I just hope they fix the broken LOD soon. ... It's hella annoying that they are so hard to find, especially with the new markers that aren't really precise. What about the floating C2 wrecks, are those still in the game? Made so much money with those when salvage was new, but I don't know if you can still do that. Someone in general chat said you can... but if so, I don't know how to find them anymore because the HUD and pinging/scanning have changed. This patch I was just doing salvage contracts and making okay money, but eventually decided to go looking for C2's. Only ended up finding a couple of panels, but these little panels have WAY more RMC on them than it appears. Scrape 2 of them and your buffer storage is near full. There will have to be some nice reputation rewards for doing contracts, because salvaging without contracts is way more profitable.
@MrSlvr2000 I've actually still never salvaged one of my own ships lol. Does the current cargo bug issue in 3.23.1 that doesn't clear when you stow your ship affect the Vulture cargo? I heard you had to not stow your ship to make sure the cargo is cleared off of your ship.
That bug affects the cargo grid on my Vulture. I have noticed that whatever cargo I had sold before the ship was stowed would still be there on the grid but invisible. What I normally do now when I log back in or after I’ve stowed it, I’ll go and check the admin and TDD and sell the cargo… even though it was cargo that I had already sold.
Excellent video! The only down side I’ve found is spending 1-2 hours in space doing a few clean up missions and when I finally arrive at the TDD, RMC isn’t sellable because of overstock. 😬 Then there’s the dilemma of waiting 10-15 minutes for the server to “tick,” or spend 10 minutes exiting and rejoining the server and taking the really long tram ride back and hope you can sell them! 😂

Yeah it's not just because of how the trading is set up, there is a cargo duping bug right now so demand is always maxed out everywhere. So stupid, people can't just play the game, they have to use exploits to skip all the work and go straight to the reward... then they complain that there's nothing to do and no reason to play.
I'm still finding the missions are more profitable in my reclaimer. I run 2 50k missions and strip then munch and pull upwards of 1mil. Just have to hull scrape now and not just munch.
@@MrSlvr2000 I don’t think this is a new bug. It just might be one that has never been reported and fixed. It could be unintentional; I have noticed this in a previous patch.
Currently you get RMC and construction materials. I don't see them adding anything to it for at least another year. There is supposedly more crafting type stuff planned but that again I believe is a year or more out. Due to the stability of the game it just feels like development is slowing due to all the issues.

If you are making a guide to salvaging panels with a Vulture then I strongly disagree with your recommendation to get rid of the Cinches. ONE single large panel when scraped with a Cinche and an Abrade will yield 15SCU. Today I tried two Abrades and I barely managed 10scu from the same pamel. Yes it was faster but if you have to go find another group of panels to fill up your ship then you are wasting more time than you saved. With one cinch and one abrade I take 36scu from a single location of three panels (23 in the bay and 13 in the buffer) and that yields 500K without any more searching needed. Two cinches will get even more from one panel but then it is very slow. Regarding the 'disappearing' panels, they are not disappearing. What is happening is that around 3.5km they no longer appear on the scanner. It's a bug but if you then proceed slowly (*very* slowly) in the same direction and watch carefully you should see them visually. Personally I always go to the Lagrange points. Salvaging right next to a pirate base is just asking for trouble 🙂
Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment. For me time is money and if you take the two abrades and adjust the beams just slightly wider you can get material in literally half the time, but yes slightly yes less for sure. So far I've yet to not find a group that didn't fill my entire ship......but that's just my experience. As far as the panels disappearing. They are in some cases not showing. I've literally watched the spawn right in front of my ship. But again that may not be every case. This video was not really a tutorial more just showing how I had been doing it. Most of the time I have a team mate the runs the cargo back and sells while I continue salvaging. Great content, any idea what the PIERC meter is on the scanner (right side), I haven't worked it out yet and not found much info for it ?
Not sure what it stands for but I believe it's the widening/narrowing of your scan. So if your at like 100 it may give you more information.

Yeah it should clear up - its usually hit hard the first few weeks and people stop playing pretty fast. I'd say after the freefly and event it will be better.

