- Take a trip back to the farm to visit the Ingalls family again. Melissa Gilbert, Rachel Lindsay Greenbush, Sidney Greenbush, Matthew Labyorteaux, Alison Arngrim, Dean Butler, and more will reunite more than 45 years after the first episode aired to talk about their time on the farm and the impact that this iconic show has had since then.

INCREDIBLE SHOW
my daughter is 22
Its one of the only shows we watched together as she grew up
Instead of the smart ass shows
I SWEAR its a reason she grew up so wonderfully
And Steve Tracy!💔🙏
Cariños para todos los actores, tengo lindos recuerdos de la serie. Un abrazo desde Santiago, Chile
Love this
Karen was great on the show a in person
I didn't realize that Katherine McGregor had passed away. She was an absolutely fantastic actor. Every one of these people were top notch actors.
ruclips.net/video/eu1NlHP3a2A/видео.html. She was in her 90s, though, so she lived a long, full live.
I thought she was so mean as a kid but now realize how amazing she really was
Oh, yeah. She died years ago.
I believe Katherine and Richard Bull ended up in the same senior living home. Seems like I heard someone from the cast say that at one of the summer events they do.
MRS OLSEN N MR OLSEN WILL def be missed.
Watching this in 2024...
Little House On The Prairie got me through childhood! I wished for a mother like Caroline and a sister just like Laura.
Nellie was kinda evil but she made the show riveting and she was funny at times same with Willie and of course Harriet was hilarious more often than not! Nels was the perfect foil.
I wish there were more episodes because I've seen all of them so many times. Charles Ingalls would always stand up to people when they were awful and I wished everyone had that kind of courage.
I thought there was so much compassion and kindness in this show.
I miss Michael Landon he was the GREATEST ever! He will be never be forgotten. He is a Angel.
Shoutouts to Melissa Alison Karen Dean Rachel Sydney Matthew Seth and James for making this reunion happen It was amazing R.I.P.Michael Landon Victor French and Katherine MacGregor
I still watch Little House on Cozy every day. It just makes me feel good.
I watch it too my mom showed this show to me
Me too!
Remember me today.
Me too, I still love it!!
same
I am so glad to see the actor's who played our favorite show when we were young.
ive actually been to the Laura Ingalls Wilder museum in walnut grove, I also have 2 dresses from there and a porcelain Laura doll!! I really was a super fan, and the show is still so important to me
Karen Grassle looks amazing. To be honest, I think she looks the best.
Yeah, and how does she sound exactly the same as during the show?
She was and is a natural beauty.
I agree, she is stunning! Inside and out!
Yes, please organize a part two LHOTP reunion! I want to hear more, particularly memories from the cast of other actors on the show, from Michael Landon to the Olsens, MSA to Victor French and more. Really enjoyed this Stars in the House, keep it up Seth & James!
Melissa Sue Anderson would be wonderful to see on the next reunion. She was wonderful as Mary!
but she is not a wonderful person.
@Sharon do a little research and see what many of her cast members have said about MSA.
@Sharon MSA was the real Nellie Olsen
I really don't like her, heard from so many of her co-stars she was quite the prima dona, and mean.
MSA was the reason John Jr was killed off the show.
Rip❤️🕯️❤️
Dr Baker, Rev Alden, Charles Ingalls, Mr Edwards, Mr and Mrs Olesen, Lars Hanson and many more ❤️🕯️❤️
I'm so glad Sidney mentioned that scene from the pilot episode where they had to place her in the creek. I always wondered if that water cold or warm. And she remembers it as being very cold. It's too funny as well as I just watched that episode the other day. Every time I see it I always wondered that. NOW I know. Thanks Sidney.
There is something so amazing about Little House. Innocent, fun-it never gets old. Something so sweet, magical, homey, and just plain wonderful about this show. To think that it started 47 years ago!
i'm just glad to see that Melissa cries over scenes in Little House just like I do. :)
Nellie will forever be my FAV... the episode when Nelly faked getting hurt by falling off the horse and Laura pushed her down the hill... from time to time I will call my sister just to say “MRS OLSEN...MRS OLSEN ... UP HERE!!!!”
