Looks like you received a fake one based on your power plug :/ do you know if this was bought directly from an authorized seller or on the Dyson webpage?
Sadly Dyson Supersonic is designed for looks, form over function. I really hate the buttons on mine. Tiny buttons are so stupid, never see a real professional hair dryers have button like this.
