I don't know the exact numbers, but it's somewhere in the ballpark 7k per SCU for the RMC and 1.5k for the Construction Materials. It's big enough to make some salvagers that were only fracturing consider scraping too now...myself included after trying a few legal salvage missions.
@@mydartswinger I didn't consider the RMC rates. That is definitely useful information. I will test that out once this goes live, and do an updated video.
You have like £2000 worth of ships haha
Most of them are loaners, my fleet cost is approximately $3,600 and it's value is $5,755. I was a single software developer with high disposable income, and was addicted to the CCU chain mini-game. I wouldn't do it now. I will do a video on my fleet sooner or later, on actual ships and value.
Must love CIG overnefing everything all the times. Now WHO will hire people to form a crew? Anyone can make money faster just doing bounties.
Yah, they need to keep the benefits of large ships like the Reclaimer. You get a large ship you are supposed to make enough money for 4 person crew. This nerf to Construction Material is a step in wrong direction. It is very frustrating! Hopefully they find a way to balance it out sooner rather than later.
@OldManInRecliner it wouldn't be so bad if it wasnt for the rmc bug. Rmc is supposed to sell for 25k a SCU but its gone down to 14k per cause of all the people duping the commodity
dont forget that every profession got a 2-5x nerf in value on top of the nerf to salvage, in the form of ship price increases, I cant even bring myself to play this patch because it feels like everything you do is such a waist of time
Yah, the 3.23.X patch with Cargo hanger updates will probably be profitable. I am also dropping updated video tomorrow, that shows you can still make almost a million aUEC in one run.
Nice video and tutorial. But in general salvaging is dead.
They increased Reclaimer price x2.
Decreased profitability by x4 (FOUR TIMES WTF IT WAS TWO!)
Increased the average ship price by 3-5 times.
It simply not worth the time for salvaging.
Nope. It was made too easy before because the devs needed testers.
dude it was stupid before, now its in line with most things like mining.. i mean shit you can even make 20k in a vulture just showing up vs a cutlss lol
Yah, they always do it. Make the thing they want to test the most lucrative. Cargo will be the BIG money maker in 3.23.X patch when they introduce the new cargo mechanics.
@@doubledigital_ a 50 million dollar ship shouldnt make less money than mining with a rental cutlass and ROC, right now mining hadanite gets you more money per hour than a reclaimer
Dead compared to what? It's just being brough in-line with other long-in game loops.
Good info but your B roll needs to come with a seizure warning. I appreciate that you wanted to speed it up for us but maybe make the clips smaller and at normal speed instead?
Yah making updated version now that it is live. I will try cutting out the all the running around and flying. I wanted to give people the whole loop in case they didn't do it before, but only been doing it a month. I didn't even have a real video editor software until after made this. :)
is it normal the Missions spawns once a day
Yah, that has been my experience since go live of 3.23.
And once they are done testing salvaging... it'll go back down to normal price and payout will be better for something else then you can just lock that salvage ship up and let it collect dust lol.
Yep the next money maker will be with cargo in the 3.23.X patch when they update that.