OMG YAS
When she ruins the doll house I hate you Laura I hate you! Lol
@@Jrollins916 omg that one too
I love Alison! She's the BEST!!!💕💕💕
People forget about iconic shows like this because its been so long..and people are just not into "real" feeling shows with real actors and real stories. This show still today is among the best of the best. Its so real in fact, that its strange to see photos and videos of the cast and crew in normal clothing and just messing around. The show literally makes you feel you are in the 1800s..Brilliant show.
Karen looks like she hasn't aged a bit, just her hair color changed!!! Beautiful!!! Love this group. Melissa is the same age as me and when I was little everyone thought I looked just like her. LOL!! I was such a fan of the Little House books that I even have a porcelain doll in the real Laura's likeness from Walnut Grove!! As kids, my best friend (often compared to Elizabeth on the Waltons) and I would change the words in each verse during church to "bringing in the sheeps" "bringing in the cheese" and "bringing in the sheets" just to see if anyone noticed!!! LOL!!!!
I watched both The Waltond and Little House. Loved both shows
Thank you for bringing to us some laughs and even some tears. LHOTP has a permanent place engrained deep in my heart and all my love good out to you all. Thank you for bringing my childhood some smiles and keeping them going throughout my 47 years. 💚
J'ai 57 ans.... et il m'arrive encore de regarder cette série quand elle repasse à la télé... 😏🙄
Karen Grassie looks fantastic
She looks like she found the fountain of youth.
I ran into Karen Grassley in a Kroger parking lot in Kentucky one time. My sister had a homeschool class full of 5th to 8th graders with special needs. And I remember being so embarrassed and so shy but taking a paper bag and running up to her and asking her to sign it because the kids were in the study of the 1800s at a time at the time. To be honest I was much more excited to get that signature than those kids were but they were excited. She was so gracious and so sweet I wish I had had the nerve to stop and have a conversation with her because I grew up on Little House on the Prairie but we stood by her hatchback while she was loading her groceries and she signed the paper bag for me.
She lived in Louisville, Kentucky for a while...part of the Actors Guild (I think).
All my life I thought they were singing, "Bringing in the sheep." Lol! Thank goodness for close captions!🤣
I am 63 and I tape Little House daily watching the old episodes nightly from my DVR and it makes me so happy, love watching these episodes over and over again. They don’t make great shows like this any more sadly! Miss Micheal Landon he was brilliant!
I had a great time with Little House. I’m glad I was a part of this Awsome reunion. The donations were astonishing. Great job everyone. 😊
I was a teenager who was head over heals in love with Karen Grassle {Ma Ingalls}. I thought she was so beautiful ! She still is !
Next to the Ingalls, the Garveys were my favorite family.
Merlin Olson was a terrible actor
Oh, my childhood. How wonderful.
I miss Michael Landon so much, what a great man,God bless each of y'all and thanks for the joy y'all bring still today in 2023
Little House the show is such a big part of my childhood. It is so hard to put in to watch since Mom died. She loved it.
I got to be in Little House on the Prairie the Musical December of 2018, with my theatre group Midwest Center for Creative Arts. Best show I've ever been in so far! I got to play Eliza Wilder, the schoolteacher, and then a De Smet townsperson. It was so nostalgic for all of us bookverse/movieverse, and my family loved it! My sister said that it brought back her inner child that she had been badly missing for a long time, especially with Laura being the wild child. Thank you for being the inspiration. It was an honor and joy to be part of a presentation to pay tribute to what you all gave to us over the years.
Love you guys!
I grew up watching this show. I still watch Little House on Hallmark every day. RIP Katherine MacGregor, Victor French, Richard Bull and Michael Landon
Dean Butler looks like he's ready to burst out laughing pretty much the entire call
Regarding the Laura/Almanzo relationship - it’s historically true that they were so far apart in age and she was so young....so you’d think that both the actors and the viewers went into those scenarios somewhat expecting that.