I just hope they fix the broken LOD soon. ... It's hella annoying that they are so hard to find, especially with the new markers that aren't really precise.
The panels are there, they just need to be close enough to be visible. You need to aim for the marker and slowly approach. If you get withing 300ish meters, they'll show up.
I split my time between Mining and Panel scraping in the Halo. Never stopped that since the Vulture got released. ^^
I don't see any of it getting fixed until the new cargo patch releases. Looks like maybe at least 1-2 months 😔
Does anyone already tried in 3.23.1 to find the Panels in the Aaron Halo Belt? Or to find C2 Wrecks in the Aaron Halo?
The panels are there.....not sure about the wreck.
@@MrSlvr2000 nice good to know thx
Awesome video. Thank you
Thank you! Much Appreciated.
They are but people mostly just salvage their own shops these days.
@MrSlvr2000 I've actually still never salvaged one of my own ships lol. I suppose the Corsair would be okay for that, but I just don't really want to deal with claiming it and pulling it out every time. And never really felt the need to use my own I guess. Salvaging the C2s I would respawn and bring the Corsair or Hull A and carry 2-3 vulture's worth.
Maybe I'll figure out how to find the C2s again. Probably just have to find one and see how it appears on the scanner, how much mass, etc. But even if I can't find them reliably again, the loose panels are great. As long as you can find them consistently that's good money. Thanks for the video, excited to try it again now.
Where did you get the custom salvage heads? As fas as I know it's not something sold at all
Any dumper depot sells them for sure and probably some of the processing decks at the Lagrange points l. I actually showed it in the video.

@@usmcpound I sell directly from the vulture myself. If you ARE going to do it with a team mate I suggest this. Spawn your own cargo ship in and let them fly it. When you get it filled you take it back to any TDD to sell while your team mate continues salvaging. Rinse and repeat.

they spawn in slow yeah i usually dont see them until im right up on them
Time for a mining/salvaging combo ship To stay weeks as a soloist in the belts! (If bed logging stays a thing.
Dont do Bed Logging, there is a bug that prevents you from logging into the game. Infinite Loading screen is back
Does the current cargo bug issue in 3.23.1 that doesn't clear when you stow your ship affect the Vulture cargo? I heard you had to not stow your ship to make sure the cargo is cleared off of your ship.
It does effect it as in they don't snap....however you can still stack the boxes manually and it still reads them all. No space lost.
freefly and everyone selling RMC
Also there is a dupe sell exploit. People buy rmc from settlements and dupe the sales in big ships like the c2.
@@MasumiHaku I forgot about the swell in player numbers due to free fly! 🥲
@@Outsider5wr I had no idea about that! That explains why I never had any issues selling my large volumes of CM or RMC in 3.22 but now the stations I go to are all full. 😔
That and it's just the fastest way by far right now. With the huge ship price hikes it will probably stay that way through this patch.
Not working on ARC L1 and ARC L2 tried your method but the outcome was one full vulture in 1.5h the panel spawn rate at ARC is very very low.
Interesting - hit up miners lament. That's where I was in the video. I honestly didn't have any problems at the L points though. Hit or miss I guess. Miners lament will be good.
Wait, could a ship out to miners lament then fly the vulture out there to fill the other ship up with rmc?
Yes you could take a cargo ship to transport.
Do the crates auto populate in the vulture at some point or do I need to buy the crates?
You eject them in the rear of the ship and stack them up
how do you get gimbal mode to trigger? all it does is make my ship lock in place and i can't aim or point at anything with the tips

Are we able to sell another players salvaged cargo now though? I remembee a few patches ago me and my friends salvaged panels on one persons vulture and stocked up on another persons hull c. But it did not work to sell it as it counted as stolen cargo for some reason
This is something I need to test. Usually I call my own cargo ship and have a team mate fly it. Once it's loaded up we swap ships and I go sell.
You've skipped the most important part - actually getting close enough to those panels to see them without losing track of where they are.
I covered it.....I said you have to go extremely slow. Sometimes you just have to sit and let them spawn.
I did wish u showed that as well instead of skipping the hard part of finding and being at the panels, otherwise good video
How long does it normally take to fill ship and have a full buffer/stacking/going to port and selling take?
If you are just counting the time AFTER you find the panels then I'd say 20-30 minutes (maybe less if you have a team mate). It's actually a pretty nice buff....the panels seem to give way more RMC than ship hulls.
It’s a pity the silly setup of RMC trading devalues the work we do salvaging.
100% and it's unlikely to be fixed till the next patch as well.
If you fracture it...the RMC will respawn and you can scrape it twice.....new bug right now
@@MrSlvr2000 omfg....had no clue....going to be fun salvaging today!

