I hope to get the x758 when I'm older (I'm about to start college at Purdue). The X700 series from JD seems to be the best there is in the garden tractor class. You should make another video, like this one, and if you're worried about repeating yourself, just go around the neighborhood instead. I'm sure you've got the tank for it ;)
You might try more engine RPM while plowing. It's better for your Hydro and Battery. Nice demonstration of the capabilities of these machines! I like to see them push deep snow.
Yes, it really is because the plow and quick hitch are quite heavy and put too much weight on the front wheels. That is hard on them and you will get a lot more traction with the weight on the back. I have 6 weights that are about 40 pounds each. You have a really nice tractor and I hope you enjoy it!
Hi Scott. The light is an LED Model LEDB-4-AMB from Larson Electronics. It plugs into the switched 12 volt cigarette outlet. I had the pole custom made by a friend who is a welder. It is made of 3/4 inch black pipe and bolts on the rear weight bracket holes without modification. Since I cross the road occasionally, I wanted it visible in all directions so it needs to be above my head when seated. I have to be careful when I am going under low hanging branches during mowing or leaf mulching sessions. Thanks for watching! TJ
+Hayden Gregory You will love it. I have no other diesel engines and I didn't want a third gas can to manage in addition my 4 cycle and 2 cycle engines. The diesel is a great choice for long term use and durability.
It does a real nice job TJ, but it’s probably a good operator too!
Dang these tractors really push . I have x748 .x595 and x575 and looking back on what these machines are capable of is incredible!!

I have heard that and I now run it at full throttle. Thanks for the tip!
nice 2 hours of work done in 2 minutes
I have a new 738. is it necessary for the weight in the back plowing on flat ground? Thanks for the great vid!!

WOW great machine
Where did you find the amber flashing light and mounting pole? That's awesome!

what was the height of the snow in the video?
+Englishbars As I recall it was between 18 and 24 inches but the JD had no problem moving it.
are they stock lights?
+Jarret Zendt
Yes, they are and I am impressed with them.
Question is this the diesel version?
+Hayden Gregory
Hi Hayden, no it's the gasser. JD uses a 2 cylinder Kawasaki 25 HP engine for this tractor.
Thanks for watching!
TJ
+isellu thank you for the info looking to get a x758 with the diesel in it for mowing and plowing

I will sell my wife before I sell my Deere!
