- Hello, my art-loving people! Today, we are trying out the Viviva Travel Paint Kit, and their colorsheets. How well does it work out in the field? Find out in this video!

That travel paint kit looks so handy and compact. It was awesome seeing the kit being tested outdoors and seeing the pros and cons :D

Nice kit. When I got the 2022 inktober set the paper kept ripping and the paints were all stuck together. The replaced the paint. When I reviewed the sketchbook they refunded me without me emailing about it. That’s excellent customer service. They are beautiful, enjoy the kit 😊

It was so fun seeing this kit in action! I would love to give this as a gift, but I've realized that I have a tendency to inflict my hobbies on others when they may not be interested. Also, you have amazing views! I loved the clouds too!

What a lovely open space to hike just near your home. Must feel like paradise. The kit looks awesome, but with two tiny kids is not possible for me to paint outdoor😅 I will have to wait a few more years to enjoy that type of freedom

Their cork palette is filled with vibrant color choices. I love them but that Travel Deluxe kit has been out, since Christmas 2022. Glad to see you were able to get one, Miranda. Thank you for sharing your adventure. Just a warning, plein air painting can be addicting. Enjoy.
Recently I replaced the original set of sheets. I keep them in a pocketbook with other art supplies including a palette of sorts with small sections of Peerless paints. They play well with the Viviva.
When I gave into the "I want" and got another bag for plein air, I added the spring collection of Peerless colors to that setup. The bag I got is sold for nurses and has all kinds of pouches and pockets. I also got a nurse's clipboard that folds in thirds. Have taken it out a few times and tweaked it. Will let you know how it works out.

I think some of the appeal for me with plein air beyond the enjoyment of being outside and quite often with a group is that I put less pressure on myself. My outside work isn't usually as good as inside and I'm okay with that.
Exactly! It's more about the experience. Btw, I've found out that old diaper bags are great for plein air.. especially if you like taking lots of stuff

Yes, I've truly been enjoying painting outside - with and without my friends, but my favorite is with my group.
Yay I finally had time to watch this! It looks like a fun kit to try. I haven't tried any of the Viviva products yet, but this might make it onto my list for next year! I love painting outside! And you're right, be gentle with yourself. I always go into an outdoor painting session wanting to make something beautiful, but when I look back at the painting later, regardless of how it turned out, what I love most is that feeling of being in the moment. I just don't get that same feeling from photos, no matter how much I love them! When you paint something, you spend time with it. Your painting turned out so vivid and lovely, and hopefully brings back cool memories! ❤

Giveaway...love the idea of these paints. But have never tried them... go puppies go😂 keep up the plain air painting. When ever i try i always think its not as polished as the painting i do from images
Yeah, I think because I know I'm on a time limit and it's not always planned out as well as some of my other paintings - but it sure is fun!

I’ve been so curious about the colour sheets as they look so compact and perfect for on-the-go! I think I’d prefer the elastic if it wrapped around from left to right horizontally (instead of top/bottom vertically as it does now) if that makes sense. Then it would be able to handle slipping a thicker book inside (without putting it in the slot). You live in such a beautiful area!!

You enabler you, bought the travel paint kit nefer seen it before your video 😂, love it, wrapped it up for my birthday next week, it smells like leather too it was £28 from amazon. I am contemplating sticking two magnets on the flap and the body of it but am afraid it might rip it after a while

I do think the word "need" should be removed from all creative's vocabularies as it rarely applies. Usually "want" is the appropriate verb for us. 😄We just can't help ourselves.

I always wondered about the value of the paints. If they’re superior paints then viviva products seem overpriced (or maybe it cost a lot to make the cork palette?). Either way, would love to try these paints through your giveaway!