I loved watching Little house. I especially love the reunions, to see all the actors with their actual personalities. Such a delight to hear all the behind the scenes, and the comments from all the actors. Great Job everyone!🤗
Just found this 2 yrs later. Brought back soooo many memories of a happy, carefree, childhood. Reminder of simpler time. All of you are such great sports. Love you all. Even "Nelly." For me, she is the original Queen Cerci (GOT ref.) Thanks I think this video should have Millions of views by now, if only more people knew. Great job.
Ugh so sad this reunion isn’t a bigger deal! Because this is HUGE. I wanted to be just like laura when I was little. I’ve read every single book and watched every single episode. That was such a big part of my life and this gave me so much nostalgia ❤️ Thank you for doing this!!
This was so awesome! I have read Melissa‘s book and I have read Allison’s book 3 times! I loved it that much! I had crushes on Dean and Matthew as a kid! Love to all of you!
Allison's book is hilarious..It's a favorite of mine too.
I've read Gilbert's book which was good. Sounds like I need to get Allison's book as well.
So great to see everyone! And congratulations Matthew on your marriage!
Why did he wait so long to get married?
I only watched this series in the 1970's on occasion when I was a child growing up ...(maybe I was too busy riding my big wheel!!!!), but I am now at 53 and loving every single episode. It is my 6pm routine that I look forward to each day.
Good show, with good values. Much needed in our current day and age. I only wish all families would sit down and watch this together. Jenni
My favorite show my entire life ..I'm 50 and still love watching it and anything about it
I still watch the show three times a day on the cozi channel in california.
Watching this show again. I tear up every other episode at 50+ yrs old!
I remember when this show came out because the Christmas before the show premiered I received the first book of the series as well as one of the Hardy boys books and read them both and watched both shows. I was 8 years old. What kept me coming back to LHOTP was Nellie Oleson and Mrs. Oleson. I always got a kick seeing how evil both could be and then in the end seeing them both eat crow for their actions by the end of the episodes.
this is making me happy, I'm going through a hard time right now and little house has always been one of my faves, own the complete set on DVD
Karen Grassle looking great!
I saw when you as adults a w babiesim watching all the shows last night..i laughed a cryed to the shows keeps us how we loved the series..i got hooked to all the cast..
Mathew played Charles Ingalls as a little boy 👦 💙
So glad we can see you a love all the show as im watching now all the past show i cried a laughed on alot of the showsa so glad you did this for us fans thankyou 50 yrs a we still love you all
You all were greatactorsa im watching the shows at im 70 i laughed a cryed toalot a loved itnow a all the series..
Watching this was so therapeutic. This group of actors are so special, and they clearly liked the work and the characters. Michael Landon, the genius behind it all, brought the series to a new level with his own sense of humor inside all the drama. Seth and James, big applause and gratitude.
Save for Melissa Sue Anderson. Absolutely no one liked her.
@@jeremyud Why would you say that?
I look a lot LHOTP. WHEN I was a young girl in the '70's. Now we can see it again in the Netherlands. I like it still very much...... Melissa Gilbert is a few years older than I.....?
Still like Caroline and Charles very much. And the LHOTP is for me still one of my most favorite series. So much warmt.....and love, and how difficult it was sometimes, there was a good way out of it.....!!! 😊💖👍🏻
Thank you so much for this. It was great.
Yes, please do a quiz night between the casts of Little House & The Waltons, 2 of my favourite programmes.
I am hard of hearing. Darn, I wish someone would add "CC" Closed Captioning or Subtitles so the deaf/HOH, even me can understand what they're saying in the video! :( I truly enjoy LHOTP, even the real Ingalls/Wilder families!
the caption button is on it now.. 🙂 p.s. wearing headphones or earbuds can help with hearing them better ..
