I show you all of the attachments that come in the box and explain what hair types they’re best used for, a quick sound test compared to my old hair dryer and finally I give you my honest opinion on if I think its worth investing in one.

@@tech.nicola Purchased the same as yours in the demo with the gift box, I felt I got a bargain given Boots give £75 worth of points with the £359.99 purchase. I also purchased another, the pink one for my daughter given my 3 yr old twin Granddaughters will get the benefit of this hair dryer also so with all the points from Boots I was able to have enough points to purchase my wife's favourite perfume. Great video. thank you! I was tempted to buy one but because of it being so overpriced I came looking for reviews, I. Dyson does have a great looking design, look and feel and many claim they work brilliantly, I'm not convinced they work for every hair type. Perhaps for Caucasian, European hair types it does. But not all Asian, African hair. The air wrap or the dryer never worked for my hair. I had to return both, and I am a hair dresser! :) Another member in my family also that used it, it stopped working after a year for her. There are other professional hair dryers in the market that can do a way better job for less than half the price.
So did I manage to convince you either way? I’ve had the supersonic for 2 years now and use it all the time on both mine and my Little girls curly hair. It was the best switch from my old hair dryer, my hair definitely appreciates the Dyson!
I’ve never personally tried the air-wrap so I can’t compare, but I know they are very popular too.

Bought TWO Supersonics. Both overheated, stopped working. Nordstrom's credited albeit were just days after warranty expired. Bought new one at Dyson NYC flagship. Stopped working literally at the two year mark when warranty nearly ran out. Dyson refuses to stand behind its products. They are aware given the thousands of complaints that the hair dryers have a limited lifespan and they malfunction with the same issues (overheating/not turning on). I bought in 2021 a European Dyson in Paris. I know it will be a matter of time it will stop working and I've only used it 20 times at best. Don't buy a hairdryer. It won't last. I was happier with the 75.00 turbo hair dryer that lasted 10 years. A $500 hair dryer should last an eternity and not fail at the two year mark or prior.

They do them as limited editions. This was last years colour. The new colour Vinca blue and rosé colour looks stunning as well.

Mine did not come with the nice box:/ was it suppose to? I got it from Ulta
The presentation box comes with some editions of the supersonic (not all). There is also a pack that comes with the accessory brush and comb pack, but I couldn’t find that one at the time of buying this. They all vary in price too depending on the edition you buy - with or without a box I hope you love your supersonic as much as I do mine 💙

but why the cold shot button not staying on if I press it? for cold air. instead I must hold it which is a bit annoying
The cold shot is only needed to blast at the end. If you prefer to dry your hair cooler I’d suggest using it on the coolest overall setting.
You can turn the heat setting so no lights are on and it’s the same.
It’s called cold shot as it’s temporary while you have your finger on the button, a shot of cold air

Do the attachments fit in the box?
They do fit in the presentation box you couldn’t close the lid. You’ll find depending on your hair that you won’t need all of the attachments to hand. I regularly use 3 different types the others I store in the cupboard

There are so many they can’t all fit in along with the supersonic as well. Personally I store the supersonic and the few I use daily in the box on my dressing table.
What’s a “tooth comb”?
Wide-tooth comb creates volume and shape. Engineered for curly and coily hair, the Wide-tooth comb attachment has robust teeth to help lengthen hair as it dries, or create volume and shape. With air not extreme heat.

The can be purchased from many Online retailers, including Dyson direct. They are also available in a some stores but that will depend on which country you’re in.

My hair dryer busted right after the warranty period expired. Appx. 2 years and 4 months, $300 hair dryer died and the service center guy says the motor died. 2 years for $300 hair dryer lol

Much quieter than my previous hairdryers.
My Dyson hair dryer stopped working after 2.5 years (yes, I cleaned the filter). I took it into a local Dyson repair shop and they won't fix it because I removed the tag (that was an eyesore) with the serial number on it. So I'm out $600. They said they could sell me another one for a discount....sign. I'll never buy a Dyson again. I expect better service out of a premium brand. It's clearly a Dyson product. Not sure why the serial number is critical. Apple will work on any Apple product without a serial number. Not to mention the frustration of a $600 hair dryer failing shortly after the warranty period.
Serial number is critical because that’s how the company knows which specific device is defective which allows them to figure out how it became defective. Also it’s just a way to verify that it’s a Dyson product on paper.
1:35 The hairdryer and cord with two 'small' attachments will fit in the case. The larger attachments will not fit with the hairdryer...
However, with such an expensive item... would you want accessories bouncing around in the case scratching up your beautiful hairdryer ??? Didn't think so...
I store the attachments in the box and the hairdryer sits on the top as I don’t close the lid. I use it everyday so it works for me to have them easy to find.
The Dyson stand looks lovely though if you’d rather not store your hairdryer in the box like this.
