Beautiful and easy to do .. i also used a clear spray with silver glitter and that helps to coat that flock on too which prevents shedding ~ thanks for sharing ~
I’m glad to see one with detail I spray flocked my tree and didn’t do it at a top angle and I didn’t like it not having the green on bottom so I wiped it off but now I will do this! Thank you
Amazing! Thanks for the video, flocked trees are always more expensive than green trees, but now I can transform my green tree to a beautiful flocked one for like $5 more!
Thankyou so much. I bought a new Christmas tree this year for our hallway but then I regretted not buying a flocked one. I’ll definitely be doing this, ready for next year. You’ve done a great job.
Omg... awesome video. You sold me on this. I have a beautiful expensive artificial tree my mother in law gave us. I love it, its very real looking, but i love the way the flocked trees look, so i have been thinking about doing this. I have a tall skinny flocked tree in our bedroom that i bought this year from walmart. I love it. It did shed when i assembled it, as it no doubt will when i disassemble it. So i have no problem dealing with some fall out. Thanks again. Your video was perfect.
This is gorgeous. Does the flock stiffen the leaves or make them sticky to the touch? How well does it dry? Considering for this year. Christmas gone i used spray paint on my tree and it looks pretty good. I just want something clumpy like flock for next Christmas.
It dries fine, and its like a hard texture. We still use the tree each Christmas and it still looks great! I haven't had to add more flock at all! The project is definitely worth it, looks expensive and real on the tree and you can use the tree over and over again!
Its going to be annoying, but I recommend covering each bulb in blue painters tape and removing the tape after the flock application. By the way, the tree still holds up and looks amazing! We still use it each Christmas and have not had to add more flock
I have yet to have a real tree for Christmas because I love my white tree so much! But I had no clue that you could do this absolutely love it. You have a new subscriber here keep up the good work!😘
I am wondering if you should spend some time fluffing the tree more because I imagine that would be more difficult one you have applied this flocking. ??
Omg.. I literally just purchase this product for my tree.. Im so happy i ran into your video.. It came out great.. The only issue is my tree already has lights build in the tree..i. guess ill see how it comes out.. 😁
Before you start flocking, make sure your tree is not plugged in. The flocking might stick to your lights so you will have to wipe the product off. Wait 24-48 hours to dry before plugging in the tree.
I just flocked my tree in the backyard today, luckily there was no wind at all so i guess you could do it outside but gotta check the forecast so you don’t do it when it’s windy
Jennifer Santeler I saw another video and you actually can!!!!! Just I guess cover the outlet with tape! And let it dry for 48 hours before decorating and turning on but you 100% can!
I may be wrong but I think the tree is around or over 11ft and I used just one box of flock. I think it was 5 lbs, Im sorry I dont really remember I did this two years ago but I think I linked it in the description box :)
Awesome video and it came out sooooo nice!!! I’ll be doing mine this weekend! Will the flock come off in the rain? I’m thinking about doing it to my fake tree that I put on my front lawn. I’m in California so during the holidays it does rain some. Thoughts?
Taji Pershard ❤️ the tree is around 6 feet fall and I only needed 1 5lbs box. You can watch my newest video to see how the tree looks like now ruclips.net/video/8yUdrQgSFMc/видео.html
The flock is designed to be applied to a fake Christmas tree and you are able to still string your regular lights on your tree without any issue. I would check the company's description just incase but I have not had any issues with my tree.
It really wasn't that messy! We were very surprised by that! It definitely sheds but not a lot! We've used this tree for a few years now and every time we take it out of the box or put it back in storage, the shedding is pretty minimal. A quick sweep and the house it clean :)
Would you let us know how the tree held up after storing it and taking it out for the Next Year. Great job it looks great. Someone told me to spray it with hairspray to help the flock stay, don’t know if it works though. Merry Christmas ✌🏽🙏🏽
Is this product permanent? Or is the "snow" falling off? I ask it because if one is going to put lights and decoration on it. and when it is saved will the product go away?
Dz Dari hello! It is a permanent product! Once applied you can not remove it. I have stored this tree and reassembled it and it looks exactly the same. You will have some fall out but the flock can not be removed. 💕 decorating it and adding lights will not remove the products neither will storing it but again you will have some slight fall out.
This looks so awesome! Great job on the decor, I love the owls in particular. As a little tip, next year, use lights with white wire and they will blend into the SnoFlock :) Have a very blessed Christmas!
I did mine with a 2lb bag...but I did it indoors ( looks like the wind was catching a lot of it here) and had the bowl in my other hand to catch the bits that didn't stick to kinda recycle it... I had a 7 foot tree. I got scared at the end but It stretched... with enough left to do a small wreath and a few ornaments...I started at the bottom though and assembled it as I went. I like the heavier snowfall on the bottom anyway...
Beautiful! I'm going to do this to my two trees in the next few weeks and ordering the exact flock. I also want to do my garlands. I'm hoping the 5 pound box will be enough but we will see. Once your tree was in your house and decorated, did it shed any or fall off? I read its hazardous for dogs so that worries me.
Hey Vivi! I wanted to check in to see how the tree has held up, this would be its 3rd year if I heard you correctly. I’m just wondering if the flock had any type of yellowing to it over time of if it still looks new and fresh. I have a beautiful tree that I would love to flock, but it’s pre-lit and from what I’ve read, that’s a no-no. Thanks for the info! 😊
I did everything step by step.Result?the next morning was like a giant snowflake exploded on my balcony.Waisted 6 packs of snow better off spraying the damn thing😆
I used my garden hose on super light mist so much easier 😀
Oh great idea 👍 thanks 😊

Wow, it’s awesome !! I bought a flocked tree already done and yours looks just as mine, store bought one. Congrats !

