  • The #NissanKicks has had a huge glow up for 2025 and it grows in size, technology, and presence. The #KicksSR is the sportiest trim level and #Nissan has finally added AWD to the options list with a new 2.0L 4-cylinder engine from the Sentra under the hood. Expect the new #Kicks to be in showrooms later this summer.

Too bad it’s underpowered and slow. According to Alex on Autos, this new 2025 Kicks SR AWD will actually be slower than the old Kicks due to the extra 400-500 pounds of weight. This is despite the 19 extra horsepower. Expect a zero to 60 of 12-13 seconds. Also with the top SR Kicks trim now touching 30k most likely, it’s just not an affordable city car anymore, I’d rather buy a base Rogue or Forester or CX-5

Not sure why they dont introduce it in the US. It will especially be appealing to people who still think Nissan's CVTs are unreliable.
Maybe its because it might cause the Note to lose market share?

I guess this is why they discontinued the Rogue Sport in the US. Unless they also made it larger I imagine it would have been pretty similar to this.

There's Kicks with E-Power hybrid in other markets.
Quite efficient and the best part: No transmission! Just direct electric driven.

Didn’t the Kicks replace the Juke?? So wouldn’t this be the third version??

I have a Juke SL AWD. The original Kicks did not have AWD, and had significantly less horsepower. But yes, the Kicks was the successor to the Juke.
