    Rosemary is definitely one of my personal favorites. Once we went hiking in the Olympic National Forest, with fresh rosemary sprigs stuck to our hats. We looked ... well, different from the other people there, however, we were the only ones not bothered by those relentless mosquitoes. I have my big shrub right in front of my entrance, and I always talk to her whenever I walk by. Rosemary is simply divine.

    This comment isn’t hair related, although I plan on trying Rosemary for hair growth, however I’m drinking Rosemary tea these days and my memory is much improved.

    Your dahlias are gorgeous!! Thank you for another great episode, I always look forward to hearing what you have to say. I don't use my herbs as much as I could, but very much appreciate them for their decorative value, as a ground cover, and as a source of food for pollinators ( there are always so many different pollinators on my mountain mint and garlic chive flowers!). There is nothing like smelling lavender, sage, or Sweet Annie while harvesting or weeding in the gardens. In my opinion, herbs are just about the perfect garden companions and I love to watch you celebrate them. 😊

    Hi Rosalee, I was all ready to get excited about making rosemary water and then you mentioned it darkens light hair. Can you please tell me what it would do to silver gray? Sometimes we seniors get left out ... I love herbs and at 75 still look forward to incorporating them in my life as I age and turn to herbs over allopathic meds ... but now I don't know .... will rosemary darken silver gray hair? Help! Thank you!

    • @HerbsWithRosalee
      @HerbsWithRosalee  Год назад

      It's very possible that it would lighten grey hair. You could try it on a small section to test it out first.

      I wouldn't use a full rosemary hair rinse with white hair (either with water or vinegar). But you could try the oil in a small area to see how it goes.

    Not to be that person, but in vitro testing is also subjecting a living thing to tests. If it wasn't a living thing, we wouldn't test on it. Why, oh why, do so many people value the lives of animals over humans??
    I'm not saying we should be torturing animals. Just...sigh...

    • @HerbsWithRosalee
      @HerbsWithRosalee  Год назад +2

      I know very few people who value animals lives over humans. I wouldn't describe myself as that way either. But I definitely don't think animals should be tortured. Ever.