@@carouselcakes6237 that's is great to know, wish I could see lol, happy holidays!
Does the flocking fall off when you are assembling the tree again after you added the flock outside???
This is so pretty. I can’t wait to try it out since my husband wants a flocked tree so bad
Thank you! I've been wanting to do this forever! Can't wait and it looks simple and straightforward!

Sehr schön geworden 🌲
Thank you baby I forgot to tell you my family was so proud of the Beautiful tree that I make 😘
Absolutely beautiful!!
How is the tree doing after a few years? Do you have to do anything special when putting it away?
Love the look and technique used for the flocking. It looks so realistic.
Beautiful! How many bags should I purchase for a full 10’ tree?
Love it. Can this be done to a tree that has lights?
I think so! You may just have to cover the lights with tape to prevent them from getting completely covered in flock.
Will this flock come off in the rain, if put on a tree outside ?? Also, how long should you wait to let it dry, before bringing inside?
Hello! I believe that the flock will come off with rain, also It kinda was instantly but to be safe I waited a few hours before brining it in! :)
@@viviluxe8466 Thank you so much. Your tree is gorgeous. Hope you have a Merry Christmas!😀😀🦌🦌❄❄💚❤
How did you get the tree into the house after spraying it?
So beautiful I love it thank you for sharing I have to try it 🌺🌺
how did you store this after christmas?
This brings me back to victoruis days when trina and robbie flocked the tree
Thank you. I tried the spray can flock, it dries and falls off. Will try this type. I find a snow covered tree to be beautiful.
I have a suggestion...do you think it would be better to use light strings with white cords...so they blend in better with the flocked tree?
Couldn't you spray the tree with a water hose to take the place of the spray bottle? Seems easier? I love the look of this flocked tree.
This is so pretty loved it.
This flocking powder is on amazon right now for $23!
For 2.5 lbs.
What’s the name of it?
How do clean it to put it away?

@@sillysuz it turn out great.. The only small issue was wiping each light with a smal towel... Not that hard but time consuming.. Lol.. Worth it.
Very Nice! I will try this on my tree! Thanks!
How many boxes of flock did you use to get this coverage on your tree?
Can the snoflock be removed after somehow? Or its now permanently on the tree?
It's permanent. If you were really persistent, you might be able to scrape a good portion off, but it hardens and sticks pretty well.
@@SmittenKitten. oh okay. I had a feeling, but wanted to make sure. Thanks so much! :)
@@angiesoto2115 My pleasure!! :D
Chucks! I was hoping for a nice temporary flock. I wanted a white Christmas tree this year but can't afford to buy another. 😕🙁
Were you able to take your tree immediately back into your house or did you have to let it dry for a period of time first?
I let it dry for about an hour and then I had to take it apart to fit it through the door! It drys quickly but I waited to be safe!
It looks like you lost a lot of the flocking from the wind. I feel like this is probably better to do in a garage?
I just flocked my tree in the backyard today, luckily there was no wind at all so i guess you could do it outside but gotta check the forecast so you don’t do it when it’s windy
Yes it would be better to do it there if you have an area like that :)
I just used white spray paint it's much less messy.
Is it removable let say I want to turn it back to it's natural color green
No you cannot remove it once applied! It will always be white :)
What about trees with pre lit lights
Can I do this to a tree with lights already installed on? Or should I remove them?
I'm wondering that too. My lights can't be removed. I saw one RUclipsr who flocked a pre-lit tree, but she did add extra lights.
Jennifer Santeler I saw another video and you actually can!!!!! Just I guess cover the outlet with tape! And let it dry for 48 hours before decorating and turning on but you 100% can!

Will it be messy inside the house?

Does anybody know how long it takes for it to dry?
Will it block my lites the lites are made in the tree does it matter??
No it really doesn't matter that's how its the trees in the store look. This is the exact same material that tree companies use
1 how tall is the tree?
2. How much flock did you need to buy for this tree?

Hi, is the loose flock better than the flock that’s in an aerosol can.
Kei Lango i personally think so because it looks much more natural to me, I tried the can method on a different tree and it ruined it
Can you flock a pre lit tree???
How long did it take to flock the tree
Does te flock come in other colors , u said you got it in white , I’d be so excited if it came in reds and blues

You need to do it when is not a windy day...
What is the drying time?
Question: did you use the whole 5 pounds or did you have some left overs?
what if my tree has lights? do i need to cover the light bulbs?
I probably would
I probably would not do it on a tree with lights.
Your gonna cover the light bulbs with the powder
