This is one of the many reasons why you are one of my goto Cobblers to recraft my boots. Your honesty, attention to detail, quality of work is outstanding! Will be sending another recraft for you very soon!
!Otro excelente trabajo! La toma casi al final cuando estás perfilando la orilla de cuero quedó bien chingona.! Nomas te falta decir al final coman frutas y verduras.
This is why you take care of your cobbler! There is nothing better than to know sending your boots to someone like Aaron, or better yet just send them to him!😎👍🥾👠👢
Great job Aarón! This is one of the reason I send my Boots to you from Florida because I know they’ll be done right. You know I’m a huge fan of those Vibram soles, you did 2 pairs of my Iron Rangers with that same 1705 sole and whatta difference. Nice & soft and extremely comfortable. Thanks like always! Oh today I will be receiving my pairs from Nicks, I’ll send you pics.
Thank You, I can’t Get Red Wing soles, the only difference is the brand, talking about wedge soles, the rest of them are Vibram and it’s actually better than red wing’s (wedge sole)
IDK what RW has against midsoles but the very few boots they use them on are typically rubber. I get that it's an added cost but it can't be much much especially when they have their own tannery. RWs with a nice leather midsole and heel stack are such an upgrade from the thin hard vibram lugs. Can't wait to wear out all my RWs to finally do them up right.
Another great resole & its pleasure to see your craftmanship. i was about to start to offer shoe repair service. may i ask, what is the thickness of the welt? is it 2 mm thickness? also, what is the normal thickness of the midsole? thanks.
@@AaronG2480 I'm glad I've seen all your videos but I didn't commend because I was in the hospital and I didn't want to put my credentials on you tube because here in Italy the wifi pierces you and they hack everything.
Sorry I don't understand what makes the Doc's longer to repair. I understand that the welt is rubber and needs to be replaced anyways but not sure why longer than redwings
Is not the welting, that’s just the same process as any other welt. I’ll explain it one of this days. BTW I’ve done several Dc.Martens this wasn’t the first time! Cheers!
Hello. Someone please explain. Why do shoe makers stress and advertise the leather whelt on some high-quality shoes IF this whelt is easily removed and replaced anyway in a video like this ? What am I missing here? I have shoes with a plastic whelt. If I go to this cobbler he will swap it out for a leather whelt anyway. Thanks.
Saludos Juan!
Why did you apply a video post-processing filter in this video? The lack of filter in older videos made colors look more real which is what you want to see as a potential customer.
Thanks for showing ugly work when it comes in. Finding good recrafting is difficult. There are too many poor excuses for cobblers out there. As always, a pleasure to see a job well done Aaron. Do you get many Thorogoods to work on? Curious.
Yes Aaron, why? You keep charging more money to your clients for doing a good job, for improving the resistance and longevity of their shoes, and for making them look better, why do you do this? Anyway, people who criticize someone for trying to do the best in what they do (which has a price), they don't understand the correlation between price and value, a job well done is expensive, a word often considered the same as overpriced, and they don't mean the same.
Look so much better.
What a good job, I hope to see your brushing machine finished that you sent to the turner ... Hug big brother 😃

Those look so good man 👍👍 beautiful work
I really like the natural welt. Beautiful work

Bro bro you did it again. This boots came out better than when they were brand new. Keep it my friend. Va con Dios amigo….

Fantastic content 👌 👏 👍
Aaron is the welt master!!
Mr. Welt 🤣🤣🤣
Those are so beautiful. Handsome welts and midsoles, a durable sole, and minimal conditioning. That will be one super happy customer, Aaron!
Nice work, Aaron. Shame that it wasn’t done properly the first time but glad you could make it right.
Great job and great video.

What a messy original work, but you fixed it and improved it.

There’s no normal midsole thickness but I use a thick one 9/10 0z is almost 1/4 of an inch thick, that’s what I use.
nice job bro