Thanks, Seth! Thanks, James! Thanks, Melissa! Thanks, Rachel! Thanks, Sidney! Thanks, Matthew! Thanks, Alison! Thanks, Dean! Thanks, Jack! Thanks, Dr. LaPook! Thanks, everyone on and off the prairie!!! 🌅
CONGRADULATIONS MATHEW ON YOUR MARRIAGE ,I TOOJUST GOT MARRIED LAST AUGUST ,,,FIRST TIME FOR ME AND MY HUSBAND BOTH
It's so moving to see you all. Thank you but could you please give us an update on Jonathan J Gilbert?
My sister and I LOVED Albert. We were so glad he was added to the show. He became such a lovable character arc, and a beautiful asset to the Ingalls family. He made the show and the Ingalls dynamic even better!
Totally agree! I just love Matthew Labyorteaux.
Albert was always my favorite character and I had a crush on him when I was his age haha it’s so sad that we never got to see him as a doctor, and have a proper ending with the rest of the cast! That was terrible
Melissa's beef with The Waltons is so funny.
I have realy enjoyed this show. I am now 50 years old and I think I have seen all of the episodes 6 or 7 times. I think it is helped me to be who I am today. A good person, loving God and loving people. All of you thank you for these amazing 9 years of LHoTP.
Congrats to Matt! This is like a telethon. Had a big crush on almonzo! Luv those episodes between Laura and Almonzo.
Don't want to hear about covid !
This was my favorite show all time from when I was about 10 years old. I was obsessed with it! Everyday after school I watched it. It was so wonderful to see everyone. And by the way, where's Melissa Sue Anderson that played Mary? Would have been nice to have seen her as well.
Melissa Anderson is not a particular favorite of the rest of her LHOTP cast mates.
Melissa's feud with the Waltons...😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I LOVED watching this!!! I loved LHOTP, grew up on it. I am a great fan of Matthew Labyorteaux! It has always been my lifelong dream to meet him in person. I hate he stopped being in front of the camera. I remember seeing him in the NBC Special Treat "Papa and Me" with Joseph Mascolo, (Stefano DiMera). PLEASE pass this on to Matthew., I would hope he sees this!!!!
Matthew looks great. I’m hoping he will do more projects in the future. 😊
Really seems to have bounced back from that opium addiction
Lisa,
I have to tell you that Mathew was my first boyfriend 😍
He just didn’t know it.
@@Ryan-fosho Oh I was not aware of that. Matt is a great actor. We all make mistakes and do things we regret later. I wish him all the best and much success.
@@lisaw5580 he’s not actually an opium addict I was making a joke about his character Albert who had an opium addiction in the show.
@@mananimal3644 Matt is still a cutie 🥰. Maybe one day we could meet him.
I watched every episode of Little House on the Prarrie. I loved it wasn't all killing and cussing. It had many things to learn and show just how hard life was. How quick you can lose everything.
Memories of those who have passed on.
I read the book... It wasn't the same as watching the show. I really enjoyed watching Little House On The Prairie I miss shows like this.... They need to bring back shows like this one
Melissa Sue Anderson is my fave always.
What happened to Mary? Also, I didn't even recognize Almanzo(Manly! lol) or Karen Grassle. So loved the show. One of my favorites of all time. Nice to see all of you.
@GID why doesn't she have good memories with Melissa?
I am watching little house now u should bring on Gilmore Girls cast
Melissa Gilbert is still gorgeous!
Why do we never see Melissa Sue Anderson in these reunions? The only time I’ve seen her join was on the Today Show a few years ago. A shame...
Because “Laura” and “Nellie” were mean to her on set and she’s too nice too talk bad about them.
Therese Bouchie mais c'était toutes des enfants , c est dommage de ne pas évoluer
je suis d’accord. C’est vraiment un dommage.
Evidently she’s quite rude and aloof in real life
@@PapagenoMF according to what source?
I love LHOTP. I have complete dvd's of all seasons. Philippines here. I am 57 and my Mom and i used to watch the show on Wednesday night in 1978 and so on...over channel 7. Only in 1978 we had new tv.
