House. Finally got to sit down about 5 years ago and watch The Waltons from start to finish! I loved it so much! Just as much as Little House. Could anyone imagine how Corabeth and Harriet Oleson would get along? 🤣
Still today the waltons tv show gives me so much comfort in this uncertain world. You can escape into a loving family home. Yes they help shape and raise me as well so many. The writer of the waltons and all the actors felt like family. Thank you! I'm in my 50s now and I have watched every show over and over .. I can't even tell you what one is my favorite but mom and dad grandma and grandmpa if I had to pick . But as a female I am a slipt of mom johnboyand grandmpa younger years mary ellen too I was the oldest child an dalwayslooked out for siblings..cooked fixed bikes changed diapers and reading at night to them .lol 🤣🤣❤ I watch before anything else..My children are grown and if I could do it again I would so the episode when mom and dad John took in baby Jenny for awhile tugged at my heart. And you know they put there all into there acting...❤ thank you and love you all...Mrs. l Michael earned I wanted to be you...
Great to see, I used to go with a friend her mom worked at Warner Bros we would spend part of our summers exploring the grounds, and watching the Waktons being filmed. I remember an epispde where it was Michael Learned and Richard Thomas they were sitting on a large rock filming a scene. The director kept making them do it over and over. Seemed like hours. And so apparently Muchael Learned never ages. 😉😀😃 Still so beautiful.

Aapparently a remake of The Homecoming is in the works.

A very special show, and all of the writers and actors and musicians made such a positive impact on our American families.
This is the best interview I’ve seen for the Walton cast. Thank u for the wonderful, wonderful stories. I love that Will Geer ‘s inviting, playful .spirit was for real. Thanks to each of you for sharing your love with us.
Thank you so much for this. Brings back a lot of good memories for such a classic TV show. Love seeing the cast.
Thanks seth and james thank you for shareing the walton family tonight i just loved this interview with judy , Micheal Kami Eric and Richard. ❤
Hey Waltons cast: I love you all. I feel like you are family.❤
SAME!! I’m not the only one. I just said that too, that Corabeth was so much like Harriet. These were the best tv shows ever!
This was so sweet and touching. a perfect antidote to ... things. The show had such a moral heart.
Still today the waltons tv show gives me so much comfort in this uncertain world.
You can escape into a loving family home. Yes they help shape and raise me as well so many. The writer of the waltons and all the actors felt like family.

I give the Walton's cast a lot of credit. They are excellent actors.
I've just recently started watching this show and I love it. I've bought season one on You Tube and I will watch it till the end.
Still so beautiful.
The time just went by so fast, it can't be over already! So wonderful seeing you all!! I love the Walton's!!! 🌼
