My very first home in 1992 almost the very same floor plans $ 14,700 people COVID is over but they still trying to rip you off what family trying to starting out can afford $ 85-100k it's no wonder young people are living with their parents longer
Price gouging at its worst. I bought 1 in 95 total delivery heat pump and all total was 19,200. Even in 2019 I looked and same size was upgraded and still total turnkey $36,000. Now same home is 90 or so. Since 2021
I bought my house for $135k. $100k for a mobile home is asinine. That's not even including the land and setup of utilities on the land. My house might not have a quartz countertop but it does have a foundation.
Chance thanks again for a mobile home tour. I LOVE the master bath! Really different from most other mobile homes. I will have to agree with some of the other comments below about the rise in cost of single wide mobile homes. Four years ago you coud buy a fully loaded mobile home in Dothan, Alabama for $50,000 which I thought was high. However, those single wides are now over $100,000 dollars. A huge jump in price over a few years. I really feel sorry for young people inAmerica. Housing (to include apartments) has gone beyond the affordability of most wage earners. So much for the American dream of owning your own home.
Add in the cost of the lot fee IF you put it in a trailer park. If the note is $1,100 a month and the lot fee is $675, you're at $1,775 a month. May as well buy a house. Lot fees ALWAYS GO UP.
This has to be the nicest single wide floor plan I’ve seen. This would be perfect for a family just starting out-even with two kids they could easily share that room with the large closet.
Lovely home. All the rooms are very well proportioned. Master bathroom is lovely. Choice of colors throughout seems to flow & blend well throughout the home
It's nice to see Fleetwood finally building quality homes. I work 14 1/2 years at their Longview, Texas plant building travel trailers as an electrician. They had hundreds of trailers rejected because of shoddy workmanship. My electric work was rated as the best.
Hi Jeffery! You could probably tell us many stories of your personal experiences with Fleetwood, at Longview, Texas. Nevertheless, with the way house prices have become out of reach for us plain folks from the military, I still believe this is a reasonable way to still own your "own four walls" without going broke. I live in a condo in South Florida and the HOA fees have gone through the roof, too! You and I will probably never get to see it, in person, but the very best way to live (at least much cheaper than a Mobile Home Park) would be through a CO-OP, where everybody pays for the monthly costs, including the water. If you have any ideas you want to share with all of us, I welcome your comments because you know the business of mobile homes. Take care! Joe
Seeing these prices on mobile homes being comparable to stick built is fkn depressing. The housing market is destroyed by banks, flippers, landlords, and greed.
Ughhh 100k for this?? Too steep, man!! I just baught a 3 bed, 2.5 bath, attached garage, waterproofed basement, central air, new roof, new windows, half acre of backyard with a shed, .25 acre front yard with a paved driveway for 155K and that comes with the land i own No way is this worth 100k But this was a good video and i appreciate you taking the time to review this for us the ppl!! Thanks
@tomtermini1254 I live in US, Ohio, but the house i bought was remodeled and then sold, It's not brand new like this moble home, but has had all the more expensive things replaced new. My house was built in 1960 but in the years has since had additions built onto it (like the attached garage and the shed out back) My house also has new hardwood floors and an original woodfire fireplace that we use every winter All I'm saying is for 50K more I believe I got alot more for my money than just a brand new mobile home Yeah, this is brand new, but I think it's too pricy in comparison to what I got
Yes that is an insane price. These pieces have gone crazy. About 5 years ago I looked at a DW over 2000sqft and gorgeous with beams on the ceiling a dog wash/mud room and it was 85k. I don't know what happened
The kitchen while not quite big enough is very nicely done. Love the color combinations. We watch your videos all the time and we love your sense of humor. God bless
I like this model with the office. Add tall cabinet to office space, then put in a single Murphy bed to act as a guest room when needed. The tall cabinet can be used as a closet.
I remember visiting an Uncle in Ft. Myers who lived in trailer park for seniors. Coming from Ontario Canada we do not have trailer parks. Well that’s not quite true. They have some but they are seasonal May thru October. You can’t use them in the winter here. But, I like the look of them.
Pretty nice. Shutters look cheap & useless. Add some hinges & closures for storm protection. I'd want a roof over the main door during rain storms. All of the outlets near sinks need GFI protection. How well the house is insulated wouid be good to know. Durability of siding would be good to know. Stability of construction would be important. Air conditioning add on for hotter locations would be important.
Surprisingly nice for the price. My only comment is this, I would have liked white molding to make the rooms look bigger. Thos dark moldings make the rooms look smaller and boxy. JMO
This checks all my boxes, I was going to get a 3 bedroom with intention of turning small bedroom into an office when I move in. I don't have to with this one.
Instead of a tub can we have a shower option? It would be fantastic if you showed us the air exchanger location, and also where the house connects to the septic. Great video!
Does it ever outside water outlet . To many windows. The office is little. It's looks nice looking. I want a tub . They could split the closet for both little bedrooms.
This was inspiring. The interior design ideas were creative and budget-friendly, showing how to make the most of every square foot. It's reassuring to see that beautiful and functional living spaces can be achieved even in a mobile home.
We lost our home in Hurricane Helene. Insurance has said that they are maxing our policy, so we had hopes of putting something newer but smaller on the property. Sadly, the full value of the policy doesn't even come close to paying for what you are now calling, "affordable"
Wow..this home is lovely..I could see myself living quite comfortably in this and my cats..lol...it's got everything I need and more...I don't need an office but that room would by nice for my fur babies...all it needs is a small wood burning stove and sign me up! Great job finding this one Chance..
❤😊This is quite appealing for a single wide home to me, Chance. I lived in a single wide home in the late 70s and the price points have upped immensely. Never the less this the 21st century, past Covid and inflation is on us like D as in did! Anyway thanks for the view.😊
I’d go for three bedroom as I can use bedroom as guest and office. I don’t mind a few feet smaller living room to have the flexibility of the bedroom in case. But as a older single or couple the two bedroom configuration works well for more living room and dining area if you cook or entertain. Many couples like a bedroom they can sleep in because one snores. A third guest room/ office would be perfect.
I love the wooden shutters and the kitchen countertops. And the laminate flooring make a great homey feel. However, what I don’t particularly care about is small windows that are too high to see out of. I would like it a whole lot better if it had all large windows. Also, not enough windows in the master bedroom. I like windows and all sides. In the master bath, the shower was amazing
Hey man, we have a small lot, traditional mobile homes will be a VERY tight fit on our lot either sideways or longways. How about doing some square shaped man homes?
Come on Chance. (Utility room)😅. Love the way you say that. Beautiful layout for a singlewide. Beautiful colors inside. Definitely not a fan of outside color. But that's why we have options right? Another great tour. And need to hear Utility room again 😅.
Get the eat at bar gone and make a solid wall (Gives more living room space and furniture placement options) and make that area in the kitchen have wrap around upper cabinets and change the lower cabinets to be drawers over doors style cabinets and maybe this kitchen would THEN HAVE A GOOD AMOUNT OF CABINETS.
If you did away with the master bath, and just had a laundry closet with accordion doors, you would have a larger kitchen and a bigger middle bedroom/office or more storage. These homes are nice either way.
Glad to see the built in linen closet and the linen/storage cabinets in the master bathroom. So long as the modification is done to the est at counter (delete) and drawers over doors style cabinets then this would be a very good home.
I really Wish they would Stop Putting Wire Racks in these Homes it Looks So Cheap n Tacky. I also Think if they put Pocket Doors in it would also save Space. Otherwise it's Beautiful. Thank You 😊
They have to save money where they can to keep the price down. You can find homes with upgrades like that but you'll pay more, just depends on your budget. You can't have every upgrade and maintain lower prices.
I hate pocket doors. I've been trapped in rooms because of pocket doors when they come off track a lot of times. I'd rather have a curtain over the door than a pocket door.
Love having a larger living room and the small office vs. a 3rd bedroom. Perfect for retired couple or small family. Wish they would put water heater access door on exterior and - as always - should be more drawers in kitchen than in master bath.
How can you get this in a 4 bedroom option with a built-in office or a 3 bedroom option with a built-in office? Can you get a garage and a kitchen pantry with this home?
Kinda expensive for something that was thrown together in a couple hours, my brother worked in a mobile home plant for years and they would pump out five or more of these a day, how much quality could there be?😅
Nice place. I would use the 3rd bedroom as an office and need more space than the "office" offers. While the closet by the front door is appealing - and rare in ANY mobile home, never mind a single wide - I wouldn't want to sacrifice the 3rd bedroom to get it.
We bought a used 2001 3 br 2 bath 1570 sq ft mobile about 9 years ago for 49,000. For the first five years cost of living was great but now the lot rent is too high. Over 700 a month. So if you can put on on your own land it may still be a good deal but you would have to downsize.

