It's amazing all the trash that comes flowing out of the washes by the Linq and Virgin Hotel . I saw 5 mattresses once by the wash at the Virgin go by and a man was sitting on top of one riding it out .

Used to work for securitas at the linq, we used to watch people go in and out of that wash all the time but there was nothing we could do about it because it technically isn't our property.
Someone take a kayak through it today.

Finally we got water in Vegas. We are very grateful.
Why are they waiting to the last minute to clear out the drains? They knew this has been coming for a few weeks now.

Dude, the water that falls there and with the quickness that falls is crazy. I've never seen anything like it like 1 second. You're fine the next second. Like the water's up to your knees and you're stranded. It's crazy how fast and hard it falls in Las Vegas.

The best place for the people living in our tunnels is a rehab facility, second best would be one of many shelters, third best would be a jail cell for destroying public works with debris and litter and/or possession of drug paraphernalia.
I know most people avoid the northeast side but it literally looks like a 3rd world country over there.

The 100 yr flood in the 90's happened in the West mountain range. The rain that fell in the city was an average summer storm. The run-off out of the mts is what obliterated the town....
A lay-person isn't going to grasp the dangers by looking up at the sky.
There are less and less native Las Vegans ....those who KNOW rain & desert don't mix. The water runs over the surface of the ground. It doesn't soak in.
Some people get hit by tumbling gold nuggets and drown with their hands still clenching their gold...
The guy that is always out there picking up aluminum cans off the side of I-8 had a back pack almost halfway full of gold nuggets on his bicycle basket...
When I saw that the storm would cause lots of runoff in Las Vegas, I immediately thought of the Troglodytes.

The system basically extracts a juice from these piles of potheads and bums' garbages and eventually turns it into your Las Vegas drinking water. Someone should be fired.

if they really cared about the people in the tunnels they would have police watch the entrances after doing a sweep removing everyone from the tunnels
Do you understand the tunnels throughout the entire city are connected. There is an entrance to the tunnels every other block and closer. There is not enough officers to “guard the entrance to the tunnels.
I think they will just let the water do their job.

Need to build a camp city for the homeless. In exchange they will be required to do service work to stay. Use the marijuana tax to do this. Problem solved.

@@jrockaz548All cities of any significant size will attract the homeless, as this is where you can shelter from the elements, soup kitchens/church charities and other sources of aid. Do you think those things are available in the small towns and bedroom communities that many of these homeless people (many of them addicts ofc) come from? Of course not.
