I *love* how well-informed and researched your video is! That kind of in-depth knowledge if our cuisine is rare to see, but you have it. Keep up the effort!
You are wonderful and I have been following your channel for a few years now. Your knowledge of our culture, particularly our Trinbagonian food has always been there. It’s your presentation in your videos that has grown by leaps and bounds. Keep up the good work! And throw your brother ‘Bat’ in now and again. He’s always good for a laugh like in the dhalpuri episode.
Beautiful and well presented introduction! What a beautiful garden you have? Nice! Or you could put it in an ice cube tray and freeze it, and put in a ziplock bag for storage. Take what you need when cooking is another option.
I learned a lot of new things in this video, like how to clean the herbs and how I can use my Kitchen Aid grinder attachment for something other than grinding conch! Plus also adding parsley to green seasoning. I does use the Aji Dulce/Aji Cachucha peppers that I always see in the Latin Supermarkets here in Miami since that is the same family as Pimentos but one day I have to make the trip to Ft. Lauderdale to get the real Pimentos from Bedessee or something to make the green seasoning official. Thanks for the great video Resh
Wow, I love this seasonings and my mum makes it a lot! It's good to season your meat, great video miss and I wished you all the best for the holiday season.
Thanks for your ideas on storing green seasoning. I usually make 2 Ball jars and store in fridge but now I think I’ll store it in the freezer and make it thicker instead of loose.....love the way you make green seasoning. I think I’ll invest in a kitchen aid grinder myself 😁🌸thanks and stay safe❄️❄️
Goya makes a recaito cilantro cooking base. Do you think that adding the cilantro, parsley, scallions, garlic, thyme, pimento peppers, and red peppers would qualify as green seasoning? Thanx for your response
Is there anyway to replace the culantro and the pimento peppers.... as they are impossible to get in my country .... I use chief Green seasoning but would like something fresh. Thanks for your video
I'm in TX too and miss pimento peppers so much 😢. Ordered the pimento sauce from Callaloo box, but it's so small. Where did your aunt get seeds and is she also in TX?
