    At least they took the time to make the wide rear tires...

      indeed, wish Lego made the effort

      Yeah love this scale, great details and still affordable and you can always find a place to display it. It also inspired me to design the Ferrari and hope to release the Mercedes soon

      I was pretty happy with it actually. the tyres are amazing pity Lego doesn't make this sort of set.

    I’m building the larger 1:8’scale versions, but felt the Block Zone Red Bull F1 car is much stronger structure than the Cada Alfa Romero F1 car I built first. Will get more Block Zone cars for sure.

    Really cool! Its great to have the perspective of different brands other than LEGO. Glad to hear you enjoyed your experience.
    If you're interested in the printed tires, check out the CaDa Mercedes AMG One (maybe you've seen it). 1/8 scale fully licensed from AMG Mercedes and licensed with Michelin including printed tires. It looks phenominal!
    Great video, as usual!

      Thanks! Will have a look, my preference is the smaller set as I am running out of room to display large sets

    nice looking set, great it has some printed pieces. only sticker i do not like is the red Bull behind the camera's. they look a bit to small and to thick.

      It’s pretty good but there’s always something that can be improved

    I just bought this and tried to build it with my 4 yr old. Took me 8 yrs on my own because I have zero experience. I struggled for about 2 hours with the that round bar that attached the side pods and eventually forced it in with my vise after breaking it apart and rebuilding it many times. Rear wing was a real bitch too

      It’s a great model but sounds like you had some pieces that were too tight, Lego quality control is better but the Rastar sets I have are pretty good.

      I am making a couple of MOCs based on the same scale, Ferrari turned out ok and now working on a Mercedes. Same parts needed and unfortunately the tyres might be an issue but will make a build video with parts list once ready

    • @speedybrick
      @speedybrick  8 месяцев назад +1

      No they make their own version along with some pieces that aren’t available from Lego