Oh NOOOOOOOOO i missed this!!!!! I LOVE Little House On The Prairie.....
I like the episode when Laura & Almonzo got married.
I loved it sooooo much!! When we submitted the donation did the actors get the note that some of us left them? I wasn’t too sure.
Hey Matthew labyorteaux. Lenell here
The best show ever! It was a family show. You guys are the best.
Matthew Labyorteaux is never ugly😭
Matthew is very handsome.
Why didn't they have Jack in the wagon???
Congrats on the Anniversary. The Actor’s Fund is lucky to have you guys on the team.
the "when is it time to say my line" was the episode where Jenny cut of and sold her hair to that guy that made Nellie's wig for the play ("well you wanted to wear curls!") so she could pay for a new dress for her mother so her mother would come see the play
The scene when Laura kiss Almanzo in ep sweet 16 was so cute. ♥️
Melissa gilbert who played Laura, was nervous about kissing Dean butler who played almanzo.
It shows you that Melissa gilbert was a great actor.
@@annes7651 I am not sure but I think Melissa Gilbert has retired from acting.
Alison is a goddess.
Bless each of you for understanding that for most of us $100 is a huge amount of money from the limited finances that typical people/families have right now.
What a wonderful reunion w/the "Little House" cast. Thank you!!
Always had a crush on Mathew and love Alison
Hi Melissa how are you doing tonight
From shawn Overton glad to see you all thank you.
To Allison::: my Aunt Loved you and finally got to meet you at a book signing in 2017 in NC( I believe) before she passed away...she was fighting cancer (Rejina was her name). I think her daughters surprised her.. but she said you were so sweet....
Sorry to hear about Rejina 😕Where in NC was that?
Does anyone know why Melissa Sue Anderson (Mary) never participates in these kind of events?
Apparently her and Melissa Gilbert don't get along well.
@@nickonite that makes sense!
I'd rather see Melissa Sue than Melissa Gilbert.
Alison Arngrim has said in interviews (print and video) that she was like the stuck up high school girl who never spoke to you. No doubt that got back to her, so doubt she feels very welcome at these events.
@@johnfd0210 that is being kind compared to what Melissa Gilbert said about MSA on the Andy Cohen Show in 2013.
Rachel's connection is stuck in the 1800s lol
Hello, from Minnesota! Everybody who knows me knows, you may ask me anything about Little House on the prairie and I know. I am going to be 50 this year and had my children watch the whole series and every episode from the pilot to the very end with me again and again. The big joke my children talk about is that episode called, MA'S VACATION. There is a quote in there where Victor, who played Mr Edwards, was cooking dinner for the children while Mom and Pa we're in Mankato on their second honeymoon. My kids always say quote suppers on unquote. Mary asks Laura, quote what is that smell unquote, Mary answers with a wrinkled nose, I think it's our supper! LOL. Mr Edwards shot a rattlesnake and made a stew out of it. Where he claimed in the episode that it was Indian stew and he got the recipe from Indians. He ended up shooting a hole in the roof of the house after Mary and Laura went out sign together the eggs in the dark and the rain. At any rate it has brought my family a great deal of laughter and a bit of tears. I have lost my youngest son in 2019. So these memories are bittersweet. So thankful for the opportunity to be able to use Little House on the prairie as a bonding and a learning experience for my children and I. Thank you and God bless you.
I'd love to see Hester Sue too and Adam and Landon's daughter That played etta plum
Karen looks beautiful still.
What a fun reunion! I have rediscovered Little House and it was so wonderful to see so many of the cast and hear their stories.I’m looking forward to game night! ❤️
None of them were in trouble with the law or did drugs.
OMG, after watching this I am so scared someone is going to banish this series because of Laura dating and marrying at a very young age though that was the norm back in the 1800's.
Cancel it! Human trafficking is evil!
Great!! I, like many, grew up watching this amazing show and read all of the books many times. The Christmas Blizzard episode is my all time favorite. 💕💕💕💕
