I made this green seasoning this afternoon and MAN my fish was AMAZING. I modified it according to my ingredients. Thank you Jody... loved the scripture at the beginning
Hey, I love some green seasoning. It looks delicious. Here is a quick tip. Get an ice tray and put your green seasoning in it to freeze in a ziplock bag and take out a cube/s as needed. You can take cubes out of the tray and put them in the bag.
@@jodycookingg you also remove the white shell from garlic bulbs then put them in a foil with little oil bundle it up in a ball put in a warm oven for 10 min. Removed them then separate the garlic from the shells. They come off easier. It brings out more flavors from the garlic. Add it to mixture when cold. You could put it in oven first then continue cutting the other herbs while it's warming.
Thank you for sharing your green seasoning tutorial. It will be my first time attempting it. I have seen many recipes on this on YT, but yours is much easier to follow, imo😊🇬🇾🇬🇧
I made this green seasoning and when I say it elevated my food even tho my food was delicious it took it to a another level…… I love this green seasoning 😊
@@cookncraftz2035 Yes, the scotch bonnet peppers make the seasoning spicy. She put three, but you can reduce or eliminate if you want less/no heat/spice.
Awww yum so close to our sofrito 🎉we’re from Puerto Rico and Dominican Republic!!! It’s so similar so I know it’s amazing !!! We Caribbean people make the best food !!!!!

I made this over the weekend, and boy does it make a LOT! I'll be freezing it today. Good job and yes, it smells devine and tastes good to. I used it on baked chicken.
I can smell the scents, and all the colors are so beautiful! I cannot believe I am so excited about a seasoning video! Thanks, again, for another helpful and detailed video. As always, I love that you include all your ingredients and the amounts. You make all of your videos very easy to follow.
Jody your green seasoning look amazing love it. I hate peeling garlic too. I spend a few extra dollars to get the ones that's already peeled at the store.
Well done my sister, am so glad to see you use both the yellow and red onions in addition. I also loved that you used all of my favorite ingredients. May God bless you and make you bigger.
Love this! Two questions: 1. How long can you preserve for? 2. What does the cilantro do? I know most Jamaicans don’t typically use cilantro when cooking
Hi Jody love this video thanks for sharing. Will definitely be making this green seasoning. I loved the scripture readings. Where did you buy that cute little tin of scriptures? ❤️🙏🏾😊
I’m definitely going to try this and see hope my food turns out. I use all of these ingredients in my food but without blending, I’m excited to know hope it will turn out
Hey, would you use this when making curry goat or is that another blend? I've always wondered. Curry goat tastes amazing to me but I never learned how to make it. Thanks for this!
Your video would get a lot better if you already had your vegetables prepared and just show us how you blend them and store them. Having us watch you cut up everything is too long for me, however I do love the scripture reading

Awesome let me know your feedback ok
You putting in the stems of thyme leaves😮
Trini (Trinidad and Tobago) version:
Culantro (NOT cilantro) aka Chadon Beni;
Thyme;
Spanish thyme aka broad leaf Thyme;
Spring onion aka chives;
Celery;
Pimento peppers;
Scotch Bonnet peppers;
Garlic;
(Salt);
(Lime or lemon juice)
Hey hun you don’t have Cilantro listed
Isn't this epis?
Freeze in ice cubes and then empty in ziplock storage bags.
Similar to Haitian spices
Is this channel for guys only?
The pepper you use is not scotch bonnet they are regular hot peppers scotch bonnet is like the shape of the scots man hat hence scotch bonnet
Yes them look like habanero. Some people cyan find, or di store them call it Scotch bonnet but it's not.
You could reduce time on showing things like cutting and putting in a bowl.... unnecessary.
Its okay...I saw a better one from Trinidad
You saw it where? Post link so we can compare
That's good for you. It may have the flavor of Trinidadian food. This is the flavor of Jamaican food. Good day