You have to have it installed in yourself or pay extra for the factory to do it for you. Same thing with the water main shut of values. You have to pay extra for it to be installed otherwise you just get the shut offs on the actual sinks/toilets

Since 2019 all single and double wides have went up between 100 and 130%. More than double since 19
I bought my first starter home then and it was 78k. And that was in South Alabama. It was expensive back then as it is now.
I bought my house for $135k. $100k for a mobile home is asinine. That's not even including the land and setup of utilities on the land. My house might not have a quartz countertop but it does have a foundation.
Bought 16 x 60 in 1995..3 bed 2 bath still living in it with updates 18,000 now 85,000 is just too much Sad

I bought my first home in 1971. It was a mobile home equally as nice as this one, however, in 1971 my home purchase price was less than $9,000.
I bought a new 14x56 with wood stove in 1986 for 15k should of held onto it can't get one now for less than 70k☹️
I would take out the office and put in a wood stove !!! My wife passed away and this home would be fine for me. I really like it !!!
Nice presentation. As a single man with no kids this might be a good idea 💡.
That's what I'm thinking. 👍
Lovely home. All the rooms are very well proportioned. Master bathroom is lovely. Choice of colors throughout seems to flow & blend well throughout the home

A bit of time, a gallon or two of lighter paint, and you can have the molding fixed. Or live with it a few months to see if it grows on you.

I like the option for the office but if I did that I wouldnt want the built in desk, hopefully cut the cost up front.
Very nice kitchen love it .😂❤
Did I miss it or is there no dryer vent?
I didn’t see one either…
You have to have it installed in yourself or pay extra for the factory to do it for you. Same thing with the water main shut of values. You have to pay extra for it to be installed otherwise you just get the shut offs on the actual sinks/toilets
So if a guest needs to use your bathroom - they have to go through your master bedroom?
Nice home, but wow factor for me! Safe travels Chance
Beautiful Boxcar On Wheels"
They need to start making the overhang on these roofs at least 16"-24" instead of the 4"-6" .
I wish I could afford one❤
Show one were you can put a freezer
How much does it cost
85k to 100k
Too Much
I’m like everyone else, add fireplace and it would be perfect
Can you really call them shutters, if they don't shut?
