Depends on the timing, connection between teams, etc. I've killed people as they were planting it and they died, with 1 distance point left, and I've had times where I was very confident the person should have been killed, but they got a knock out and lived. Once, a person got a knock out and died from my attack directly after. 😂 but yeah. Rainmaker is my favorite mode and I'm X rank, so you see some crazy stuff sometimes.

Ok, ink armor survives one hit unless the damage exceeds 100, if so 100 is subtracted and the armor is broken and the extra damage is dealt directly. The extra damage is capped at 80.

Something here: Can the Ink Armor survive a *direct hit* from the Splat Bomb? Maybe. I think you'll receive around 60-80 damage. Similar to a Splashdown.

Try and see if you can survive a splashdown by timing a baller explosion, or if you can just survive it with baller alone. I've done this a number of times thanks to my krak-on roller, it doesn't kill the person with splashdown from the explosion or the person with baller from the splashdown, so I'm not sure whether the explosion is necessary. Could be a thing for the pros??? Idk? My theory is that if you don't explode you'll probably be pushed back, and if you do use it you'll actually survive the splashdown and be able to counter-attack with your glorious weapon of choice (mine is the roller. So this just leaves them WAYYYY open)

Means no matter how strong the blast is you will survive it!
