That was perfection, the natural sounds of your labor is all that is needed music while I like your.choices only gets in the way. The only possible way it could be improved is recording it in binaural. So glad you are back.

Great to see new content. I like the close ups with the focus and “out of focus” parts but often the wrong parts of the picture was in/out focus making it hard on the eyes to focus.

I have those exact same pair of boots so I was really interested in seeing how they turned out. I was not disappointed! My boots are getting well worn and I had no idea they can look that good again!

This answered a question I had about the inner stitching. I thought naively that those were done at an angle, not that they only were to the midsole that was then glued and outer stitched to the welt.

I found some really nice looking shoes on the internet but learned that they are constructed like crap! Brian's craftsmanship and education has taught me what to look for when buying new shoes and what to expect for how long they should last. You have a great show!

Is the Beckman (like the Rover) a Blacksmith with a different sole/lace/eyelet combination or is it a completely different boot?
@@DB-me3jt I believe that it’s different as the toe box is unique to the Beckman model. I have walked many miles in Beckmans. Great boots.
They have actually brought the beckman back
@D B Beckman has thicker leather than the blacksmith, so harder to break in and heavier
@@archygrey9093 Well it’s not on their website and I was just in a Redwing store and they had never even heard of the Beckman so I’m not sure you’re right!

After watching dozens of various videos of people at work on RUclips I really think I successfully land an Airbus A380 before I could remake a pair of boots as good as Brian does.
I love how him works, and how skilled is restoring those shoes; but I ask for myself, if those shoes are comfortable after.

Thank you for another great video Brian! I’ve got a question. Putting myself in the apprentices pair of boots…how many boots did you accidentally scuff with the sander while learning? Even having a ton of experience on belt sanders, I’d be paranoid of ruining someone’s boot!