I don’t think this is a new bug. It just might be one that has never been reported and fixed. It could be unintentional; I have noticed this in a previous patch.
How did you load in the RMC?
@@inasuma8180 you eject it out of the machine in the back 😁. Then you just move it to the grid.
can you only get RMC or is there other materials you can get from salvaging?
Currently you get RMC and construction materials. I don't see them adding anything to it for at least another year. There is supposedly more crafting type stuff planned but that again I believe is a year or more out. Due to the stability of the game it just feels like development is slowing due to all the issues.
everytime I try this the object disappears when I get near it.

Are panels rendering correctly for you or do they still only appear right before you hit them?
They only appear right before.....made a comment in the video about it.
If you go extremely slow....they will populate
I usually just put a Pisces in a C2 and fly out of armistice. Then take the Pisces back to station, switch to Vulture and go salvage my C2. Is it an insurance scam? Yes. Does it save time and pays good money, Yes 😂

Thus game is fun but I will say it's only fun when you can get a ship that let's you do stuff like this, I had to join a guild to do that but once you get a ship that's useful other than your starting ship your off to the races
Truth! Also, I find playing with people make it more fun. Given I've been playing for years but it's exciting to run around the verse with some team mates.....makes me care a lot less about just earning money.
@MrSlvr2000 I just picked up the game a month ago and solo doesn't really make sense to me if your not buying ships off the website lol but ya your right about that
I feel like its still better money just doing trade runs. Faster and more consistent profits.
I think that's the case I'f you have a large ship.....but anything mid or smaller it's just not worth the risk IMO. Maybe if you're drug running.
@@MrSlvr2000 there is inherently more risk with trading yeah but I think since MM were introduced in 3.23 pirating has gone down a lot. Here is the simple version of meta trading: hydrogen - large ship, Beryl - medium ship, gold - small ship. These will change once the economy is improved but they will make you a ton of money per hour trading.
@@MrSlvr2000 drug running is not worth it btw unless you pirate the drugs from someone else that purchased them. The max inv rate is what makes it a bad choice for reselling.
@@drewber2006 honestly for a smaller ship it's a decent. I just did a video on one a week or two ago. Was a good 30k profit just on a titan. Which not bad if it's your only ship and you have nothing else and like cargo running.
Trade runs might net some huge money if you got the money for investing first and they are also good in terms of aUEC/hour/Trip but the Risk is high.
Some Bugs, Pirates or whatever is really painful. Salvaging is basically risk and investment free once you got the Salvage Ship
Id love to but cant sell rmc

Soo now i have a fully loaded vulture and am unable to sell at orison because of 'no demand'. i think selling it elsewhere is too time consuming, right?

Looks for a signature of 6000, 8000, 10000 ,12000. Those should be a nice group of panels. Remember go slow as they take time to render in.

@@Matthew.1994lol not even close, HH break apart missions are still worth it after nerf
@@timsgta realy? just braking them up for construction materials or first scrape for RMC?
@@Matthew.1994 Breaking for mission is 30k, Hull scraping yields like 40 SCU (maybe a few more, lets just use the 40 SCU example) which is 600k from RMC. The Ship itself yields around 220 SCU in Construction material so thats around 330k since they are now 1500 per SCU.
So you still make roughly a Mill per HH.
The contracts come in pretty slowly so just do Salvage Panels while waiting! If you are Lucky you also find some shipwrecks. I found a Reclaimer a couple of days ago which was like 60 SCU RMC iirc and also around 600 SCU in construction material (its actually like 850-900 but it exceeds the Buffer so you waste some)

40 min no panels in sight...
I had them spawning for me all over the place. Might have to try a different server if they never render.
The panels spawn wayyyyyy more for myself at miner lament....your right it is close to pirates...I always just make sure I'm at least 200k+ away before I start scanning....and scanning away from them 😁
Thanks again seriously for watching and the comment!
